The breakfast was as usual, and hot. Always been good with each stay. If we needed something and didn't see it, we asked the attendant for it and they helped us. We asked them if we could have glass mugs, and they complied.
Wasn't to keen on the bacon, as it was very "paper like". But other than that, it was excellent.
Mine was a business trip and found this place for the good price and reviews. Although the hotel and its elevators are a bit old, the service was very good with friendly staff and comfortable big rooms. Hotel also had a good breakfast for a very low added price.
One of the drawbacks were that there were not enough lighting inside the room (apart from a table lamp) and couldn't find a reason why not to have lighting. The surrounding area where the hotel is located has a feeling kind of deserted (not much people around for a busy city like Edmonton) and got to know it is because the main attractions in the area are not functioning now due to city renovations. But, this didn't pose any security issues to me.
Clean and comfortable room. Great value for the price.
The location is central but the area is a bit off putting with what appeared to be homeless around the parking lot.
It is always good value and great service
Over heating in the room.Night could not sleep well
