Most guests appreciated the hotel's excellent location, especially its proximity to Duke University Hospital and downtown attractions. Cleanliness and room comfort were generally praised. However, many expressed disappointment with the lack of complimentary breakfast and the additional parking fees, which were not always clearly communicated. Noise levels and dated facilities were occasional concerns, and service experiences ranged from excellent to indifferent.
