Overview

In the city that helped put America in space, SureStay by Best Western Huntsville University Area sets travelers down near the science and Southern charm that define Huntsville, Alabama, the original Rocket City. The U.S. Space and Rocket Center anchor the local identity, its towering rockets a short drive away and its history reaching back to the Apollo program. The Huntsville Botanical Garden offers a greener counterpoint, the University of Alabama in Huntsville sits close by, and downtown's restored districts hum with restaurants and music. A full calendar of festivals, from the Panoply Arts Festival to Concerts in the Park, keeps the season busy from spring through fall. Each room comes equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and flat-screen television, and a seasonal outdoor pool offers a break from the summer warmth. A complimentary breakfast starts in the morning. Rocket science one day and riverside festivals the next, Huntsville rewards a curious traveler.

Staff was friendly. It was reasonably priced. AC worked well and the room was clean. The bed was firm. This was comfortable for us. Only minor complaint of our experience was we had a non-smoking room and there was a smokey odor. Other than that, it met our needs.
