It was up to the usual high standard we expect from IHG. It was easy to find and check in. Helpful staff suggested local places to eat. Very happy.
Pros (+) breakfast was great. heated pool and hot tub were very nice. everyone was super friendly.
Cons (-) rooms were smaller than most holiday inn expresses. no newspaper.
Pros (+) This was an older hotel remodeled. However rooms felt dirty, especially the carpets. We were traveling with small children called in and explained the situation and arranged for the two rooms we reserved to be adjoining. Cons (-) The carpet in the halls and room needed cleaning. On New Years day they ran out of everything at breakfast and MANY families had to WAIT 20 minutes for all hot food. Who forgot to check occupancy to plan?

Cons (-) Construction on rooms near by started at 9am. I understand that they were in the process of a remodel, but noises like that should not begin until check out time. When we called the front desk to complain...they could hear the noises over the phone!
