9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was such a nice place. Close to town, but with a feeling of being away from it all. It was very peaceful. The owner couldn't have been more helpful.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Adorable two bedroom cabin with living room, wrap-around patio, full kitchen, and washing machine. Spotless and new- extremely comfortable. Lovely, quiet location about 15 min walk south of town. Perfect for families. Christophe is very kind and helpful, and his restaurant recommendations are spot on.
Cons: Like most establishments on the island, payment is in cash only- so it's best to come prepared. Banks are only open for a few hours in the mornings and not all cards are accepted at the ATMs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cabañas Christophe was a wonderful base for our five days on the island. Christophe is a wonderful, thoughtful, and caring host who is always asking how he can help. He provided a free guidebook to the island for us as well which was a wonderful touch. The cabañas is just outside the main town which is perfect. It’s quiet for sleeping at night and a reasonable walk in (plus there’s a great ceviche place a quick walk nearby). Overall we found it a great and comfortable stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable & spacious accommodation. Christophe is a good source of advice on exploring the island, collected us from the airport, gave us a guided tour of Hanga Roa and rented us a car.
Cons: The coffee.

Cons: Excelente location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host was really nice and very helpful.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very tasty and filling and the owner operator was very helpful with all my travel questions and concerns.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely spotless and extremely comfortable accommodation. Fully equipped kitchen with plenty of space throughout what seemed like a very recently built cabin. On arrival, Christophe was waiting at the airport and started with a quick drive around Hanga Roa to point out places of interest. Christophe was able to provide a car for the duration of my stay, at a reasonable rate. It's a couple of kilometers from the centre of Hanga Roa but unless the weather is bad it's a very simple walk. 25 minute walk also to the Moai at Ahu Tahai, where everybody needs to experience the sunset. WiFi worked without any issues. Easter Island overall exceeded all my already high expectations. It's very difficult to commit to returning again to a place so far away when there's a whole world to be seen, but I'd definitely love to experience that magical place once more and I'll plan to stay in Cabañas Christophe again if I can make that happen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location close to hiking trail and walks to the coast for sunset! Short drive to main part of town for restaurants and shops. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Christophe went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Highly recommend!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: This property was very clean and quiet. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast included eggs cooked to order, meats, cheeses, fruits, fresh fruit juice, toast, avocado and breakfast treats. The rooms have a small fridge in them. The rooms all have a sliding door that opens up towards the pool area. It was August when we stayed and no one used the pool but it was nice to lookout. You can walk here from the airport - it is about 2 blocks and there is a sidewalk which is made mainly of bricks - but it is still fine to roll your suitcase on. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available on request).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel grounds and the hotel itself is really beautiful. We were in a group of eight so we took up one whole house, as each house has four private rooms. The rooms were comfortable and we were relaxed and had an amazing time the full three days we were there. The food was great and we had breakfast there all three days and dinner twice. Our waiter was fun and attentive in the evenings and the breakfast staff were helpful as well. It is a buffet in the mornings but they brought us coffee and whatever other condiments we required. All restaurant staff were pleasant and very helpful. The ladies in reception were all helpful and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. Our entire group agreed that it was the most relaxing and beautiful places we have ever stayed at and we would stay there again if we should ever return to Easter Island. Well done!
Cons: Nothing. Maybe better lighting on the paths at night.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The rest of the hotel is OK with a nice pool. Not worth $400 per night
Cons: Just terrible internet access anywhere but the reception area where you need to sit outside and risk mosquitos and thus dengue fever. This is so unnessesary as extending WiFi directly to the rooms costs less than the $400+ room rate per night. Complaints to management met with complete indifference as they point to a disclaimer they make all guests sign. Very unprofessional.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, everything necessary was there without too much exaggerated fanciness, limited but excellent breakfast
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were very comfortable and had a nice common area. The food at the restaurant was excellent. The staff was great.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast!
Cons: Far away from town

Pros: Staff very kindly
Cons: Breakfast poor Very far from the international standards for its rate.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel is very pleasant........basic but funtional. The Bungalow is very nice and is spacious. Bathroom was very clean and spotless. Breakfast at teh Restauarant was very good with a good selection and plentiful. Hotel Reception was good and able to answer all questions. Hotel Transfer pickup was 4 houtrs before actual flight time which seemed rather excessive but when you see how small the Airport check in its worth getting there and processed and get out of the terminal and enjoy last of the Sun.
Cons: Th patio doors did not seem that secure which was a concern as when you closed one side the other side seemed to pop out. Took a little while to get to grips with how you amnaged to close both sides.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel if a little pricey. The staff were mostly very helpful and the breakfast and facilities were all of a high standard. They helped me organise my day trips etc but I would advise doing so far in advance and be aware emails can be slow to get responses.
Cons: After 11pm, reception closes and a security guard appears until 7am when it reopens. The guard was quite rude and unhelpful when I was waiting for the sunrise tour at 5.30am. They also run a shuttle to the airport but it will have you there 4hours ahead of your flight which is ridiculous when you see the airport. I ended up paying a taxi to bring me 2hours ahead of time and that was more than enough time.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Once at the hotel Javier at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful throughout my visit as were Rodrigo and the rest of the front desk staff. Room exceeded what I had envisioned. The pool was great. A restaurant facing the shoreline with outside seating was terrific made even better by Yuko, Phillipe and all the restaurant staff. Breakfast was adequate with the usual amenities.
Cons: Reception at the airport was somewhat chaotic through no fault of the hotel shuttle staff. As the tours were long and tiring, a few English speaking TV channels would have been nice as the wi-fi reception was spotty. While only a few blocks from the center of town, the terrain was somewhat difficult for a physically challenged individual like myself
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very close to town. The food and drink at the property was excellent. The breakfast buffet was very good. ATM nearby was a plus. Very friendly staff. I will stay here again on my next visit. Thank you!!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Javier and Rodrigo at the front desk were terrific. Friendly, helpful and accommodating. Entire restaurant staff including Yuko and Phillipe (both spoke good English) were wonderful. View of the ocean from the restaurant patio area was soothing and yet energizing. Room was somewhat more than I expected with a great shower and lots of hot water. Pool was protected from any offshore wind and very relaxing.
Cons: Wi-fi was spotty and after tiring day tours a few English speaking TV channels would have been nice. Free breakfast was average.

Pros: Hotel staff were extremely welcoming and attentive! What we loved about this place — aside from breakfast in bed, was the warmth with which we were greeted every day! They also went out of their way to lend us a thermos for our sunrise trip!
Cons: Location is a bit off — around a 30 min walk downtown — but all good once you rent a car (you can do so at the hotel at similar or better rates than the car rentals downtown)!

6.3 Good
Pros: The lady who has picked us up from the airport. She has spoken good English and was very welcoming and nice. Kitchen was well equipped and there was nice seats in front of the apartment. Location was ok, close to moai sunset.
Cons: The last day experience. We've asked for shuttle to the airport at 12:30 and then we've assumed that this will be the time we need to leave the room by, as no-one said anything else, and the information was not in any visible place. When we've came back to the cabin at 11 (checkout turned out to be till 10) we found a note that cleaning service need access to the room. When we've asked the owner if it would be possible to use the kitchen for another 20 m to cook the food we had we were asked to pay 120 USD if we would like to stay till 12 or leave immediately. As 120 USD is a price for the whole day we've chosen the latter and were forced to throw away quite some food straight to the bin. Cleaning lady took another 10 minutes at least to arrive. There were also 2 cockroach-like 1.5 inch long bugs in the room.after the first night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality and friendliness of the facility. Airport pick up and drop off.
7.9 Good
Pros: Lovely welcome at the airport with fresh juice and traditional cake in cabana. Very informative map and tourist information given on arrival. Kitchen was good. Restaurants are very expensive so having a kitchen is good for those on a budget. Bought fresh tuna at a stall on the Main Street in the morning and cooked it for dinner. Very helpful staff.
Cons: More attention to detail would improve cabanas. Several items missing or faulty in our cabana. Floor needed cleaning. Thicker curtains to keep out street light.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, friendly personal, cleanliness, big room and fully equipped
Cons: Electrical wiring, personal didn't speak English.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: With own kitchen. And there are cats and chickens outside of kitchen. We experienced a wonderful wide life there.
Cons: No wifi in the room, also weak at the reception. We stayed for 6nights, but there is one day has no electricity and hot water.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: I'm very happy with my stay at the Hanga Roa Eco Village. The property and my room were exactly as they'd appeared in all the photos. The location was even better than I'd hoped, providing a sense of distance and peace, while at the same time being within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and much beauty. When I'm on vacation, I indulge in the luxury of eating at whatever time I feel like, so it was lovely to have a cafe/bar on the property that had long hours and continual service. Everyone I met was friendly, and I was grateful for the number of English-speakers on staff. I absolutely feel that I made the right choice when I chose this as my place to stay on Rapa Nui.
7.9 Good
Pros: It’s a beautiful property, close to the ocean and to the downtown area. The breakfast and restaurants are fairly good and not severely overpriced.
Cons: Lack of service- management here has a real opportunity to institute a service culture. The staff here generally lack this, which is unforgiving for a self proclaimed luxury hotel. Every time I ask for help, they seem exasperated and certainly do not go out of their way to help. For example, when I asked if they could help push my spa appointment by 30min, the receptionist told me to talk to the spa directly and claimed they are still open when they are closed. Also, the restaurants seem quite under-staffed, especially during breakfast buffet. The workers are definitely hustling but quite overwhelmed, esp when you have a tour group.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff including in the spa. Nice island cuisine in the restaurants. Special local dishes with local ingredients. Little touches were lovely - A small MOAI figure and pretty local shells on departure. Interesting and innovative local features woven into the building fabric - rounded walls, tree trunk supports, grass on the roof. This provided a unique touch.
Cons: Shower too cold especially as this is not a tropical island. Looked forward to a bath after a day spent trekking to find MOAI but it was freezing. More cultural events and sense of linkage to living Rapa Nui communities would be enriching.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent rooms and friendly, professional and available staff. View and closeness to town good. Free transportation to and from the airport. Free glass of wine each evening at sunset. Facility is spotless.
Cons: No televisions, internet is to slow to stream and goes out. To be fair , my understanding is the entire island has some issues.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Minimal towels Dirty paveways inside property
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location of the resort and the island
Cons: Nothing in particular
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I loved the spaciousness of my room the style and the deco. I did not like not having a tea kettle and coffee machine in the room as with jet lag I was often awake at night and it would have been nice to get a cup of either tea or coffee to not feel so hungry. The hotel is a little away from the city but still quite manageable by foot. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. The first 6 days I had to listen to the same music over and over again as they did not have anything else. After telling them about it though they managed to find something else. They also provided me with a tea kettle on the 7th day of my 10 day stay. Generator humming at night can be a little loud and internet is spotty which helps disconnect but can be quite inconvenient at times...
Cons: The fact that the staff from the spa was not helpful and never let me know that I could use the sauna during my stay. After walking about 220 kms in 9 days it would have been nice to have access to stretch in the heat. The controversy with the local population accusing the hotel of wrong doing and protesting with big graffitis boards all around the propriety is an eye sore.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Very good breakfast.
Cons: The bathroom and shower inside the room, also the shower cab was not comfortable and the bathtub impossible to use without spilling water on the floor. Room cleaning failed.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a lovely hotel on the outskirts of this small town, 15 min walk from the airport and 20 min walk from the city center, a bit farther - from other key places of interest. The staff is more than helpful. Speaking of breakfast, I would recomment Iberico (to be ordered beforehand), very delicious and nicely served, and not recommend continental breakfast.
7.1 Good
Pros: Isolated. Big confy bed
Cons: Far from the center. Difficult to find. Off a dirt road
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Good price/ quality factor.
7.0 Good
Pros: To far from center
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and personal staff.
Cons: Google maps directions to the place. The first choice route sends you to a dead end very close to the hotel. From the airport, if you take the first right off Tu'u Koihu on to Pont gets you there.
7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff. Well furnished room and nice terrace. Close to the airport - walking distance.
Cons: Slow wifi, worked for very basic stuff only. There are some cocks and chickens around so it was very noisy since early morning. Not happy with the housekeeping. They touched every single item we had in the room and moved it somewhere else. They threw away some things we were planning to use - soap, tissues, bottles, plastic bags for shoes and cosmetics. They opened all windows that we closed in the morning for security reasons. We got new towels after first night even though the used ones were hanging on the racks - we didn't need them, it's not ecological at all. Plus there's no "Don't disturb sign", so the housekeeping is coming anyway.
5.0 Okay
Cons: No 24 hr receptions not best location if you don't have your own transportation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the roosters (wake up service) very much.
