10.0 Excellent
Pros: Toula and her daughter Efi were wonderful hosts - so welcoming and helpful. The hotel provided great value for money. While there were no caldera views the hotel was a short walk away from Fira, the local bus stop and the caldera walking path. Breakfast was not included in our room rate but the hotel provided a complimentary coffee and croissant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice quiet location close to the caldera. Modern, clean and spacious room. Efi was an awesome host, spending a lot of time explaining things about the island and helping us to book things!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Efi’s amazing hospitality, friendliness & helpfulness is everything you need; cosy room with sunrise view; beautiful paintings and artworks around the property
Cons: There’s a bit of stairs but Efi helped us carrying the luggage
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff and very comfortable rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a gem of a place! Absolutely beautiful place. And their owner are just amazing people. Location is just brilliant. So quiet at night and caldera is just on your doorstep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful room with a great view of the island. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy. Also the shower was amazing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Efi and her mom were very warm and friendly. They ensured we were comfortable and the room is definitely a fantastic deal! The place is family run and they advised us on nearby places to eat (Simos, Romantica) and also arranged shuttle back to the port (at a cost).
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Efi and her mother were wonderful - so sweet and welcoming. Efi gave me precise directions about how to get there by bus - from the port you take a local bus to Fira, then find one that is going to Firostefani. I would recommend the bus when you are traveling with luggage, but for any other day bus trips just walk to the bus station in Fira (10-15 minutes) - easy on food but not with rolling luggage. I stayed in a room with a sea view of the east (the hotel is not on the western caldera side) and had a small balcony. The room itself was beautiful and quiet, and walking to the caldera for sunset was only about 5 minutes, and once at the caldera you can do the hike from Fira to Oia as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best part was the kind, caring nature of Efi and her family. When my husband hurt his foot, she gave us ice and offered to help us to the hospital if needed (thankfully we didn't need to). Additionally, when our ferry was cancelled due to high winds Efi called the hotels in the area to find us another hotel for our unexpected extra night! The bed was the most comfortable bed of our whole trip. The location was great!
Cons: Nothing, it was perfect!

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the views, privacy of room and breakfast on the balcony.
Cons: The 2 story rm wasn’t the most convenient
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stephanos and his team do an amazing job! Hospitality is beyond belief awesome and the facilities are fantastic. This was our second visit to Santorini and by far, much better than the first time around. Attention to detail in the rooms, breakfast, arranging transfers, tours...Homeric Poems went over and above to make our stay magical.
Cons: Nothing really.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The service was impeccable. The breakfast was amazing. Having the staff give recommendations (restaurants by area, activists, where not to go, etc.) was huge for us, as it was our first time in Santorini. Our view of the caldera sunset was unbelievable. The hotel being below the walking path made it very quiet and luxury. The location in firastephani was also great as Thira not quite as nice and crowded and oia is way too touristy and also crowdedness We loved absolutely everything about Homeric Poems and will be staying there again when we go back no question. Yannis and stefano were fantastic.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great and they are very flexible with the timing. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: The bathroom doors in our room didn’t stay shut which was a little awkward.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very attentive. The location. Was amazing with wonderful views. The room and facilities were amazing. I would rate the food only average however, especially given the hype around their chef.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning views and staff is incredibly helpful. They went above and beyond and always with a cheerful attitude,
Cons: The food was honestly a little disappointing. It was bland and somewhat uninspired.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had an amazing stay at Homeric poems. We would gladly stay there again. The hotel was absolutely amazing but what sets it apart from other hotels is the staff. Their kindness, willingness to make our stay magical was above and beyond our expectations. If you have any hesitations trust me you will not be disappointed.

Cons: Nil.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so helpful, from before we even arrived. They answered all my questions through email. Upon arrival we were given tips, a map, and a drink! They set up a boat tour and rental car for us. They had advice, maps, and ideas on what to see and do. Helped with our bags and brought us to the airport to return home. Such a helpful family!! I couldn't have asked for more.
Cons: If the room balconies overlooked the scenery instead of the pool area. But the roof had some seating to look at the amazing views and sunsets.
6.7 Good
Pros: It was clean & the staff were more than willing to help with any enquiry
Cons: The pool area was a little crammed when you have more than 4 people wanting the sun beds. They should replace the uncomfortable chairs in the rooms with more comfortable ones
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so friendly and helpful. We needed an iron for an early morning photo shoot and we forgot to request it the night before. They were up very early and made sure that we got an iron. We also received some great restaurant recommendations from the front desk. I loved the personal touch of the homemade rakomelo in the room. It was the best rakomelo we've had.The room was very clean and comfortable. I loved the layout and design. I also loved the rooftop view. The location of the hotel is perfect! Right near a bus stop and a short walk to the central bus terminal. We were surrounded by shops and restaurants.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really helpful and friendly and the property was in a good location
Cons: We loved the hotel and would definitely recommend it but the only small thing that could be improved would be the sun beds as they are uncomfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nikolina and her family were very human. They help us very much when my husband got an accident. We really appreciate their help. The rooms are very nice, the breakfast is very good and not to expensive. We will return at Reverie for sure. Again thanks a lot for everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The standard of hospitality was excellent, the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. They seem to speak a range of languages fluently, and are happy to give advice on anything.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Our room was a caldera view room and the view from our balcony was stunning and certainly one to recommend.
Cons: The buffet breakfast was adequate but basic while the room amenities were too simple given the price of the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities are the best part of the hotel. The pool and deck are great for sunbathing and watching the amazing view. The room was really nice with the private balcony overlooking Santorini. The continental breakfast is a nice spread in the morning. The staff at the hotel is very helpful and willing to arrange any tours/car rentals/restaurant reservations. I can’t recommend this hotel enough!
Cons: The bed was slightly uncomfortable, and may need replacing soon.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the view from our room, from the lounge where you could bring your breakfast and the pool. Great location in between 2 towns, short walk to Fira and Imiglioveri.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel. The staff was nice and really helpful on planning our stay. The view was one of the best I have ever seen. Right at the outskirts of Fira so we had a nice romantic (less crowded) vibe. Even the breakfast was good. Definitely recommend this place. I recommend taking their shuttle to travel to the ferry. Never saw a local bus down at the ferry. The shuttle is much less of a hassle.
Cons: We really enjoyed everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The two receptionist ladies were amazing ! So helpful, so friendly and made our experience here one to never forget ! They even helped arrange a taxi service in Crete for us to be picked up at midnight . The hotel and view itself is second to none. We had the Caldera views and enjoyed every moment of our stay. 8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location especially since there wasn’t a ton of steps & the view! Reception staff was wonderful. Breakfast was fabulous. Loved that we had option to have in our room/deck or in the restaurant. We had a early morning check-out outside of the breakfast times. The staff made sure we had something to take with us and delivered food hot coffee at 6:45am!
Cons: No pool
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location to travel around the whole of the island. The view is just amazing and the balcony was lovely and private. Would definitely return
5.3 Okay
Pros: The hotel is located centrally in Firostefani, near the bus station and many restaurants or cafes. It has a very good sea view, practically i could enjoy the beautiful view of caldera and sunset in bed. It was the best thing to drink a beer on the tiny balcony during the time of sunset or take the breakfast, while the sun shines over the volcano island.
Cons: The waiter of the restaurant was not kind, i think, they are different departments, so it was not his job to serve the hotel guests. The food of the restaurant was not good, but expensive.( I had my dinners in a taverna on the left side of the main street to Fira, just 50m from Ferostefani bus station, it is my personal accommodation, the name is Simos.) It was very noisy in Remvi, because the restaurant plays music until late night, the refrigerator was loud, plus church clocks on friday.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The view of the hotel
Cons: The room is too small
6.7 Good
Pros: Excellent view, cleanliness
Cons: Small misunderstanding with owner for the first night, but she didn't charged for it.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Not really a "hotel" rather a restaurant with some (very small) rooms. Location is super: caldera view, within easy walking distance of Thira, right next to a busstop, parking for cars nearby.
Cons: Breakfast: enough but on 6 mornings 6 times exactly the same.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: great view of cliff, very nice hotel,we have our dinner just in front of our room seeing the sunset, highly recommend
6.0 Good
Pros: Room small and quaint. Hotel in middle of fantastic Santorini architecture with fantastic view of caldera. Sit on the balcony and enjoy a wine while the sun sets. A few minutes walk from Thira.
Cons: Basic, especially the bathroom.

Cons: The building work next door but I don’t think that could of been helped
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My parents stayed at Ersi Villa for two out of their four nights in Santorini (would have liked to stay longer but the place was full on other nights). Everything from the prompt communication, late night airport pick up, to the rooms, & breakfast etc was great. They were especially appreciative of wonderful hospitality of Mr Elias, the owner. He went out of way to help my parents with everything, including dropping them to their next hotel in Santorini. Thank you Elias!
Cons: Nothing. Everything was great

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Elias was really friendly and helpful. Gave us suggestions on activities, booked our cab when we left, helped us in when we arrived. The flowers all around the hotel were very beautiful

Pros: Very polite and kind staff. You have a feeling that all the visitors are like a familly in the hotel
Cons: The front rooms have a small problem with the noise from the road but if you close the doors and windows and open the aircondition the problem is over!!
5.6 Okay
Pros: Booking process, great pool, clean rooms and surrounding, breakfast, balcony with views.
Cons: The room that we booked was not provided, it took much discussion to get the room that we had booked and paid for. There was much questioning as to why we needed this room which was inappropriate as we had clearly booked it.
Villa Ilias - Firostefani - Bedroom
8
9.4 Excellent (196 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Villa Ilias in Santorini, you'll be just steps from Santorini Caldera and 10 minutes by foot from Archaeological Museum. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The service-team was very nice and helped us with everything we needed. We only stayed 2 nights and wanted a hotel with a great view and we got the most fanstastic one at the terrace of this hotel, where we could enjoy a cocktail from the bar, made by Giorge, who is a very nice guy. By staying at this hotel we didn't need to go to Oía to watch the sunset, which is always crowded. Also, next to the hotel there is everything you need: restaurants, mini market, ATMs, Tourist Office...everything. We found Firostefani to be the perfect place to stay as it is very quiet and beautiful. The breakfast was also nice with a good variety of homemade and regional ingredients and it is relaxing to have breakfast with a little bit of sea view. I would recommend this place.
Cons: Our room had everything we needed but it was very tiny. Because of the pictures, we were expecting something less simple, but it was okay for the price.
7.0 Good
Pros: The people that work here make the villa amazing! Christina is a joy, George the bartender was AMAZING and George the manager was super helpful. I liked that breakfast was served fresh each morning, the view of Santorini from the pool is breathtaking and the villa itself is located on a walking trail
Cons: We booked a double room with two beds, however upon check in we got one bed in an awfully tiny room. I went to reception to see about changing rooms, and even offered to pay but was told they didn’t have any other rooms available. Luckily, my college girlfriend and I are close so we didn’t mind sharing, but that’s not what we paid for.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent every morning, always fresh and every day they have a special from the kitchen that they bring out for you to try. Christina the manager was extremely helpful every day with helping us plan where we needed to go and visit. George the bar man was also a great point of contact for hearing about the local area and making a few cocktails. Villa Ilias is in a great location, 5 minute walking distance to Fira and out of the busy crowds.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villa Ilias and would not hesitate to come back on our next visit to Santorini. Our room had an awesome balcony with a view and was very clean with great air conditioning. Breakfast was an excellent assortment of locally sourced foods. The pool views were incredible and George, the bartender, makes a great cocktail. We had free parking right out front for our ATV and the hotel was helpful in arranging a shuttle to the port.
Cons: Wouldn’t change a thing!
6.3 Good
Pros: The view was incredible!! Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very accommodating -lovely people
Cons: Bathroom needs an update and pool area to smal,no sun beds as they wouldn’t fit in around the pool.Bed was on the hard side as they all seem to be in Greece .
9.6 Excellent
Pros: As you might expect from looking at their website, the Villa Ilias staff are exceptionally helpful, friendly, fun, and professional. What you might not guess from the website, though, is that your stay includes a delicious full breakfast. We reserved a downstairs room with a queen bed and sleeper sofa. The room was actually too small for our 3-person group (although it might have been absolutely fine for a younger party of three). Fortunately, Villa Ilias was able to offer us a second room at a reasonable price. We decided, after our arrival, to rent two rooms instead of one so that we could spread out. We really appreciated the staff's efforts to meet our needs. They also helped us choose the perfect activities for our short Santorini stay. We wish we had been able to spend more time at the hotel, though, just to enjoy the mellow vibe and stunning views rom the pool/bar/balcony at Villa Ilias.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from our room was right to the pool. The room was amazing and the views from the pool were awesome. The staff was extremely helpful and booked our shuttle to the port for us. Breakfast included in the hotel price was great too.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extra friendly. Gave us a lot of tips that were very helpful. An amazing place to stay
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel with a fabulous view. Staff were very accommodating. Within walking distance of Fira and a number of good restaurants.
Cons: There are quite a few stairs to negotiate which may be an issue for some people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed the stay in this hotel. Its location and view is great and its quite calm and quite place to stay. Breakfast was good and staff was polite. In general I really liked staying in Agali Houses.
Cons: An odd think for me is that the staff asked us to turn on and off the water heater from the electrical switch each time after we shower which basically means not having hot water in the remaining time. I do not like this and I do not see a reason to do it. But once again I liked this hotel and I would recommend it. I hope the management changes this policy for turning on and off the boiler each time before and after use.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was breath taking. We arrived early and our room was not ready. We were welcomed in the Terrace with fresh juice. The process was explained and all the paper work was completed by the time the room was ready. They had places for us the freshen up or change to enjoy the pool. The staff was extremely helpful and hospitable

Pros: The hotel room was great, the view was amazing, hotel staff were very nice and kind with great service!
Cons: .The shower was a bit uncomfortable due to open design of it and hot water didn't last long But nothing too serious.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at Agali Houses for our honeymoon. The staff were so friendly and even upgraded us to a room with a larger terrace and hot tub upon arrival. They also helped arrange transportation for us to and from the port, and to other attractions around the island during our stay. Beautiful suites with an unbeatable view of the caldera and sunsets.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location the size of accommodation the friendly and helpful staff. Our balcony was gorgeous and the view absolutely stunning. Thank goodness for porters who took care of our luggage.
Cons: The only issue we had was the 145 steps upwards from our apartment to the road. We were exhausted by the time we were ready to start our day. It was 50 steps up to reception and the entry gates. The exercise was good for us
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and all the service is really really perfect. Excellent view of the sea and whole Santorini.
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Overall, this hotel is great! You could not ask for a better view of the caldera and sunset each evening. The staff are friendly and the executive sweet is spacious. The pool is great as well to hang out at during the day and look out at the caldera.
Cons: This did not bother us but as a warning there are many steep steps to get to and from the hotel. Make sure you are in decent shape if you stay here. The good thing is there is a porter who carries your bags to and from the hotel when you arrive and leave.

Pros: We met a different member of staff every day and they were all very nice and helpful. It was all very organized and friendly. They even upgraded our room. Complementary water, tea, croissants, and shampoos! The location is a bit out of the main centre of Fira, so it is calm and quiet but close enough to the action for restaurants, bars and the beautiful caldera view.
Cons: The fridge was very noisy at night. The pool is a bit small.

Pros: Perfect location!!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing, very helpful and welcoming. Room was clean and had everything you could need. Bed was so so comfortable, big bonus for that!
Cons: Very very humid, we had condensation on our windows running down like it would be raining from the inside. Even clothes in our bags suitcases were moist after a day of staying in there. I think it was because our room was on the ground floor facing the tub and every morning they were washing the tiles off with the hose, so water went into our balcony as well. I hung my towel there to dry out and it was soaked in the morning, there was water everywhere. I stayed there for two nights and both days it was the same problem, water everywhere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: PROS: - Thea welcomed us with a smile and plenty of information to make our stay easier even though we arrived very late due to a ferry delay. She even stepped out of her office and walked us around the property to show us the best walking paths and access points, restaurants and markets. - Communication with the property before arrival was excellent, property manager was helpful and very friendly - Hotel was in a great location a short walking distance to everything. Easy to get to the bus station, Imerovigli, Fira, restaurants. - Room was well kept and comfortable, towels and toiletries included, great AC, good WIFI - Most won't appreciate it but I LOVE that there were a ton of chargers by the bed on both sides, allowed me to charge all my electronics at the same time. - Manager allowed us to take a shower before departing for our ferry even though we had checked out much earlier in the day. Very appreciated. - Pool in the property was small but well maintained and an excellent place to get away and refresh during the day - I appreciated the provided drying rack and clothespins provided on the balcony, allowed me to do laundry while staying here
Cons: CONS: - Pool was only open until 9pm, would have been nice to leave it open a little later to really enjoy it

Pros: hotel boss is a very friendly lady.she picked me up at the fira tourist information office after i called her when i can't find the hotel location .the room is very very clean.in genaral, this place let me feel like in my own home.also the price is very good.it only takes 5 minutes walk to the cliff side, and every morning almost 8,9 o'clock you will be waked up by the clop-clop and ring from a donkey team pass by your room's window,is it amazing?
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our experience here, Angeliki the owner and her family made us feel very welcomed from the first day. We stayed for 4 nights and everyday we feel the hotel's location is it's best asset. It's located close to Fira and Firastefani, Fira is where all the tourism is, but the hotel is closer to Firastefani, Firastefani and Imperviogli is the place where you should go, it's just beautiful. The hotel itself was clean, not too big but it was big enough for the both of us. Angeliki really made the difference, she was so helpufl with directions and recommendations of good restaurants (where locals eat), she even helped out in our final day there by taking us to the station in her car so we can catch the bus to the Port on time, thanks.

Pros: The staff was accommodating and as friendly as we could possibly ask for. Great location and beautiful rooms!
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was convenient next to free car park which is really rear in Fira.nice view from outside. The bed was very comfortable and the staff very helpful
Cons: The description stated 75sqm suite but the room size wasn’t more than 30 including the shower room and wc. The outside space provides no privacy. The internet was practically nonexistent. Average breakfast .

Pros: I loved my stay at Allure Suites! The view of the Caldera from my room was breathtaking. The staff were super friendly and helpful! Breakfast was delivered to my room every morning, and they also assisted in informing me of all the fun things to do on the island! I’d definitely stay here again!
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Clean, stylish, great service. Superb place to stay in Firostefani. Surroundings are beautiful. 15 minutes walk to Fira center. Bus stop for buses to Oia and Fira is a 3 minute walk.
Cons: The hotel is great provided Firostefani is where you want to stay. While a matter of personal choice, we took a preference for Oia, and might have wanted to stay in that area.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Comfort of sofa bed was not up to standards of rest of property
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Katarina and Vangelis were really nice and very helpful. They made our stay enjoyable. Really great breakfast with ocean view. I will definitely recommend our friends to stay there if they ever visit Santorini.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Katerina is amazing. She gave us a great overview of Santorini and helped us with several requests. Breakfast was amazing!!! And the views, just wow. The balcony is more semi-private but I would definitely book it again.
Cons: Whole thing was great. If you arrive by ferry, make sure they help you set up transportation or you’re bombarded with aggressive group taxi or car rental salesmen.

Pros: The views were absolutely incredible. Room very clean with great amenities. Free wine was a lovely bonus. Most staff were really welcoming and helpful, especially the gentleman who carried two very heavy bags up the large stairs for us, thank you!
Cons: On our last day they forgot to tell us that there would be no breakfast, we waited around and had to go and ask. No real explaination or alternative was given, I kind of felt brushed off by the receptionist when I asked.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tastefully decorated and very nice rooms with gorgeous view of the caldera. Fridges kept drinks wonderfully cold. Staff was accommodating and tried to make us happy.
Cons: We were "upgraded" to the Hideaway villa in the next town over, which had a beautiful view but was also a place where all the professional photographers brought their clients for photo shoots. Not the peace and quiet we were hoping for. The staff eventually moved us to a room in the Blue Dolphin complex which we much preferred.
6.3 Good
Pros: The view was amazing
Cons: The breakfast and the staff could be improved
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of the property is central, but far enough from the city-center liveliness.
Cons: The room along the walkway to the reception/office was not very noisy, one could here very person passing by even with the windows closed. Certainly not the most ideal room if you are here to for R&R
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful terrace with a breathtaking view of the caldera. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast makes a perfect day.
Cons: Wifi is a bit weak inside the room.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing no breakfast.! Bed too hard
Cons: Stay somewhere else so many better hotels
10.0 Excellent
Pros: it was one of the most magnificent hotels I have ever stayed in (and I have a lot of travel experience) Amazing view, unusual sunset) the design of the room exceeded my expectations !!! cleanliness, comfortable bed, airy bedding! Hotel staff is very attentive, professionals. Many thanks to the Russian-speaking guy at the reception who met us (he is from Georgia) thanks again. everything was at the highest level - calm, easy, dignified, comfortable) absolutely everything corresponded to the description and photo, in reality even better! Breakfast is incredibly tasty, fresh and natural! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!
7.0 Good
Pros: Incredible location by Agia Ana and Paranga beaches, and two of the best restaurants on the island---Tasos Taverna and Nikolas. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with seaview terraces and were cleaned and refreshed daily. We loved the breakfast every morning with eggs, hot items, coffee, juice, tea, and loads of delicious sweets, fruit and yogurt. It was so lovely having breakfast by the beautiful pool overlooking the Aegean. The proprietress was so friendly, accommodating, and helpful with everything. We will definitely stay again (I come to Mykonos almost every year, and lived here for a little while in my early twenties) and will also recommend to friends.
Cons: Only wish we could have stayed longer!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Friendly staff. Comfort room
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location of the villa was great! It is a family-run business so everything was very homely, and the hosts were just super friendly and nice.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was ideal, there was free airport shuttle service by the owner himself, and every morning during breakfast it felt like you were being welcomed by your grandma in her house and fed til you are full.
Cons: The bathroom was small and it was unavoidable to get the floor and mat wet no matter how careful we showered. During checkout, we felt rushed. Someone entered the room a few minutes before 12nn as we were fixing our stuff and entered again a few minutes after. My friend was upset and just stuffed all her things in her bag and fixed them at the table outside. We understand checkout was at noon and it was our fault we didn't prepare earlier, but I think we could have been asked in a better way. But these are minor things that didn't ruin an altogether good stay!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location plus wonderful family owners
Cons: The shower abit small
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location. Good breakfast to start your day. Good value for the money.
Cons: Room was small. If you have a big bags then it's hard to open it. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts were super friendly! Drove me to & from the airport, offered tourist recommendations. The location was wonderful - super convenient to Fira and right off the path along the Caldera, near many shops and restaurants, right next to the bus stop.
Cons: Bed was a hard mattress and I prefer soft, but that seems to be the norm in Greece.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality of the family who ran Villa Firostefani, I liked the traditional villa, my room was lovely with everything I needed including a balcony with a sea view. It was clean and comfortable and in a perfect location.
Cons: I liked everything
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The service was great, they kindly picked us up from the airport at 1am, and helped us printing a document, their treatment was very warm. The place has a good location, a 10-15 min walk take you to the cable car for the old port (or the donkey station), there is also a bus stop in the route to Oia next to the hotel. Also nearby you can see the sunset next to a beautiful church.
Cons: Pillows could be a little softer :-)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, excellent caldera views, excellent breakfast and very welcoming staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view. You get a view to die for. Overlooking the caldera completely unobstructed. You can watch the sunset right from outside your room. Small property. Helpful staff. Great hot tub. There’s a convenience store right outside the hotel with all the necessities. A few meters away is a nice fish & chips place “To Honaki” - that’s a cheap option in Firostefani. All the other restaurants at expensive. Short walk to Fira. If you aren’t comfortable with steep climbs take the main road instead of the path along the Caldera.
Cons: You have to lug your bags from Firostefani down a few steps. Be ready for that. The property doesn’t have a porter option. We could manage but I can see it being a struggle for people with mobility challenges.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view, the simplicity, the kind staff
Cons: Liked everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! We would definitely come back there again. + All the staffs (Aspa and the cleaning ladies) are very friendly, informative and helpful. + Location is great and the view is so awesome. + Plenty space for parking at the public parking lot in front of Firostefani + Generous breakfast + Great terrace to enjoy + Only few stairs to climb down to the hotel, when you enter it from the back side. When you are on the main street of Firostefani, opposite to the local wine shop, there is the back entrance of Sunset hotel (located next to the sign of Hotel Mylos). This way is better than getting to the hotel from the main entrance (which you have to climb more stairs).
Cons: - You need luck about your guest neighbors. Since all the terrace is connected area, if you got noisy neighbors, then it can be very disturbing in some cases. - When we were there, there were guests staying for their wedding. These couples with their guests were all over the places and disturbed others beyond belief. We informed Aspa and she reacted quite well to keep those guests noisy level down. The next day, Aspa came to apologize us for the inconveniences again. - Water pressure in the bathroom is not good sometimes. I guess it happens when most of the guests use the bathroom at the same time. - Would be nice to have more shade at the terrace. They do have small sun umbrellas but it is not enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: position was great. Reception staff was extremely helpful. Clean an relaxing with great view
Cons: Too much for breakfast. Less food. Maybe a choice of items.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible view
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view from the hotel is fabulous and the breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The room could have been bigger at this price.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome staff and the lady at reception (forgot her name)stayed back late night to help us to check in which was around mid-night even though her shift was over at 11pm. The breakfast was huge, full of variety and tasty; and i was not charged extra for my 2nd child even though i booked a triple room, so generous. DONT need to go to Oia to see the Sunset, you can see from your balcony and from the spa :) and avoid the crowd at Oia .... Even the hose keep staff were very nice and polite , very personal touch with the stay.
Cons: nothing

Pros: Cappuccino is no.ONE ! To see beautiful sunset you should stay in Sunset Hotel !!! Nice view and location !!!

6.3 Good
Pros: Very clean. Amazing view. Julia and Cristina at the reception are very, very nice and helpful.
Cons: Very expensive for a 2 star hotel. You pay for the view. Rooms and bathrooms are very small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the property is stunning, incredible views of the Caldera. When we arrived, we were able to check in immediately and were greeted by very warm staff. Our room, the Sea View Mini was on the small side, but the views and service made up for it. Each morning's breakfast included much more than we could possibly eat, and the servers were always very kind. There is a select menu fo hotel guests, the full menu options seemed more interesting at an extra cost. The Acai bowl was AMAZING. The receptionist was always there to give information and recommendations, including how to get around by map since GPS is not up to date. We were provided beach towels each day which was helpful when discovering various parts of the island.
Cons: As Firostafani is built into the side of the cliff, there are a lot of stairs. We had to go down to reception, then back up to go to the other side to go down 2 more flights of stairs to get to our room with our bags. It would have been nice to have some assistance with the bags. The young woman at the reception helped on arrival, it would be nice to have someone on call for assistance upon arrival and departure.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly, particularly Julia. She arranged our transfers and met us to walk us to the hotel, plus gave us a great overview of activities on Santorini. Views from our room were amazing! Overall, it was as advertised.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location! Less than 15 minutes to Firostefani, 2 minutes from bus stop, many restaurants in the area, right on the main path so don’t have to go down lots of steps to get to the hotel. Delicious breakfast included with stay was convenient. Great view! No need to leave your room with balcony to see the sunset. Stayed in room 411. Nice staff! I asked for triple beds which was accommodated. Communication responses were timely. Wish we could have stayed here longer.
Cons: Expensive, but probably more affordable when many tourists are not in Santorini.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the staff and love the location
Cons: Nothing bad
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and accommodating staff in both the Galini Hotel and the Galini Cafe. As we were there for our 45th Wedding Anniversary, they went the extra mile on the day itself. 107 was a lovely room and the shower area was amazing.
Cons: As the rooms are arranged over two floors and linked by passages from the stairs, the noise carries easily. Unfortunately we had some very upset children during our stay. Just we aware that there is no pool and if you want to use the next hotel's facilities it is €15 per person per day, which we felt was expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The sunset view was incredible from our Junior Suite. The complimentary on time in suite quality breakfast and complimentary in-room snacks and wine, water, tea, and coffee were a wonderful surprise. We also took advantage of the fridge for our leftovers. Check-in was thorough and with personal attention - we loved that we had someone to walk us through our space and sit down with us to talk about hotel amenities, policies, and restaurant and excursion ideas right in suite's sitting area - we felt fully cared for immediately. The bathroom supplies were complete with exceptional products and tools. And the bed was so fluffy and comfortable! We loved relaxing in our own private outdoor plunge pool where an abundance of flowers hung over the neighboring wall and where we could watch the sunset over the caldera unobstructed. The staff was very helpful and very accommodating - they helped us secure drivers from the Ferry and to the Airport as well as secure our ATV rentals. Overall, we had an amazing and relaxing experience and would highly recommend Galini to our friends and family.
Cons: My husband found some subtle faded stains on our white robes and one white towel on our first morning, but due to our busy schedule we forgot to mention it to the staff. Fortunately, room service comes every day on time and seemed to be more thorough and attentive during the rest of our vacation since we did not find any more issues with cleanliness beyond that first morning.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location and views
7.1 Good
Pros: Location is spectacular the views are magnificent!
Cons: Tiny room! No pool or sun decks

Pros: Staff were amazing, they gave me a cake and bottle of Prosecco for my birthday and the room was incredible. I would recommend to anyone. It was our 4th time in Santorini and the best one.
Cons: More of a variety at breakfast
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The view! Vanilla cafe down the lane
Cons: Misrepresentation on website of what your booking, pictures don’t match the reality. Supplies are stingy & it’s overpriced. Doesn’t mention anywhere about the unreasonable amount of stairs eg to get to pool or b’fast we had 28up then 128down , no handrail & uneven steps. Room service b’fast was cold @€7 each!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved my stay here. I came for a couple days in low season and the suites had great views, comfy bed, good hot water, the breakfast included a good selection of hot and cold foods, and the staff were exceptionally helpful. The private suites with views were a great plus. Very nice to sit out on your own balcony section and have some food or wine.
Cons: Not Dana Villas specific, but be aware in low season that there are less places open around. Still there is enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really helpful and nice, view is amazing everything on the site ... Everything really clean, food is not too bad, but easy to go anywhere shop or eat at a restaurant. Our room was perfect, clean and the pool area really clean too, not too crowdy (empty some times) so perfect to relax.
Cons: Service at the pool was really really slow, for food and even for drinks. About 20-25min to get a beer by the pool. Drinks are pricy for what they are. A lot of stairs to go up and down depending on where your room is.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Belverde Hotel in Firosteni was just breathtaking, the views of the caldera where just beautiful. The hotel is modern, with a communal pool that looks over the caldera, in which we had breakfast included every morning. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The rooms were spacious and we had a balcony with an amazing view. Highly recommend it, the location is within walking distance to the main town Fira, so its not as busy. Overall very good experience.
Cons: Nil
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location! Views!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast by the pool, easy walk to shops & bus station to take bus to Red Beach & Oia.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful views, very clean and nice breakfast. Excellent pool area.
6.7 Good
Pros: We loved the location and the room was spacious and light. There was plenty of room. Thought the bed was comfortable and air conditioning was great upstairs and down. We liked the walk down to our room and back (around 100 steps in total) as we are into fitness but this would not suit everyone.
Cons: The service of the staff - they were quite disinterested. Also we paid extra for the rooms with a private sea view. However they were situated under the breakfast tables so you could hear people scraping their chairs back and forth. Also at breakfast it was all self service, even down to cutlery, napkins, coffee, tea etc.
7.9 Good
Pros: The Belvedere Hotel is perfectly positioned for a good 3 days in Santorini. The view and poolside facilities were perfect. We found we enjoyed more time hanging about by the pool than travelling around Santorini but when we did venture out it was easy walking distance in either direction to explore. Another time we took the semi private Catamaran 5 hour cruise which was a fantastic day out and well organised.
Cons: The toilet seat in the bathroom was ill fitting and a bit of a nuisance. It would be easy to replace and should be. Also, there were no drinking glasses in the bedroom which would have been handy. Otherwise our stay was perfect
5.7 Okay
Pros: Hotel is located in a nice view corner and very close to Fira town. Breakfast is fair enough, maid is nice too. But one of the receptionist is not very good who is rude to Asian customers.
4.7 Okay
Pros: The view from our room was amazing, however, this didn't compensate for the rock solid bed, the light fitting which wasn't screwed in properly or the lack of towels in the ensuite bathroom.
Cons: The Belvedere does not have a lift (it took seven flights of stairs to get to our room), nor does it have good insulation...
6.0 Good
Pros: 1-Staff -Sotiris the manager will guide to the best restaurants and best places to visit,Georgi and Sergei are great 2-the best unobstructive view of the sea 3- great pool
Cons: 1-showers but we were told that this will be their winter project 2..internet..only place to get connection is in the office..again this is a winter project 3- would not reccomend to seniors who have problems with stairs..no elevator..from our room to the reception, there are 92 steps...some rooms are closer to the reception 4-breakfast needs improvement
7.2 Good
Pros: the staff was very friendly, helpful and kind. our room was not good and they happily changed it for us and asked several times during our stay if we werehappy.
Cons: a bit misleading on line about the rooms

Pros: It’s location. The owners were very accommodating to any request. For example they moved the bed from under the window in room 105 allowing us to sit on bed and open window more freely.
Cons: I liked everything for the price charged.

Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the outdoor balcony was nice to sit and relax if too hot by the pool. Good location, close to restaurants and only a 10min walk to Fira
Cons: The mattress on the bed could have been more comfortable

Pros: Perfect location 10 minute walk to Fira. Excellent breakfast at hotel Galini just steps from the hotel. Breathtaking views right outside the hotel. Small but comfortable room. Host/ hotel owner was very kind and offered many great suggestions for activities and dining. The pool was nice to relax and read a book. We loved our three night stay!
Cons: Cant think of anything!

Pros: Great little hotel to stay at! The staff were so friendly and happy to help us with ordering transfers and recommending places to visit on the island. Nice location if you’re looking for somewhere a little quieter but still central. Only a short walk to the main town of Thira. Really really good sushi place next door for dinner!

Cons: The property is midway down the hill so there are quite a few stairs down & up to the rooms..worth it for the spectacular setting but something to be mindful of.

Pros: Great location. Superb view. Friendly room service staff
Cons: Room needs serious maintenance. AirCon was not functional. Fridge in room very noisy, I plugged it off. Bed not comfortable, creeping with every slight moving. Water pressure very low. WiFi erratic, very slow and often cuts off. Breakfast not up to standard at all, no fresh fruits, packet orange juice...!

Pros: Room size is great, amazing sunset views from your patio, thereby s access to a very small neighbouring ( 2 x hotels down) pool. Bed was good, iron available on request- it’s all about the location and view. We hired a quad motor bike (200 cc) and found this to be the ideal way to get around ($40 per day with full insurance from Tony’s rentals- google him). There are 2 x small market shops very close for beer, wine and nibbles. We really enjoyed this but be prepared.
Cons: Be prepared for no toilet paper to be flushed in the WC, you are required to put soiled/used paper In the trash bin next to the WC due to the island sewer system. There are many many stairs to negotiate, the complex spa was not working and even know the room had a kettle there was no coffee so I had to purchase this from the market store. We had booked a taxi through them and confirmed this the evening before as it was for 6.45 am and reception doesn’t open til 9 ish. We ended up hailing a taxi at 7.15 am which made catching our 8.20 am flight very tight and stressful, so lucky we did not have checked luggage! An early morning breakfast (paid for) was not provided either. Really did expect better/ more for the money.

Pros: Very good breakfast served to a table outside the unit with the wonderful view!
Cons: While very clean, the general upkeep of the facilities could be improved!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is amazing. Facing the caldera, 10 minutes walk from the cruise port and busy main shopping area. Well maintained little hotel. Very quiet at night. Several great restaurants and bars close by along the cliff top. Breakfast of your choice delivered to your own balcony table. Refrigerator and safe in the room. A perfect location to view the sunsets and relax. 11 rooms on 3 terraces, we had room 11 at the end of the top row. Comfortable and spacious suites, good bathroom and shower.
Cons: Beds are firm, a little softer cushioning would be good for older bones. The path down the cliff has 50-60 steps, but that's Santorini....The path down also needs some regular maintenance to remove accumulated rubbish and weeds.

Cons: Internet didn't work at all.
