Pros:After camping for a week and only having access to cold showers, the bathroom, especially the shower was a highlight. It was nice to be able to dry out our tent on the balcony and rearrange our luggage room. Security on staff throughout night. Close proximity to Waikiki beach, shopping and restaurants. Value matched or slightly better than expected for location during spring break.
Cons:The keys didn't work initially and the room didn't have enough towels for all occupants. We had to haul 6 suitcases up 3 flights of stairs (no elevator). Halls were outdated. Neighborhood is frequented by less than desirable individuals/activities. Yelling, fighting and crying disturbed our sleep; not sure if it was coming from inside or outside the hotel. No shuttle. Expect to pay $45 via taxi to/from HNL or try Hawaii23 transport service. Another guest told us about them and the price was much lower with very friendly owner and driver.

Pros:Staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great in a side street but only minutes to the beach or strip. I sure liked the kitchenette.
Cons:Hotel is getting old and needs updates. Beds are small for a 6'3" guy.
Pros:Great staff. Free movie rentals! Great value for what you pay. Shuttle to airport for 13-14 dollars.
Pros:There were places on airbnb charging more than this, or not much less. I had 16 hours total in Honolulu, so between the efficient shuttle and White Sands my stay was effective enough.
Cons:Internet only in the lobby.
Pros:The house keeping staff was one of the most courteous I have come across, always getting and smiling.
Cons:The room itself looked like it was as add-on room, an afterthought, the entry door was flimsy, the bathroom door squeaked: WD40 goes a long way on all, the bed was comfortable. #109 Parking expensive, other hotels offer Free parking in the area.
