Very friendly and helpful staff, rooms are extremely spacious! Our favourite hotel of our entire Europe trip. Would definitely recommend.
Located a bit outside of Old Town Edinburgh, but easily accessible via bus or about 15-20 min walk
Just perfect
Staying at the Chester Residence in Edinburgh means that you have a lot of space in one of the older areas of the city, in fact, the hotel itself boasts about the space in the apartments as having “parish church” proportions. However, space is not the only thing that makes this Scottish hotel great, there is also incredible proximity to the famous Princes Street along with the different sites that dot Scotland’s capital city. Within the hotel, there are lots of amenities, for example, the hotel offers complimentary bottles of champagne, a turn down service, flower bouquets, grocery delivery, and several restaurants on site. You can get a fine dining experience or just head to the lounge and get yourself a nice drink after a day of sightseeing.
As for the apartments at the Chester Residence, all of them are old Georgian Townhomes that have been converted into modern living spaces. The apartments all have different capacities and belong to different buildings, but everything is kept together. The apartments are either one bedroom or two bedroom, depending on the place that you are staying. Within the apartments, the décor is chic and urban – while the hotel may exude history, the place that you would stay in has modern appliances and finishes. This is a great hotel for business people or for couples seeking a romantic getaway.
The Chester Residence is a great hotel to stay at in Edinburgh because it provides some incredibly luxurious finishes in a premium location.
