The location was great, just a couple of minutes walk from nice restaurants and shops. Amenities were great, with a nice shower.
I hate that we tick 'parking' on booking.com, but its never actually included, cost an extra £48 for parking.
Very convenient location and we were able to leave our luggage while we went for lunch then also got checked in 2 hours early which was fantastic!
Put some food in the fridge and it was slightly frozen. They need to check the temperature but not a big deal.
After what became a disastrous situation with another accommodation on the night, Stewart aparthotel were excellent in accommodating us last minute in a busy Saturday night. The staff member on duty was so lovely and extremely helpful in getting us sorted out. We could not have asked for more from him. Everything about the accommodation was excellent
Breakfast was a piece of fruit.
Bathroom shower in the room I was checked in to wasn't working. When I raised this , I was told I had to either wait till the next day or change rooms by going downstairs to create new keys for myself as there was no one available to do that for me( after I'd unpacked and changed to pyjamas for the night) ! Both options were rather unreasonable and inconvenient! On top of this , the manager kept insisting there was no problem with the showers even after a security guard had come in to carry out an independent check which confirmed my claim. I was made to feel I was making up stories . Interesting as I've stayed in 100's of hotels in my lifetime so rather experienced on how to open a shower and close it. Next morning, when I checked out , same manager , instead of apologising asserted yet again that there was no problem with the shower. This was all too stressful after I'd had a long journey in to Edinburgh to stay in this hotel! I certainly wouldn't be staying again...
