Duisburg hotels near Theatre Duisburg

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Arrived to hotel with rooms caused due to water damage. Never recieved a call or email telling us this it was 1115 pm at night. They wanted to put us in an apartment they rook us to show us apartment which was not close. Apartment was in very old run down building under construction too. It was up at least 8 flights of stair building was very dirty as was apartment. We refused then they offered another property about 19 minutes away which was actually 35-49 minutes away. When arrived there we were taken outside across ateeet to another building where the room was nice but we were alone in the building with no elevator. By then time we got to bed it was at least 1am. Then they wZnted to charge me more $ at check out when original hotel said UR would be same rate All in all it was poor service at best! I will see if they do I fact charge me more money which I will fight threw my credit card company I feel u shouldn't be charged at all for all the inconvience

Pros: The hotel was exceptionally modern and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was wonderful!

Pros: polite staff, very clean, very good location, comfort bed, and freindly service for breakfest.in general i felt good and will recommend the hotel to my freinds.

Pros: A comfortable, quiet hotel, with an exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are large and modern. The bathrooms are fine, apart the lack of toiletries (two sachets of cheap shampoo.) There's a pool and sauna, which is welcome if you have been working. The breakfast is as good as any five star hotel. There is underground car parking, which is useful.

Cons: None, apart from a tempermental internet system (which might have been a poor connection in my room.)

Pros: Hotel is located very close to Main Station and City Centre

Pros: The location of the hotel is literally in the center of the city. Nevertheless, it is very quite in the night. Additionally, the hotel participates in a environmental project where for every (I think) five towels that you reuse a tree is plant somewhere. Don't know how much impact this really has but raising peoples awareness about their resource consumption is a good thing.

Cons: If you buy 24 hours Internet connectivity, they mean 24 real-time hours from the moment on when you first log in. They do not mean 24 online hours what I was expecting. I mean, who stays in the hotel for 24 hours to be online there? That doesn't make any sense to me.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Cons: the bath tube was little high and it would be of touble for elederly people or for people with back problems.. other wise; it was okay.

Cons: Air conditioning is awful. Much too hot. Its centralised and there is no separate room control. They turn the central system off at 10pm as well.

Cons: Internet was not done. I should move to other hotel which is able to access internet. Very wrong information for the Internet. There was no person after 10:00 PM and it is not good for the guest.

Pros: Staff very, very helpful. Talked two lost and confused english businessmen through travel directions as we drove to the hotel from the edge of town.

Cons: WI-fi signal difficult to pick up on the uppermost floor.

Cons: The sound isolation is really bad, you can hear everything on the street and in nearest rooms.

Pros: The staff and food in he restuarant were very good.The room was OK,no morning hot water for two days and no coffee/tea facilities.The hotel is only 15 mins walk from the Centre,but long enough to get soaked when it is wet,.Finally,no car parking for the hotel,just possible off road.across a busy main road outside

Pros: Good comfortable Hotel a short walk from the city center, I ate in the restaurant the menu was basic but the food was great.

Pros: Very nice resturant area and extreemly helpful and friendly staff

Cons: Room 'just a bit' disapointing. Change the brown curtains and freshen up the paintwork with a bit of colour and it could look more inviting. Beds were very comfortable though.
