The hotel's location was ideal, walking distance to Princes Street with its major shops and attractions. The spa experience (swimming pools and rooftop whirlpool) was exquisite, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were helpful, especially the delightful, friendly chef who whipped up a scrumptious omelette for me on my last morning.
I would have preferred a liquid soap dispenser over a bar of soap in the bathroom for hand-washing, but maybe that's just me.
Friendly helpful staff. Central location. Good size rooms
Had to wait a little for our luggage to arrive at my room. But never had this problem before and l have stayed several times.
You know what you get at the Sheraton, big hotel with good facilities, the rooms and bathrooms are nice and the SPA facilities are fab - if you have time to use them. During the winter there are usually some good offers on rooms that makes it worth staying there.
There are no personal touches, it is a conveyer belt and the staff are polite but not friendly. Service in the bar area is always a bit patchy, it's hard to get the staffs' attention and the food/drink expensive for what it is. I like staying there when the rooms are on offer, however during high season it's not worth the money, plenty lovely boutique hotels in Edinburgh that offer a great place to stay for less money.
Good location and spa facilities
No pay per view movies as advertised wouldn’t have booked that room if I’d know this
The spa and food
The was lots of noise in my room because of the work getting done in another building I hardly slept during the night and the phone in my room wasn’t working properly
