Great position, once you can find it, near to the peace park
I was expecting a traditional Japanese ryokan but this was effectively a very budget hotel with mats for sleeping on. The rooms were like concrete boxes not the Japanese room I was expecting from the name. It is a very small hotel and very basic. The kettle in the room was probably the most up to date thing about it. It would be more honest to describe it as a cheap hotel room with Japanese sleeping mats.

Location was good, near the Peace Memorial Park. Room is small but very clean. Run by a lovely family, very friendly.
Room probably is a bit an the small side but it is not a problem to us as we only stayed for one night in Hiroshima and spent the day outside.

Loved the Japanese feel of the Ryokan. Staff were so great and I extended my stay due to the typhoon that hit and they quickly placed me in another room.
It was a little bit out of the centre of Hiroshima only a few kms out. But that's looking for faults.
