My one night stay was very pleasant and I enjoyed hearing about the history of the house from Christine, the proud owner of the property. I decided on breakfast, which was indeed excellent with plenty of choice.
The only point of contention was the owner's policy to levy a supplement for my double room for single occupancy. I discussed this with her before I left but she maintained her justification and necessity to do so.
Christine was a wonderful host. The breakfast was amazing.
If you are a little squeamish you might find it odd having the bathroom separated from the kitchenette only by a curtain. But we were fine with it.
The owner went out of her way to make sure my little 11 month old girl & I were comfortable & happy. Brilliant place!
Friendly owner. Exceptionally clean. Quiet room. Good breakfast.
Spacious, well maintained 19e century mansion located not too far from Ghent St Pieters station. Affluent breakfast provided lots of choice of bread, meat, chease, jams. Comfy appartments & rooms, Flexibility: could leave our luggage at the property before and after check-in/check-out times.
