Small boutique hotel Great breakfast Best in Fargo
A little bit too noisy air condition but is m a light sleeper
Simple valet eliminated the downtown parking problem. My car was ready for pickup ahead of time. Loved the free wine and the balcony. Much quieter than expected, despite the Street Fair. Blackout shades worked well (turn down service). Consider shoe service whereby a guest could leave shoes outside the door overnight.
The south lamp in #3 was unplugged, but I spent a while trying to "fix" it before discovering the problem. The dark extended bed legs and my toes did not get along. Three times.
Very comfortable room; nice decor. Restaurant was very good. They had a complementary wine & cheese buffet at 5 p.m. and a basket of baked goods and coffee in the morning--all included in the price.
We have always enjoyed the location and uniqueness of the property. This reservation was a bit messed up with a glitch in the system, there was no light in the elevator making it hard to tell where you are and the room really is in need of a deep cleaning.
Cool artsy vibe; great walkable location; cute historic town
