Staff was friendly and always helpful, rooms were clean and breakfast offered a lot of variety.

It is a bit further away from old town and could need some renovation. But the option of renting a bike for free makes it easy to get around.

Location was good; we were able to walk to the Old Town in less than 15 minutes. It was very near to the rice fields, so we were able to borrow hotel bikes and bike there one morning which was easy. Good local restaurants, cafes and convenience stores within a few minutes walk. Nice pool and spa facilities! I appreciated the complimentary 15 minute foot massage voucher given at check in - thank you!

There was a lot of miscommunication with the staff. We were originally told breakfast was from 7:00 until 10:00, but then it was changed (to 6:30 - 9:30) and we weren't informed. So when we arrived to breakfast at 9:40 they were already taking everything down. The next day, we arrived at 9:10 and they were also taking things down. So there was miscommunication with the breakfast staff for sure. We also had miscommunication with the housekeeping staff. We asked for our room to be cleaned and it was not. Frustrating! The room we stayed in could use an upgrade; it is showing signs of its age and did not look like the pictures on the website.

Stay was ok.

They moved us to a better room with a view to the swimming pool. Before we had stayed in a very dark room.

The staff not friendly, I had to argue to get a jar of drinking water otherwise they would ask me to go downstairs and refill it myself. Had to request help to move my luggage to the new room as it was not ready and they seemed not willing to do so unless we sounded demanding. At the end I was asked to pay extra % charge to pay with my card. The front desk woman got upset and asked me why I refused if everyone else did not complain. Quite rude and unpleasant time to check out for the guest!
