They arranged a bed for my dog. It was very friendly and familiar. We got a lot informations and tips for food and sightseeing. They even arranged a dog sitter for us. Thanks a lot!
The property is a good 25min walk to the main tourist area , which is ok doing it once but is not fun after that .
This was the highlight of our stay in Florence. Matteo was not only hospitable but sat with us and made sure our stay was just perfect by giving us information and scheduling an Intimate wine making evening in the hills of Inpruneta. The suite we stayed in at Villa Landucci was beautiful with doors opening to a balcony. I felt like a queen. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else but here again!
The cleanliness of the room was of a very high standard. The check in process (which was out of hours for us) was very clear and stress free with plenty of contact with the hosts prior to our arrival in the few days before hand. We really appreciated the advice we were given by Matteo and especially the offers of cooking classes and a joint meal with other guests which sadly we couldn't make but felt was a lovely touch. The room had a pleasant view and we enjoyed playing board games on the veranda at night overlooking the garden and trees. The walk into central Florence takes about 20 minutes but has plenty of great coffee shops and restaurants en route for a quick stop or lunch/dinner on your way to/from the center. Matteo in particular helped arrange a very special birthday surprise for my partner while we were there which made her birthday and our overall trip to Florence a very special and memorable one. He had plenty of tips on where to eat and where to visit, and stressed he was always available for questions via his mobile phone. Overall an amazing and very friendly place to stay!
Nothing in particular.
Matteo greeted us with smiles from the very beginning. He took the time to sit down with us and went over all the nice places to see in Florence. This guy really knows the city inside out and can tell you all the tips that you wouldn’t have found otherwise. Breakfast is delicious and has many varieties and the rest of the staff is very friendly (the woman who helps prepare breakfast, the man who cleans and makes our beds daily). Location of the place is also nice. It is not in the city center (so it’s nice and quiet) but close enough to the restaurants and shopping (15-20 min walk).
