Plenty of space on the room
Tap needed repairing asked 4 times and it wasn’t fixed. Room very hot fan needed for each room
Good location close to the city centre. Friendly staff who answered all my questions. Good value for money. Kitchen available for making drinks and meals with a sofa area if you wanted to socialise.
The shower hadn't been cleaned thoroughly and had clumps of hair over the shower tray. The same hair was on the desk and shelves in the room. The mattress was worn and a bit uncomfortable,
Close enough to historical sites.
Very small , quite clustered. Picture on booking site didn’t coincide with real siting. Other visitors were quite noisy, the doors bang a lot when they went in the kitchen in the late night into wee hours of the morning. Didn’t like that I had to pay for towel as an overnight one time visitor. Television didn't work in Common area, and there was no one to complain to. Windows in rooms didn’t allow for much ventilation or view.
Great value accommodation during the Edinburgh Fringe. Very easy to get around with Ubers and a great cafe around the corner.
Fire alarm at 1.30 in the night but quickly sorted out!
Fantastic view of Arthur’s Seat. Very clean Very close (within walking distance) of all the sights.
Whole place too hot, no air flow even with open windows and the windowless corridors were particularly stifling. Fans were borrowed from reception but with the windows open the noise from the nearby railway line woke us early in the morning.
