The breakfast was excellent, a wide variety of options, staff very friendly and accommodating. The attention to detail, endless smiles, warm responses, the staff could not do enough to please us. Most importantly, when transferring to the airport, I left my phone in the taxi. During my transfer back to the United States I was able to contact the hotel. The director/staff called the taxi driver and was able to retrieve my iPhone. The proceeding 5 days they helped me figure out how to ship my phone back to me, they took the time to research several shipping options, kept me informed at every stage. Today, I just learned the director was able to ship my iPhone via FedEx and just sent me an email letting me know. How wonderful!, they went far above and beyond to meet customer service. If you want a fantastic experience, I suggest you stay with them, sure glad I did.
Bed was comfortable, not as hard as most of the beds seem to be in Vietnam. Shower was ok too. Staff on reception were friendly.
Hotel was not clean, the toilet in the reception was particularly mucky. Breakfast was just ok, not as good as any of the other hotels we stayed in in Vietnam. Room had no view at all, was very dated. Only one light switch worked, no bedside lamps. Many guests, including ourselves seemed to have trouble checking out as the hotel's card machine was problematic. Allow plenty of time for checking out if you have a flight to catch, probably best to pay the balance by cash.
Clean and quiet, but nothing special.
Too expensive. There are similar or better hotels for a much lower price. Neighborhood is not that great, mostly surrounded by other overpriced hotels
Good service and impressive smile
Bed was nice, hot water and great shower and location very good, everything easily reachable by foot
When booking the room it said “city view” - so I expected a window but there was none (which is awful for me personally) and of course, when I asked for a room with a window they wanted to charge me a higher rate. Please then remove “city view” from room description as there literally is NO view, no daylight. Having a window in my room was one major criteria of booking that hotel! After the first night the cleaning wasn’t done very thoroughly, the floor wasn’t cleaned at all (and we are women, we lose hair ...) Breakfast is very Asian, not many options for Europeans (only toast, eggs, jam) thus 10$ is too expensive. The staff tried to make us pay extra whenever possible - I shared a (pre-booked!) Twin Room with a friend and had announced 2 guests and they still wanted to charge her for the room! Also we had bought water at the supermarket and left it in the fridge, hotel wanted to charge us because it was the same brand as theirs - counting the bottles showed we didn’t use their water, but it was still a discussion in an insisting tone I don’t expect from hotel staff! Don’t pre-book activities or airport transfer at the reception - they are much more expensive than getting tickets directly on site or book an Uber.
