Room smelled like mold. Building appeared in need of repair.
Towel rack fell off.
My room was mostly clean, and the hotel was close to the highway making it very convenient. Both the night staff and morning staff were friendly and helpful.
This hotel is the type with exterior corridors, which I did not realize before booking. This always makes me nervous as a female traveling alone. This was exacerbated by clearly drunk young men hanging around on the balconies shouting across at each other when I arrived at 12:30am. In addition, my room was oddly sub-par. The towel rack fell off the wall when I reached for a hand towel. The pillow cases were on inside-out. The desk chair was jammed under the desk. The curtains had something white dried on them. For $90/night, I expect better.
The beds were very comfortable
Carpet in room had a couple stains
mandatory extra $50 charge will mess up your trave
Watch out for that extra $50 fee that you must pay on the day you check out. The sign on the table will inform you of it, but the desk person won't go over it with you to make sure you understand that although you already paid $75 for your reservation via Kayak.com, another $50 WILL BE charged for incidentals. That $$ will be refunded when your room is found in order, all towels accounted for, etc. **it can take up to 2 weeks for that refund. I hope you have an extra $50 just to lend to LA Quinta during your travels. I hope you didn't want that $$ for gas or food or souvenirs/attractions, etc. You'll get it back but only after your vacation is over. So bring an extra $50 for them.
What I booked was not available.
Hotel did not honor the rate advertise my KAYAK,television did not work ,room had been flooded mildew stains everywhere's,clark's extremely rude.linen smelled as if they were soiled sheets.
Good price for a clean, comfortable room in a great location.
There were minor cosmetic maintenance issues in and around the room. Nothing major though.
The breakfast choices for the money spent. The convenience of being next to popular eating places. The flat panel TV.
There was spoiled food (bagel), but management was nice/courteous about it. The tiny bathroom.
