Room comfortable, clean and with good facilities. Staff were very helpful.
The black décor theme broken with pop art prints is somewhat heavy and in the standard modern room we booked made the room feel dark. The bar area has no relation in terms of theme to the original use as a church and could have been dropped in from anywhere. This is a missed opportunity to make somewhere unique to this particular location and its previous use. No peanuts available as a snack within the bar, yet piles of chargeable snacks in the rooms - curious!
Clean, stylish, comfortable, quiet. Friendly and helpful and professional staff. Nice breakfast.
Very nice all over. Great decoration with atmosphere
The room was slightly smaller than I expected however the bed was uber comfortable, my partner is desperate to know the make of the pillows. The reception staff were exceptional, sorry I did not get their names all males and one with an Irish accent, i especially liked his parting comment," you just told me you used the peanuts in the room...not ate them, begs the question what you done with them? " made me smile , after years of working and managing in hospitality it is refreshing seeing staff treating customers as friends. Had a nightcap.in the bar when we came put from our night out, the guys down stairs serving the cocktails....good job guys, friendly, not complaining because we were slightly late at coming in and produced excellent couple of cocktails. The waitress in the morning for breakfast was super attentive, sorry I forgot to leave a tip will leave double next time. Overall Malmaison Glasgow has got it in bucket loads , they have a beautiful building, great design and something wonderfully special.....excellent staff.
