The room was comfortable and clean. There was beautiful wooden furniture, including a large wardrobe. The mini-bar was very reasonably priced. The staff was very polite.
The claim of "24 hour reception" was a bit dubious. After an afternoon check-in, I returned to the hotel at about 2 o'clock in the morning to find the courtyard blocked off by a metal fence. The fence made it impossible to walk from the street to the hotel. There was an empty security booth next to the fence, and a man who was presumably the security guard was asleep on lawn furniture about twenty meters away on the other side of the fence with a loud fan blowing at him. There did not appear to be any buttons for me to push or other means of opening the fence or getting someone's attention. I made a few telephone calls to the hotel which went unanswered. I shouted a few times in an unsuccessful attempt to wake up the guard. At this point, I examined the fence. It was clearly designed to keep out motor vehicles rather than people. It was about a meter and a half high, comprised mainly of diagonal metal bars, with nothing sharp or pointy. I decided that rather than making more noise and disturbing the neighborhood, my best bet was to climb over the fence. I was able to do so, although a client who was older or less athletic (or more inebriated) might not have found it possible. My landing, although not exactly stealthy, did not awaken the guard. I then proceeded to the front door of the hotel, which was unlocked. I found someone who was presumably the concierge asleep on the floor of the lobby. I went into the elevator and up to my room, where of course I was able to use my keycard to get in. Although this makes for a fun story, it was not quite the peaceful ending to the night that I was looking for. Although everything else about the hotel was great, this experience makes it highly unlikely that I would choose to stay there again.
Clean, convenient location for us to visit our son who in lives in same district. Breakfast outside eating area was nice. Reception staff friendly.
No room information telling us about facilities in hotel . Advertised as roof top bar, gym and restaurant but no information given to us or directions to any of these facilities. No shower cubicle and hard pillows in room. Booked 2 rooms, one of the rooms had no window. Breakfast in attached cafe, only vegetarian option was eggs.
