Pros: I just love Puro hotels. This one is a great place. Location is perfect and in the middle of the center. Hotel is luxury, clean and staff is fantastic. Bar is open until 01:00, food is good and breakfast is very nice. I steyed here before and when I will visit Gdańsk again, for 100% I will stay in this hotel. Thank you!

Indeed, the breakfest ranks top among the many 4 star hotels and the occasional 5 star hotel I have visited. The variety and opulence of fresh and tasty food on offer is just amazing. The politeness and friendliness of the personnel is also outstanding. The restaurant on the 5th floor offers very good polish food at reasonable prices and a great view across the Old Town of Gdansk if you manage to get a table near one of the windows. The location of the Dlugi Targ is excellent - right in the center of the Old Town, only steps away from the Neptun fountain.

Cons: The view was excellent overlooking the river, but sounds from the street and restaurants were quite loud at early night. They didn't go on for very late though and didn't disturb our sleeping.

Cons: The hotel was rather pricy and we got a room really facing metal bars and very dark and dingy (really not good for superior room). Then unfortunately the service was really bad from taking the orders to giving us a guidance in the city. Normally we get much better service from Radison Blu which is why we always use the hotel but this time around it was rather disappointing experience.

Pros: The rooms were very nice and clean. Hotel staff was nice. the breakfast was very good.
Cons: The bathrooms were a complete disaster. the showerheads were so low and could not be moved, we had to crouch to get wet, water pressure was very low. the shower entrance (which was a tiny bathtub) was so high, we had to climb to get inside and out and take care we wouldn't fall on the slippery ground. There was very confusing service of the supplements like towels, toilet paper, tea, milk, etc., so we had to exchange those things between our rooms sometimes The parking situation was terrible, there was the hotel parking lot but it took them ages to open the gate, we had to get out off the car, go there several times and ask them, and every day we got there it worked differently. Parking on the street was not available. Communication in general was not easy and it was not possible to get a clear and split invoice in English for the company.

Cons: Although the mini price list stated it included all taxes when we went to check out there was a so called tourism tax added on which ment the cost of one bottle of beer had a tax of over 300%. The breakfast was great, especially the selection of hot dishes. The staff were supernice and helpful. All in all, I enjoyed my stay a lot and I can only recommend the hotel to any traveller.
Cons: The bed was not in the best shape, it was too soft for me (although I must admit that I do not like to sleep in soft beds). In spite of all the efforts of the staff, the room temperature remained a bit low (it was warmer in the corridor than in my room) but an extra blanket solved the issue for the night.

Pros: The room was very clean. It also had plenty of supplies like extra shampoo and body wash. I did not use the mini bar, but it was well stocked. I think the location was really convenient, as it was very close to the train/bus station. It was also very close to Old Town and right next to the City Forum for shopping. The amenities were also nice (on-site restaurant and spa). The front desk also kept my luggage free of charge on check out day so I could complete my trip.

Pros: This hotel is on the doorstep of the Old Town, so has immediate access to all local attractions, restaurants and bars. Cons: The hotel has a restaurant and bar lounge area in the foyer. The restaurant area looked very nice and inviting with tables & chairs, however, the bar area has modern designer style seating which are in fact uncomfortable to sit on. My elderly parents had a local visitor and wanted to sit and chat and have some tea and coffee. They were told that the restaurant area, which was completely empty at the time, was reserved for restaurant guests only and so were directed to the lounge seats, which were not comfortable for them.

Cons: Problem with toilet, once flushed it kept on flushing and didn’t stop, told reception and sorted it by the time we came back to hotel after day of walking around the Old Town. Problems occurred again on the last night but didn’t advice them till the morning.
