7.0 Good
Pros: Clean, spacious room and great staff.
Cons: Hard pillows!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, spacious, employees are polite.
Cons: Breakfast is complimentary so i really couldn’t complain. But the pool had a awful smell, not sure why that is but we were worried and didn’t stay in very long.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was very nice, some muffins would have been a good addition. Also, coffee available in the lobby throughout the day too. When I went to get a cup around 3:00 pm, it had 1/4 cup left over from breakfast.
Cons: We stayed 2 nights. We left the room at 7:00 am on our first day, and came back at 3:00. Our room had not been cleaned. I reported it to the front desk, they promised to take care of it. They never did. We had to ask for clean towels, and our garbage cans were overflowing. When we arrived it was raining, and there is no overhang or carport at the entrance, so we were rained on while unloading our car. Most hotels have that feature for the right reasons.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding service and staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly, very good breakfast.
Cons: The air conditioning was too loudy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The indoor swimming pool and how clean the pool was, the breakfast was very good, if I was to be picky I like bacon a lot better than sausage, but the breakfast was excellent. The employees were so nice and friendly and polite. The location is great right off the interstate. I have stayed there two times now and I love staying there, thank you for every thing.
Cons: Just bacon, hahaha.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the grounds were perfect. It was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. You are still only a hop skip and jump away from antique malls, caverns, shopping etc. You may find a more modern place but you won't beat the location. Planning on going back next year !

Pros: Everything was very clean. Restaurant convenient and great salad bar and value.
7.9 Good
Pros: I was not happy with the cost for breakfast.
Cons: A free breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We slept late and missed breakfast. I have Celiac disease and I travel with my own food. Even though the kitchen was closed when we checked out, the staff allowed me to use their toaster to make my breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds were beautiful landscape. The outside was so inviting. Southern hospitality . Pet friendly Very clean! Restaurant had great prices and good food. We swam in clean pool even in September when most hotels close pool right after Labor Day. We relaxed in there cozy jacuzzi outside and one in room. Best price in town.0
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast
Cons: Nothing!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I almost did not choose the Village Inn because it was not right on the interstate, but I’m glad I did. It only took a couple of minutes to get to and it brought back memories of yesteryear as it was originally a motor inn on the old US 11 before the interstate was built. But don’t let its age discourage you. It was completely updated and modern, and my room was super clean. There is a nice restaurant on site. Breakfast is not included with the room, but is inexpensive and worth the additional cost. I will definitely stay there again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: perfect for travelers with pets. So many pet friendly accommodations are closer to the Bates Motel than a pleasant nights stop. I look forward to stopping at the Inn.
Cons: N/A
7.9 Good
Pros: Clean room, hot shower, comfy bed, nice AC, good TV
Cons: Room had weird odor and everything felt sticky, coffee was blah. Walking outside in the morning and smelling strong cow manure - phew wee
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very large room and comfortable bed. The pool and breakfast were great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well maintained! In fact they were in the process of replacing carpet in some rooms and replacing single sinks with double sinks in some other rooms. Prices very reasonable.
Cons: Checked in after 10 pm and had to do it thru a phone and window. Guess for the safety of the night clerk.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, everything worked, clean rooms, quiet, efficient heating system, easy parking, plenty of hot water and great water pressure for showers. Breakfast buffet, which was an additional, although very reasonable, cost, was very good.
Cons: Nothing negative.

Cons: There were no towels in the workout room when I did my workout and the breakfast was only okay/ running out around 9pm.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location was quiet, easy to get to the interstate
Cons: Why they crammed others on a floor with a youthful sports team is beyond me. Doors are loud when they shut!
4.0 Okay
Pros: Not much. It was supposed to be a nicer hotel, but it was average at best.
Cons: The description said every room had a mini-fridge, microwave and sofa bed. There was not a sofa or even a chair in our room! It was literally the tiniest room I have ever stayed in. It was smaller than cruise ship staterooms! Absolutely ridiculous!

Cons: Hot tub was extremely hot. The down comforter was warm but really needed to be replaced as the down had clumped due to multiple washings and first impression of the bed was, it is lumpy. 9.4 Excellent
Cons: The breakfast was sub par. Need more protein items. The coffee was excellent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was very clean. Staff very friendly. Wooul definitely stay again.
7.5 Good
Pros: Clean, neat, nice crisp cotton sheets, plenty of towels, not a lot of interaction with staff (I like this, as I'm an introvert).
Cons: The bathroom was good because it had a disability-friendly, roll-in shower with a shower chair - and bad because the toilet was too low so hard for folks who need to transfer from wheelchair to toilet seat. And there was nowhere to put toiletries other than a small, narrow glass shelf. More storage space would have been good - the bathroom was a little no-nonsense and austere.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good rate and a nice pool. Goes to 8ft which is nice.
Cons: Walls do not block out noise from rooms beside you.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Although the room was small, it iwas well appointed and extremely clean. Had everything one would need. Nice breakfast.
Cons: I have no complaints , except the cost of staying in a hotel has gotten ridiculous.
7.5 Good
Pros: Room
Cons: Breakfast
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location for area activity
Cons: Bed was very uncomfortable... woke up bad back & neck discomfort...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was easy to find, the pool was wonderful. The room was great.
Cons: Nothing regarding the property was a bit frustrated as the reservation through booking was for a handicap accessible room, arrived at hotel and they said it wasn’t book that way. I clearly had a reservation. I showed the gentleman, he did apologize, and gave us a handicap accessible however it only had 1 queen bed, which made the sleeping arrangements not as expected. I was a bit disappointed as we had to put 3 adults in a queen bed. Kinda rough!

Pros: Location was good. Staff was friendly.
Cons: My bathtub wasn't clean. I had to clean someone else's hair out before I could use the shower. There was a wad of Hair on the bathroom floor. I thought that the floor was wet from mopping because there was some water in the bathroom floor. It turns out when I stepped in it the next morning that it was actually coming from a leaky toilet and not because the staff had mopped the floor as previously thought. When I turned the sheets back in the first bed there was hair, and what appeared to be possible sweat on the sheets from the previous occupant telling me that my sheets were not changed. Had it not been so late I would've went somewhere else. This was also one of the most expensive hotels in the area, but I stayed there because of the previous reviews that I read, and the location. I was disappointed in the room, and the fact this this hotel serves no breakfast, has no room service, and the small restaurant at the hotel has limited hours closing at 2pm. Would not stay here again. I was also charged to park.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The size of the room and the TV. It was close to the university my son attends. It had a bar and lots of seating area. The gym and pool were nice.
Cons: The bathroom door was a barn sliding door with no lock. You could see through side of it. There also was no comforter on the bed and my wife gets cool easily. No microwave. The parking garage was not attached and you have to pay for it.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. But most of all, it was quiet.
Cons: I was charged for breakfast even though it was included in my room rate. The staff member forgot to take it off and I had to contact them again about it. It took about a week to resolve. A little inconvenient.
6.3 Good
Pros: very good on and off access to I 81
Cons: I was placed in the room by the stairwell and there were young’s kids whom were noisy most of the night until around 1:30 a.m. I went to plug in my cell phone and found a condom wrapper behind the nightstand which made me question the cleanliness of the room. I attempted to share this with the desk agent when leaving. However she and another team member were talking, and they continued talking as I walked up to the desk, so I then left and didn’t share my issues
7.0 Good

Cons: Need better housekeepers. Room had hair, left over food from the guest before. Had recleaned and was still dirty. I shouldnt have to clean up others hair off bathroom floor to walk on it.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The cookies they give you are delicious, and the breakfast wasn't bad either.
Cons: They quote you one price and when you get there they add another $100 in case you order food or room service plus other hidden fees, the put bottled water in your room with a tag saying if you open it it's another $5 house keeping poured liquid out of a trash can into a plastic bag that had items that I had purchased in it and the worst part was there was a wash cloth folded up in the clean linens that looked like it had dried feces on it. They also had no liners in the trash cans, charged lunch to our room and and they don't even serve lunch. The pillows were hard and lumpy.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The rest of the staff, Alex and the front supervisor did everything they could to make my stay enjoy able
Cons: The assistant General Manager of the location Marquerite charged my bank card twice never said anything didn't apologize and come to find out never cancelled the transaction what was suppose to be a getaway for my birthday turned out terrible she refuse to let me check in i left my license in my car we car pooled since i booked thru a third party she acted as if i had a disease of some sort.she was very unprofessional unpleasant and not very friendly to my guest or myself

5.0 Okay
Pros: It met the need of a bed to sleep in and a/c worked.
Cons: Shower didn’t drain. Furniture in room looked very old and really worn. Walls and wallpaper peeling and bubbling. I have travelled all over VA in the last year and stayed in many hotels and Hampton Inn being a primary one. This would not be my recommendation to anyone.
1.0 Poor
Cons: Had dead bed bugs in king bed i booked. Asked to be reassigned another room, instead of getting similiar quality room (bug free)was assigned a room where shower was handheld with loose fittngs and tub had chunk out of tub and moved to 3rd floor.
7.9 Good
Pros: My family and I had just a short time to explore Shenandoah National Park and this hotel gave a great central location for our trip north. The hotel was close to restaurants and other amenities a family might need.
Cons: The bathroom was small and the shower didn’t drain very well. We were also only given 2 towels when 4 were registered to stay there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Met all expectations
Cons: not much- parking ;lot view? it was a late check in
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and the breakfast was good. The room was extra small, the toilet and shower were both wonky..... it just didn’t feel like a typical Hampton. Pool was nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I’ve got nothing bad to say. It was a great experience
5.4 Okay
Pros: The bed was ok, but noisy. It sounded like there may have been a plastic cover on the mattress.

7.1 Good
Pros: Location Parking Pet walk area Bathroom update
Cons: Refrigerator Bed
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Thought I was booking in Harrisburg, PA. Five minutes later I realized my mistake. When I called they told me no refund. No discussion.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The motel has been remodeled... we've stayed there on on trip to NC for about 8 years. The staff has always been very nice. It is a great place to stay if you are sleeping over. The rooms are neat and clean. There are no things like a pool or big breakfast, (there is coffee) but I wouldn't expect them at this cost. People can sit outside at tables on the nice lawn in front and there is also an outdoor shuffleboard area. Parking spaces in front of each room are large enough for big vans or pick up trucks. There are several restaurants nearby. It's a nice place to stay!
Cons: Could use a soap dish in the shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient location. Clean and comfortable.
1.0 Poor
Cons: There was a rat and bugs in my room.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: It was dirty. Hair (not mine) on the pillowcases, broken refrigerator, weak a/c, hair and dust all over the bathroom floor, no electrical outlet in the bathroom, no clip to hold hand-held shower head to wall, no iron, no hairdryer... just gross.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: The bathroom had hair on the sink and bathtub! I had booked 2 rooms. And both were very dirty and unclean! One of the comforters had food and other stuff stuck on them. And it was already hardened so that means it had been their for a good while! And we had 3 people in each room and there were only 2 washcloths and towels! I was very disappointed with everything!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect. Everything you would need in a 10 minute or less drive.
Cons: The A/C is kinda week as for keeping the room cool.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location, clean room
Cons: Shower wasn’t very clean and water pressure wasn’t great
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was a very large 1 story complex so easy to motor to your room and no need to park too far away and no need to go up stairs or take elevator. Room and hotel in general looked like it had just been refurbished. Very nice, and lots of property around to walk your dog. I noted they were renovating another detached complex and installing solar panels. There was no disrupting noise though, yea.
Cons: I did see some stains on bed spread.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The convenience of location and the cleanliness stood out.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Garbage still in trash cans. Flies and gnats in the room all night. Tiny bathroom.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Having a fridge in the room was nice to have if it worked properly. The room was reasonably large in size.
Cons: The location was somewhat hard to find. The bathroom was not clean. The tub and showerhead were visibly dirty which lends to assuming everything else was not clean as well. The fridge needs to be fixed because I put my drink in the freezer for 5 hours and it was just barely cool. The continental breakfast was abysmal. The muffins were stale and incredibly dry. A full breakfast with eggs and meats should standard fare for a prominent brand. This is a borderline average establishment with standards of mediocrity.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was clean and we were only there one night.
Cons: There was a building being constructed right next door so it was really noisy in the morning. Needs renovation, looks like an old Red Roof Inn and they changed the name.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Easy check in and friendly staff.
Cons: Smoke free room smelled of smoke. Burn mark was present on the edge of the tub. Outside stairwell was dirty and smelly......not a pleasant smell. It needs Lysol/ bleach cleaning and a paint job.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: No it was like sleeping in a ashtray
Cons: Dirty and it smells
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Break fast was very bad.. room floor was not even mop
7.1 Good
Cons: Stairs were dirty and breakfast wasn’t up to parq
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and friendly staff
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location was so close to everything.
Cons: The beds are not comfortable at all.
7.1 Good
Pros: Easy access to highway, gas and food!
Cons: The bed mattress & pillow not so comfortable; the bathroom was cramp, door to toilet very narrow.
7.1 Good
Pros: -Location was great. -Plenty of restaurants and gas stops within a few minutes of the hotel. -Easy on/off from I-81 -Pool was very nice and clean. -Hotel staff was nice, even with our late check-in. -Fridge/Freezer in room worked well and even the freezer worked, which isn't always the case in value hotel rooms.
Cons: -Bed was hard as a rock, so sleeping took some effort. I prefer a softer mattress but I can usually handle semi-firm ones, however ours was really difficult to sleep on. -Parking leaves a lot to be desired. The lot is shared with another motel right next door and another one is being built on the other side, so trying to find a space wasn't as easy as you'd normally expect. I suspect when that new hotel gets done it'll be even worse.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and the staff was very helpful. We where given a room on the first floor making it easy to access as I had sprained my ankle earlier in the day.
