The location is great, the room was nice and clean.
The reception was supposed to be open from 8am till 8pm but the receptionist was rarely present. The bathrooms were okay (there are two for a floor) but they were a little dirty sometimes and the doors of the showers were broken. And also for a whole day the water did not work.

Beds were relatively comfy. Staff was friendly. It wasn't too noisy. Curtains were thick to hide the sun.
Bathroom was often very dirty with sand and hair in thw showers and on the sink. They gave us each just one towel for 5 days. There was no window, just a big door.

Good location.
The bed was way to soft and unstable. The commutation with the staff was complicate. Wifi was average.

The room was very close to the city center - with plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops around. Very convenient for sightseeing as it's walking distance from key places in Faro (including bus/train station and ferry).

“The location of the Story Guest House is great! In the middle of the old town of Faro and close to all the nice restaurants, bars, and more. The kitchen was fine to prepare some basic breakfast in.”
“Cheap Hostel good for a short stay. Excellent location in the city center, close to major tourist attractions as well as restaurants and supermarkets. Small balconies available in the rooms.
