The location was good. Snacks and drinks were available from vending machines in reception. The air-conditioning worked really well.
You can't count on being able to leave your luggage at the hotel if you arrive too early for check-in because the reception is often closed. The self check-in process is faulty. I selected the option to register with my booking.com number and couldn't do it because there was no 0 on the key pad. Other people there couldn't get their names recognized by the computer. Make sure you arrive during reception hours if you book with this hotel.
Near station, good breakfast (but very cramped serving area, eating area is fine)
The hotel is unstaffed during most of Sundays, which the staff highlighted to us when we wanted to deposit bags for an evening departure. Consequently we had to bring our bags to the train station and pay 4 EUR in the lockers there instead. It is true that the reception hours listed the Sunday closing hours, but we had not noticed it in advance so I would like to highlight the slight problems it can cause it to others.
The rooms are small but very clean and efficient. The breakfast was very good and the location was great. It is a very good value.
It is an efficient hotel but lacked comfortable chairs for sitting in the evening.
The room is very good. Hotel employees are all very nice. Service is excellent.
Nice furnishings. We could leave our bags egen we were waiting for check in and egen we had checked out. The staff was nice but a little bit stressed.
Our rom was not cleaned during our stay. Maybe it shouldn’t? But there were no info about that. We asked the cleaner who was nearby but he did’nt understand what we said. He get upset but gave us new towels and toilet paper. It would have been great with two cushion each.
B&B Hotel Erfurt places travelers in the heart of the town and just a few hundred steps from the Erfurt Main Station. Just a few miles from the famous Messe Erfurt exhibition grounds, it is also only a short walk to sites like the Angermuseum, Barfüßerkirche, Krämerbrücke, Neue Mühle, Schottenkirche, Krämerbrücke, Haus zum Alten Schwan, the Thuringian State Chancellery, and others. A short drive takes you to the Bauhaus Museum Weimar, the Buchenwald Memorial, German National Theatre Weimar, and the Bauhaus University. Erfurt-Weimar Airport is three miles from the hotel, too.
Touted as a budget-friendly option, this hotel still features a large number of niceties and facilities. It features parking (for a fee), a daily breakfast buffet, a vending area, pet-friendly policies, express check-in and check-out, a lobby lounge, and very helpful staff capable of speaking many different languages.
The rooms are incredibly modern in their design and feature such appealing amenities as free Wi-Fi and high-speed Internet services, flat-screen TVs with entertainment options, a work desk with ergonomic chair, direct-dial phones, premium bedding and linens, and large ensuite baths stocked with hair dryers, toiletries, and showers.
For the business traveler eager to enjoy a low-key, quiet and affordable accommodation, or the savvy leisure traveler looking for a centrally located and budget-friendly spot to stay while in Erfurt, it will be tough to match the quality of service and facilities found at the B&B Hotel Erfurt.
