We had the most amazing couple of days at this beautiful property and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The wine farm has the most spectacular views and the grounds are beautiful, very relaxing. The house and rooms are homely and decorated with the most amazing pieces of art. The staff are exceptional and very helpful and breakfast was delicious. We couldn’t fault it.

Really warm and friendly welcome by Cynthia, the lodge has so many pieces of original artwork and a gallery is attached. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The grounds hold so many little hidden places to explore. The restaurant at the vineyard serves food that should have a Michelin star. We also did the picnic lunch. Which we would recommend.
For us the wine tasting at the vineyard took a little too long as we wanted to enjoy the house but it was not rushed and the staff were friendly.

Spaciousness; wonderful bathroom and piping hot water; warm dressing gowns; lovely log fire in room - we arrived in a downpour. Really appreciated being allowed to stay in room after checkout to watch the rugby!
Squeaky doors to walk-in wardrobe; No tooth mugs by basins; light not working over stairwell to the door; maybe have a mirror in the bedroom?
