The location could not have been better. Just behind the Duomo, less than 5 minute walk to Bargello and Plaza della Signoria and Uffizi, 10 minute walk to Accademia or Ponte Vecchio, and 12 minute walk to train station. We loved opening the windows and taking in the view of the Duomo while we enjoyed breakfast in our room each morning. The staff was lovely, polite and so helpful with questions, and quiet in the mornings when preparing breakfast. We stayed here on a family members' recommendation, and now highly recommend La residenza del Proconsolo! We will definitely stay here again when we return to Florence.
