Nice and spacious room, great hospitality, feels like you're in the Belgian countryside.
Nothing but best to have a car as not close to amenities
I loved the hospitality, the setting and the fact that it was nearby Hasselt, but one can still enjoy the peacefulness of nature.
Fantastic setting. Excellent welcome by owner. Beautiful large room. Very nice individualised breakfast. Good explanations of what to do in the vicinity. very quiet area, good for resting. nicely decorated breakfast/living room which I used to do some personal work. Excellent atmosphere by welcoming hosts.
Fabulous building - full of character. I really liked it. Hard to go back to boring generic hotels afterwards. The breakfast was stunning - not the usual buffet style (bread cheese ham etc...) but a proper meal with a variety of exquisitely prepared fruits, breads, yoghurts etc... healthy, wholesome and delicious! The couple who own the hotel/B&B were very friendly and genuinely interested in helping - It really is a hidden gem.
They don't take credit cards - you will need cash.
