Reviews about Snowlines Lodge Hakuba
“Third time staying in Hakuba. By far the best experience. Stephen as host and Lodge manager is all about getting people fed and up to the slopes, as well as accommodating the apres style in their impressive bar/lounge area. He ensured every detail of our trip was seamless, from airport pickups, to dinner bookings, to luggage transport. Cannot recommend highly enough. Will be back!”
“Stephen was very accommodating with lifts to the snow fields, the snow monkeys and to the train station when we left as there were 16 of us. He also arranged our dinners each night when we had to eat out and gave us some great advice when we asked for it. The onsens were wonderful after a full days skiing and the accommodation was pretty close to everything.”
“The Snowlines Lodge is located in Echoland which is closest to the Happo One mountain and there are also a number of restaurants/shops which are only a short 5 minute walk away. It's reasonably well located and a close 3min drive to the Hakuba Bus Terminal which is how most people arrive from Nagano. A highlight of Snowlines would be the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Steve and his wife were wonderful hosts giving us tips on which restaurants to try and were happy to answer any questions we had about getting around. The provided breakfast each morning was a great way to start the day and then jumping on the shuttle where Steve would bus groups of guests to either the Northern or Southern mountains in the Hakuba valley was excellent. The lodge had very handy facilities including a drying room, onsen and on-site bar (although we didn't get the chance to try it out as we went out most nights). Our room was nice and roomy, always warm and really had everything we needed, thanks for a great stay Snowlines!”
“The owner was very helpful with information about the goings on in the Hakuba valley and when my ski boot was damaged he was ready to take time to help me fix it. Don't miss Nabe night, delicious !”
“Steve and staff were extremely helpful and friendly”
