Cant think of anything
Handy location for west end, very friendly staff.
Location was great, simple but adequate breakfast. The hall carpet was very good
The room was a little tired. But the staff were very friendly.
We had a very pleasant stay, made comfortable by a very friendly welcome, convenient location for eating out, next to Botanic Gardens, within easy walking distance of Kelvingrove.
Hotel manager is almost single handedly running hotel and is really helpful. Location is great for West End. Surrounding area is nice.
It is run down and needs serious decorative attention - character is great in a hotel, but this one needs a major overhaul. Breakfast is poor and badly presented. No hairdryer, bathroom small and dark, water system very noisy. poor ventilation.
Good location, very friendly staff, and an old building with character.
The building has definitely seen better days, and repairs and renovations were shoddily done. It made my fingers itch to get out some sandpaper and a brush!
Staff and welcome were excellent. location is superb location if you want the west end and easy access to underground. bed was very comfortable. great to have free parking included.
No wifi available which exacerbated the fact the tv which was very old needed replacing as the tube was going.
Own car park was a big plus, pleasant greeting on arrival, superb location in a very nice part of Glasgow.
Room overlooked a very busy main road. With only single glazed windows it was very noisy at night due to the constant traffic noise.
The hotel is a beautiful old house with a number of really nice features: the staircase, light fittings etc. It is in a really good location for getting around and about.
We booked a twin room and a single room: I think the twin room was fine the issues were mainly with the single room had it's kettle on the floornext to the waste bin, there was no remote for the tv, the toilet seat was broken and loose (when I showed the housekeeper she said yes we know about that! Doh; the toilet had a crack in it; the twin room had free view the single room didn't; non of the furniture in the single room fitted together and looked as if the owners had taken various bits and pieces and put them together; between the bedside drawers, dressing table, the drawaers on the dressing table and the wardrobe not one piece matched another! The housekeeping left a little to be desired -although given that there was only one young woman in the house it probably couldn't be helped and she was very helpful. Finally the continental breakfast hmmm just some of the highlights, sliced bread, processed ham, cheese triangles...
A clean and nicely presented Guest House and in a good location.
Very noisy, both traffic and grups of people until the early hours.
