Pros: The staff at the hotel are super friendly and welcoming, as is everyone we have so far met in Nicaragua really. The room is big and comfy, with aircon! and the pool area is nice to relax by. Also, best granola ever :)
Cons: The door leading to our balcony, which is on the street, is not at all sound proof so if you're a light sleeper this may be a problem as from about 5/6 am it starts getting busy out.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views, style, smoothies, kayaks, massage, service!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, good food and the place is amazing. The fish they serve for dinner is a must, you have to order in the prior day in order to get a fresh pescado from the lake. Delicious.
Cons: The tree-top rancho #1 is not the best room. It is very simple, a bit hot and you will hear a lot of noise from the staff at 6am because it’s too close to the kitchen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Out of this world location and view, all amenities you need for a dreamy stay

Pros: Las isletas is a dream, located on their on island, beautiful design, amazing breakfast, you can rent kayaks anytime you want and have an amazing view over the mombacho volcano! We would definitely come back!
Cons: Food is a little pricy, since it is an island they have to bring everything there. On the first evening we had a fish from the lake that tasted really muddy. But the rest of the food was very tastefull!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Martin is an excellent host and made our stay just perfect. Food (especially ceviche and the ratatouille) was really outstanding as well as the way Martin and his team treated us. On our arrival day my boyfriend didn’t feel good so Martin made a recovery tea out of the natural ingredients on the islands garden. The best medical treatment- and once again: outstanding service! Thank you!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for 4 nights. Everything was great. The breakfast. The shower. The beds. The pillows. The cleanliness of the place and rooms. The staff. The location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The owner was super nice with us. We were concerned about the last disturbs in Nicaragua and the owner answered our e-mails so quickly and was so helpful and nice with us. The hotel is amazing. It is not a big hotel so it is pretty familiar but at the same time it is a high standard hotel. So it is the perfect combination. Seriously one of the best stays in my whole life. I will recommend this place to everybody.
Cons: Nothing. Seriously we were amazed to be there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful hotel in the middle of Granada. The hotel is exceptionally well kept and beautiful. I really enjoyed swimming in the pool and enjoying delicious cocktails prepared by the friendly bar staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: They upgrade me to a better room for the same price of a standard room if I pay cash. Cosy and modest colonial-feel hotel. Tucked away in a side street yet just a few mins walk to main square. Tasteful decoration everywhere. Good wifi, nice breakfast. Free water to fill your bottle. Many day trip options
Cons: Pick up from Managua cost US 40 which is rather expensive. You can get a private taxi to managua or the airport in travel agencies at US 25. Be prepared for little insects as the hotel has open space.
7.9 Good
Pros: This hotel is picturesque and perfectly located in Granada. Walk a block in any direction and you hit everything you want to do in Granada. The staff is accommodating and helpful. Enjoy the pool, hammocks, and the bars specialty drinks.
Cons: The breakfast is the same every day and the bed is very very firm. The rooms are a bit small. Hot water for showers only comes after a long wait. Even with these issues I still feel good recommending this hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing variety of fruit for breakfast, never seen anything like it. Staff were particularly helpful in organizing things.
Cons: What's not to like.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, spotless room. Extraordinarily nice and very obliging staff and owner. On arrival, we thought that breakfast was included but were told that they would have to charge us for it. Without us asking for it the staff talked it over with her manager and let us know that they would indeed serve us breakfast at no extra costs. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. You can choose from different options, we had pancakes and fruits with yogurt and granola. Also, across the street is a hostel through which you can book same day tours, such as night excursions to the Masaya volcano, which happened to be extremely convenient for us. We had the impression we were the only guests in the hotel and they treated us with special attention to make our stay as satisfying as possible. After political troubles in the past months, tourists are still rare in a country that is largely dependent on tourism. Visit Nicaragua and you will be welcomed with open arms.
Cons: Nothing apart from closeness in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was very good
Cons: I like everything there was!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything .. the comfortable rooms, the friendly and attentive staff, the food prepared to order. We were also given great advice on what sights to see in and around Granada.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: I didn't like the fact that when I booked my room with booking.com, your website only showed 2 queen rooms available. When I arrived at the hotel there were only 2 guests staying at the hotel, and many junior suites with king beds were available. This was very misleading, and I will always xcall the hotel from now before reserving a room with booking.com
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room, and in fact the entire hotel is truly breathtakingly beautiful. My room, a junior suite, had fine historic hardwood furniture, beautiful tall ceilings, a private balcony with french doors overlooking the Iglesia La Merced, very comfortable king size bed with a thick American style mattress and powerful air conditioning. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff was friendly and very professional. The common areas, from the restored historic grand marble staircase to the small courtyard swimming pool were truly gorgeous. The included breakfast, served in the courtyard was the basic traditional rice and beans, eggs, fruit, toast, and coffee. This building is a work of art and obviously a labor of love for the family that recreated it entirely from the ground up around the original mansion's Italian marble staircase.
Cons: This was such an exceptionally good experience that there was very little too not like, but I will note that the shower was not hot and the wifi in the room was weak.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, great options for breakfast as well. Beds are very comfortable. Pool was great! I would definitely go again,
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location.
Cons: N/a
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff is wonderful, they help you 24hours around the clock. Any problems you have they will solve it. The hotel is always clean. I recommend sit by pool inside the hotel and stare up at the stars at night, beautiful sight to see and Cool Breeze. When I visit Nicaragua again I would definitely stay at Hotel Real La Merced again.
7.1 Good
Pros: Gorgeous building, rooms, & location.
Cons: Got lucky finding parking right in front.. could have been alot worse.. also online it said english was a language used, although only one receptionist spoke english.. very minor complaint.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was a beautifully renovated old colonial house with a courtyard and pool in the middle. The rooms were modern, comfortable and clean with good Air conditioning. The bathroom was large and modern with hot water. The hotel employees were so friendly and did everything they could to make our stay a good one. We were even given a free yoga lesson by the pool which we really enjoyed. The pool was incredible after a morning of sightseeing as it was so hot walking around the city. The internet also worked really well throughout the whole hotel. The hotel is located next door to the beautiful Iglesia La Merced church and close to everything else there is to see in Granada. We felt really safe here and wish we could have stayed longer.

5.0 Okay
Cons: the room was expensive for its facilities .I had a delux room with a kitchen and there was only one knife,no spoons ,no glasses ,no forks.the cleaner cleaned only the room not the balcony, the breakfast was 10 choises all about the same but food was awful every day overburnt and tasteless, but the worst was reception girl .she tried to get more money telling that i should pay for parking when i didnt park at the hotel.she didnt give a receipt and when i asked she gave me apiece of paper handwriten
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Awesome location. Close walk to the center of Granada, with many nearby restaurants. The facility itself was beautiful, full of plants, flowers, beautiful design and a small pool that was quite clean. The rooms had air conditioning, the Wifi worked well. The restaurant is cute with a tapas menu and a full bar. My sister and I had a night cap there (almost overnight) and we played dominos/cards in which the restaurants has a game shelf in which you can choose from. The included breakfast was great, recommend the huevos rancheros. Friendly and helpful staff.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It’s a beautiful little hotel in a great location and a very helpful staff
Cons: It’s a bit noisy especially on the weekends with the bar in the hotel. Also, many of the windows aren’t covered so the room can be bright in the morning or with the lights outside at night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Creative menu... presentation of food
Cons: Didn’t find anything we didn’t likehope
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Gardens. Walking distance to downtown sites. View of the church.great breakfast. Great massage place 300 meters away.
Cons: Room was a bit dark making the space feel a bit small. "Classic-wood furniture"
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very charming and a little oasis in the heart of Granada. The pool was perfect for cooling off in the afternoon. The staff were all wonderful.
Cons: The tours organized by the hotel were fine but not great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect- just far enough from the Central Park so it is peaceful, but also near a few great restaurants and sites. The staff was amazing. We interacted mostly with Grethell and she was so helpful and sweet. The space is so beautiful with a lush garden, nice swimming pool and picturesque terrace on the roof. The breakfast was also a great perk- fresh, filling and quite delicious! We really enjoyed our stay here and would gladly stay again if we happen to pass through Granada on another trip.
Cons: Not one negative thing to say here!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast fine, pool great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lov d this hotel. Would definitely return.
Cons: Nothing.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room is nice. Also, I like the pool.
Cons: What I did not like is that they did not have more Gallo Pinto at 8am, and I asked the waitress if they'd cook more and she said no, so I ate Los huevos rancheros without beans and rice, just bread and a small slice of avocado. Then at 9am they were serving Gallo Pinto again.

Pros: Nice play to stay for the price, and a good location.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel had a good location. The hotel itself was nice, the room was comfortable, huge bed and warm water. Breakfast was fine and the staff prepared it quickly for us, so we would be able to be on time for our shuttle.
Cons: The was a huge group in the hotel of younger kids, they were quite noisy.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has a nice pool, a beautiful garden setting, helpful staff, and is located only a couple blocks from the town square. We especially appreciate the services of their driver Lupe, who got us safely to/from the airport during a time of anti-government protests and road blocks.
Cons: We were disappointed that dinner wasn't available from the restaurant.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Frankly we didn't have any expectations from this hotel, and this was good, since we fell absolutely in love with it! It is a colonial building with an amazing patio inside, and even a pool! The room was simple but cosy and had everything one needs for a comfortable stay (including a hairdryer). The hotel offers a nice breakfast (eggs or pancakes).
Cons: There is no parking in the area, so we had to leave the car in front of the hotel to our own risk (but everything was eventually fine)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The pool
Cons: They only had 3 options for a meal, no menu !
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location is nice in the center.
Cons: Ambiance is rather boring, facilities are outdated and tired. Didn't have hot water for two days in the room. Rowdy crowd.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The place is gorgeous - like staying in someone’s well designed home. Large spaces, with intersecting but pared back decor - it could be straight out of a design magazine. Every angle and nook and cranny has places to relax and chill out. Very calm and zen like atmosphere. Our suit on the second floor was large with a small terrace overlooking the pool and the volcano in the far off distance. Staff are friendly, kind and efficient.
Cons: It wasn’t a problem for us but it’s slighly out of the centre of town (10 minute walk). On the flip side, it’s in a quiet area.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Superb Boutique Hotel. Beautiful place right in the middle of Granada. Very nice staff. Cooling pool and great design. You can the owners got. taste. Lots of lovely details make this place special.
Cons: I got mosquito challenges...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good crew. Private, secure facilty. No more then four block walk to the downtown stuff. Good WiFi. Nice common area.
Cons: Ran into a few nasty mosquitos In the early evening.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very small hotel - only 5 rooms - and thankfully no-one else staying the first night so we were able to relax in the pool side loungers after coming back from dinner in Granada. We stayed in Room #5 - the upstairs suite which afforded us a view of Mombacho Volcano and some of the local church spires. Nice that we had a small balcony but too hot to sit out during day. Bathroom was gigantic with a monstrous tub. A/C worked very well in bedroom alone.
Cons: King bed was just a not-too-thick mattress lying on a wooden slat bed frame. 2 small wooden folding chairs were all there was to sit on in the room apart from the bed. We knew it was a modern design hotel but this was somewhat on the spartan side. Because of the inner courtyard with pool layout there is the potential for noisy groups of people drinking (wine and beer available for purchase from poolside fridge). The rooms were immediately at the end of the pool and noise was bouncing off the concrete interior walls. Noise was also coming in from the adjoining streets. Even though we thought we were in a quiet part of the city, it turned out not to be that quiet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning and tranquil, Los Patios was on a quiet street in the centre of town, ideal for exploring Granada. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in Nicaragua. The staff were charming and incredibly helpful. One of the most cleverly designed and decorated hotels I’ve stayed in.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Really kind and helpful cleaning staff. They only spoke Spanish and had to check me in to the odd room and all with absentee proprietors. Good breakfast too.
Cons: Super odd rooms. No windows on most, cavernous in size, we’ll decorated but not cozy. Old building in need of upgrades. I wouldn’t pay more than $30 for the rooms... including breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, nice staff, great breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms. Nice breakfast. Quiet.
Cons: Showers had very little hot water.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Staff was great
Cons: No where did it indicate I'd need to climb about 20 very steep step to get to my room. No staff to help with bag. What a shock. I'm 76 years old. This was a problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent. They went over and above to accommodate us and assist with anything we needed. Our room and the staff helped make our experience in Granada unforgettable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room that has it's own style. there was no water in Granada on the day when I arrived so it was great to have a pool. I had a nice and comfortable stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome location, staff and facilities! We felt right at home here, and very well looked after! Just wish we could speak more Spanish to communicate with all of the staff, as they seem very lovely people, but don’t all speak lots of English. We were able to call the hotel manager anytime though, on his cell phone and deal with any question or concerns, so all was really amazing!
Cons: Just need some hooks to hang wet bathing suits and towels maybe??
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the action but on a quiet street. Rooms were large. Great staff. Tasty breakfast.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: Breakfast not included and only average.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Center of old ciry walking for 1 minute.. Even if too late check-in, so kindness receptionist were there. and good safe parking inside the hotel. No regulation of vehicle height
Cons: Nothing at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful courtyard with a nice pool, very clean rooms, hospitable staff that are happy to give advice, call taxis, assist you in any way they can. Delicious fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, and bread for breakfast!
Cons: The location is not in the main downtown area, about a 10 minute walk or $2 cab ride home. Honestly made for a nice and quiet stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We prearranged with staff for a driver to pick us up at the Ticabus station, and bring us to the hotel. The driver was punctual. Check in was a breeze. Anna made a delicious breakfast each morning and the pool provided a refreshing break from the heat. The location was a short and safe 10 minute walk to the main sights/areas of Granada. It was also a short walk for groceries (Maxi Pali, La Colonia or La Union).
Cons: We had suite 209 which is actually at the rear of the property and stands apart from the main building containing the other suites. It does not overlook the pool nor have a balcony or outside seating area. The neighbourhood noises started fairly early in the morning. However, the one bedroom suite was huge, clean, had warm showers, a well stocked kitchen and great air conditioning and fans.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and the bed could not be more comfortable. Tania and Michelle (manager) were both lovely. Thank you!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Lovely pool. Great location.
Cons: Room was quite small and dark. Bar severely lacking in drinks options.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the place. Fell in love with the apartments and the set up. The team was so accommodating and were very attentive. One of the best places to stay in Granada. The location is not the closest to the livelier part of the city, but it’s great when you want a break from the noise.
Cons: Only thing would be if perhaps a couple more breakfast choices. But I suppose it matters more when you stay more than 2 days and want variety.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facility is excellent. The staff were very attentive. The breakfast most representative of the Country, with a variety of fruits, drinks, and the usual eggs to order.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We cooked our own breakfast after grocery shopping. The kitchen and stove were excellent.Ample pots pans etc.
Cons: Sorry to say there was nothing I didn't like.We arrived at 2a.m.I was booked for 3p.m...13 hours later that day.1 phone call and the girl arrived from her home, probably asleep 10 minutes later and graciously set us up and made sure everything was good.I was very impressed with the service.I really have no complaints no matter how hard I try.Thank You again !!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Melisa the manager was amazing, from welcoming us to walking us to the local farmers market, showing us around, putting us in contact with people, helping them us find supplies after our luggage was lost by the airline. She is an asset to the place and such a lovely helpful lady, she couldn’t have done anymore for us. The staff at the hote Are also very nice and helpful especially the breakfast/ cleaning ladies. A great spot, out the way, yet easy walking disnarce. Lovely accommodation, great size and facilities, lovely pool. My one suggestion would be that they shut the gates to the property as whilst your on your balcony or in the pool etc you feel as if anyone can walk in, I didn’t like that about the hotel common space.
Cons: As above closed the gate to create a sense of privacy and cleaned the toilet bins every day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff. Location was quiet and yet close enough to the main plaza for easy walking. Suites are lovely, worth the additional cost.

6.7 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Did not trust the owner. Breakfast was included when booked. First day it was denied. After negotiations , it was provided. Price of a fruits in a bowl was charged at menu price. Next day they charged me double the price. Nothing goes up double the menu price in one day!!!.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: this perfect place..!!
Cons: nothing.
5.7 Okay
Pros: We didn't like much. The courtyard was nice.
Cons: $70 a night for cold showers and a broken a/c with uncomfortable beds. A little disappointed. The cold showers are not really a big deal as that is pretty standard. They did however advertise a/c and it just blew normal outside air. Using a credit card was a pain. The owner doesn't know how to use the cc machine so had to call a friend just to input the amount. Not impressed at all.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely little pool area, nice rooms, bathroom massive and nicely designed (except shower quality was poor). Only stayed one night and it was perfect for our needs.
Cons: Quite strict on the check in time. They might let you in to the room an hour or two early but won't give you the AC remote until 3pm on the dot. Just something to know if you plan on turning up earlier in the day as I wouldn't say this was usual. Breakfast very basic.
7.1 Good
Pros: Beautiful building with great potential
Cons: From the moment we arrived, staff tried to make us book more nights. The room was shabby and there wasn't warm water in the shower. The internet didn't work in the room, only closer to the router. In the morning staff didn't believe that we had breakfast included and when I proved it, they gave me 2 dry pieces of toast and one fried egg. If the low price was a promotion, it wasn't worth it. We found really nice places with pool and AC for 30 dollars that were a lot better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the center and kind studf
Cons: Stuff
9.6 Excellent
Pros: All was super!!!
Cons: Little bit small bett.We are big.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel style
Cons: Mice
7.1 Good
Pros: Beautiful common areas, and good breakfast.
Cons: Pillows were lumpy, shower was not hot, tub sprayer did not work, and tiles were falling off in the bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A short walk to main attractions Colonial feel and look Beautiful gardens
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The food was wonderful. It is within walking distance of everything in the city center, the cathedrals, great restaurants, the city market, etc.
Cons: Nothing that is not common to things I miss at home no matter where I travel outside the US i.e. food service is just a little slower, etc. That happened everywhere we went though.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location was ideal in Granada. Price was the cheapest in the area. Lobby staff were friendly Has a pool A/c worked well
Cons: Cleanliness wasn't that great. Bed #2 was a super thin mattress over wooden bed. Very uncomfortable if you are an adult. Water pressure was almost always super low. We had to wait 12 hours to get towels, only a single sheet on beds, no soap, shampoo, or conditioner in the rooms. You are supposed to pay $5 a night to some guy that "watches the cars at night" Since it is "mandatory" and not an optional tip then it should just be added to the price of the hotel.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location close to Granada’s main square, next to restaurants and stores. Is a beautiful house, clean and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons: Everything was excellent.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I love the way you step from a city street into a beautiful little oasis. The pools are awesome too!
Cons: Beds are a little hard for my liking.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The gardens/pools inside the hotel are beautiful with their flowers and the architecture and style is pleasant. The hotel is located just some 40 metres from the central park/main square, yet far enough for guests not to be disturbed by the comotion of the central square.
Cons: My room was located on the same level and next to the path guests had to take to get to their rooms so unless I kept the curtains in front of the window, I was very much exposed to other guests while in the room. The room (number 4) was facing a hotel bar, so compared with other rooms, the view was not very nice.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The pool was very enjoyable, having a swim up bar. If the pool was too busy, the hotel has a second one to check out.
Cons: We enjoyed everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing pool area.
Cons: No view from room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff and the services they provide. They picked me from managua late at night in a very nice vehicle and I felt completely safe. Julian arranged for your services with a very knowledgeable tour guide named Wilfredo Guamamuz. I recommend both of those young men to drive you around and provide tour services!!!☺️
Cons: That I didn't stay longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff, breakfast and the design! Big big plus!
Cons: All was good
7.5 Good
Pros: Size and amenities in the room. Art work and the many pictures everywhere. Two pools plants and pottery everywhere. The services was fantastic. Location only 30 metres from central city square and near central street with night life entertainment and great food.
Cons: There was no safe in our room.
10.0 Excellent

4.2 Okay
Pros: It was in another building, not in the Hotel.
7.9 Good
Pros: The colonial style architecture and breakfast
Cons: That I had to request the coffee for the coffee machine the 3 days and 2 nights I stayed there
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: This was our honeymoon and we paid extra for a gauranteed upgraded room, not only did they not give us an upgraded room but they moved us to three different rooms including one at another hotel in a sketchy location for the three nights we were there!! On day one they even had the nerve to go into our room and take all our things out without telling us. It was invasive and embarrassing. They told us that Univision was filming or the water filter was broken or that someone had overstayed. Many different versions of lies when it was obvious they had just overbooked their hotel. They gave us a free half hearted dinner to "compensate" for all this but this remains one of the worst customer service experiences of our lives.
5.0 Okay
Pros: This hotel pulled a bait and switch on us... suggesting we had made a reservation for their "other property" (clearly we had not) but they could put us up in the main building for one night ... but then we would have to move. Ridiculous. And still charged the same rate for a much much much lesser property and room.
Cons: Everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: staff was very friendly and nice. Everybody in the hotel was exceptional, specially Juan in the hotel restaurant and, Auxiliadora in the front desk.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The included breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff and great location next to Parc Central. Lovely courtyards.
Cons: We were placed in the overflow building 1 block from main hotel. Breakfast was in main hotel. The room was still good sized and clean but I don’t know how rooms compare to main building.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: the staff 100%
Cons: the price was a little high but it is in the centre . the staff were amazing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old building right in the heart of Granada. Easy to pop back and have a nap or a dip in the pool when it got too hot outside! Nice clean room with a big comfortable bed.
Cons: Some of the facilities are showing a little wear and tear, but nothing out of the ordinary for an old building.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: You can't go wrong with a stay at La Gran Francia. The property is beautiful and in a perfect location. The staff is helpful friendly and professional.
Cons: The pool was out of order but we did not mind much.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very central location. Morning breakfast included was delicious and convenient.
Cons: Never had hot water in the room. The AC worked well however is noisy when sleeping
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: Swimming pool was dirty and unusable and showers were cold. Very expensive for what you get

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner and the rest of the staff is super friendly and helpful - with anything and everything you need. They made my stay very comfortable. Facilities are sufficient, the room is spacious, 5-8min walk to Calle Calzada. Good value for the price.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely nice and accommodating during the duration of our stay. We needed to take an early taxi in the morning and the staff woke up early to prepare us a breakfast and hail us a cab. The location is right on the water near an beautiful park but a little bit outside of the main city center.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a great time ... i anjoy our aniversery...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and smiley. The hotel was quiet and we had a good night sleep . There was safe and secure parking for our car. The bathroom was clean, with a big shower, toiletries, a hairdryer and towels. Checking in and out was very easy. The hotel was right next to the lake. There was a small gym with a treadmill and weights which was free to use- this was definitely a bonus!
Cons: There was no restaurants nearby and we had to get a taxi to the centre in the evening so that we could eat. The hotel did not have any kitchen for guests and there was no where to purchase food. We were under the impression that breakfast was available however there were no food facilities so we couldn't even get a coffee in the morning and there wasn't even drinking water.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Poor hot water
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location: El Maltese is located across a street from a park area that fronts Lake Cocibolca, offering cool breezes and a great view. Just a few blocks from the tourist strip of restaurants and bars, you are close, but far enough away to escape the noise and lights. Rooms: The rooms are recently updated and larger than most in this price class. Lots of counter space in the bathroom, along with amenities such as soap, shampoo, a make up mirror and a hair dryer. Big shower with a "rain" showerhead and hot water. Excellent wi - fi and good A/C. In addition to a large closet, there is also an armoire in the room. A large flat screen TV with lots of channels is on the wall. The room comes with a dorm refrigerator for your drinks and leftovers. On top of all this, breakfast is included. The breakfast, including eggs, fresh fruit, great coffee, gallo pinto, maduro and juice, was not only tasty, but so ample that I didn't eat again until dinner time. The room windows have shutters on the outside as well as curtains. At bedtime, the room is dark, quiet and cool; great for a good night's sleep. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons: Parking space is limited. I arrived on a motorcycle, so this wasn't a problem for me. There are some dogs coming and going on the property. They are not aggressive, but may bark at you upon arrival. Again, not a problem for me, but if you're scared of dogs.... Mostly they just sleep and ignore you.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great place, staff was very nice and kind.
Cons: A little more space for parking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the arrival until we left the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. They spoke good English. The rooms were also very comfortable and clean. Our kids enjoyed the outside space (hammocks, gym equipment, front lawn). The hotel is few minutes walking distance from the Calzada and the central park. We had on-site parking and felt very safe. We would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Everything was great. One of the best places we stayed on our 2-week trip to Nicaragua in December 2018.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The strong breezes off Lake Nicaragua make the hotel comfortable in the hottest weather. The lakeside park in front of the hotel is beautiful and well kept. The air conditioning in the room was very quiet and efficient.
Cons: As in most smaller hotels in the tropics, there is no hot water; however, hot water is not really required in the tropics.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing. They arranged a shuttle to pick us up in Managua. Patricia helped us organize a private vehicle to Laguna de Apoyo and volcan Masaya (so we didn’t have to return to Granada between the two tours). They also arranged transport for us back to Managua. Clean and comfortable rooms, simple and filling breakfast. The helpful friendly staff made our stay!
Cons: It’s slightly out of the main part of town, but it’s totally worth the extra walk.

7.9 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. I felt very safe there.
Cons: The ceiling in the room was leaking water when it rained. The shower had barely any water dripping out. The pool needs to be maintained and repaired. I was over charged and given incorrect change at the pool bar.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The staff and something wrong fix right aeay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I absolutely loved the attentiveness of the staff and that the pool is available 24 hours a day ! The massages are wonderful ! Fresh breakfast cooked to order and natural juices ! Kenyn gives the best chocolate in house presentation ! I absolutely loved it all !
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff at Mansion de Chocolate are outstanding and incredibly helpful. The home is beautiful and has one of the nicest pool facilities in Granada. The deluxe room we stayed in was spacious and the bed comfortable.
Cons: Sadly, with the significant drop in tourism over the last year, the house is in need of a little upkeep. The in-room bathrooms could use an update and the pool deck needs some minor repair work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hospitality was great- staff was super nice!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The style of the house is great.
Cons: I had to check out at 6 am. NOBODY offere me coffee, also I asked for
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The massage services are really cheap and great! There is also a chocolate making class, very cool and inexpensive. You can walk everywhere from here, it is a great location. The hotel is an ex-president’s house and is quite nice.
Cons: The pool was very dirty and there was no water the last day of my stay. I was unable to shower or brush my teeth. Wifi wasn’t the strongest.

10.0 Excellent
Cons: No breakfast
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel, great owner, great location next to the road where are all the good places but not affected by the sound and music. Clean and comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location on the tourist strip and close to a number of restaurants, but far enough removed to be quiet. The owner is friendly, gregarious and very helpful. Nice courtyard with a pool. Rooms are clean, relatively spacious and well stocked with toiletries and towels.
Cons: I was only disappointed to find the associated restaurant "Maharaja Curry House" had to close due to the current crisis in tourism. I was looking forward to a good curry.
