Pros: Very pleasant host, good collection of Music disc. Close to seaside, with view in the room. I was even touched when she was on her knees and said goodbye and so in Japanese when I left.

Pros: Amazing stay! They had vintage video games and you could win free beer. The furniture was carefully curated with beautiful conversation pieces all throughout the guesthouse. The cleanliness was exceptional! To say the staff was friendly is an understatement. They welcomed us to a BBQ the guesthouse was having for dinner and it was a wonderful experience. The view from the guesthouse is amazing!! The host was also willing to drop us off at the local train/bus station. You should ABSOLUTELY consider staying here if you are in Hakodate! What a great time!!

Pros: Very kind and helpful host (and cat!) and lovely interior (kind of a fusion between traditional Japanese rooms and Western vintage look). The common facilities are clean and adequate. In the vicinity of the hostel you can find an onsen, the sea and smaller hiking trails.

Pros: The best guest house in Hokkaido! The place is very comfortable and cozy, with lots of very cool vintage furnitures and an amazing collection of vinyl albums! The view to the ocean, as well as the room, are simply beautiful. The owner was very generous and kind, providing all the necessary information and more. Shoko was so keen to help in any way possible - she even gave me a vegan cookie she made, and helped me catch my ferry early in the morning! I would definitely come back if I'll be in Hakodate again

Pros: Sooo welcoming and such a nice house! Best stay in Japan with this super host! If you have time you should book 2 nights or you will be disappointed as i was because the guesthouse was full and i could not extend. When i will go back to Hokkaido I will definetly go back there.

Pros: The owner is the sweetest person I've met so far during my Japan trip. She is really caring, helpful and a very happy person. I would recommend this guest house to everyone because it truly feels home-like. Arigatou!!
