Pros: AMAZING . we stayed in Al Jasara, in the Junior Suite.. It was simply amazing.. From the airport collection to front of house greetings to all the staff... the interiors were fabulous, and the also Argan Restaurant was brilliant too.. Had a Massage with the incredible Pann, and my partner had the hamman with Aung... amazing all of it .. The matress was heavenly and wanted to take it with us as well as the pillows... Location perfect ..

Pros: I stayed at the Al Mirqab, one of 8 boutique hotels by Tivoli throughout the Souk. It was absolutely lovely; excellent, friendly and helpful staff, all English-speaking. Large comfortable room, everything worked and made sense. And quiet, even though it's in the middle of the Souk, with all the shopping and dining you need right at your door. I much enjoyed the guided walking tour of the Souk offered each evening, really helps you to learn more about the history of the area. I'll definitely return.

Pros: The Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels consist of 8 hotels, all in the souq. We stayed in Arumaila which is right by the pull-in for taxis and Uber which was very convenient. The location was fantastic; friends had recommended that we stay downtown or in the Pearl but we liked the idea of being in the old market area ...which compared to most old markets is clean, easy to navigate and there’s no hard sell from the merchants. The area was charming and lively at night and we absolutely loved being there. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and appointed and comfortable. The staff was excellent, everyone was kind and helpful and we felt well taken care of. The hotel provides a free walking tour of the souq at 8pm every night. The guide was really friendly and informative and provided us with a great restaurant recommendation when we asked.

Pros: The complementary dinner they gave me to overcome the problems they made.
Cons: 1) long time to do check-in, 30 mins although I checked in an hour after the offitial check-in time. So I was on late Check-in status.
2) I reserved three rooms. The first room they gave me was not ready.
3) after I left the room and come back, like 90 mins, I found out that the room service guy entered my room and took the card on the main switch, not only pulling it out. The room climet was too worm becouse of that.
4) The AC was drooping some condincate water.
5) Before I checked out, like an hour before checking out, I went to the reciption and asked them to give me a new card to make sure that it will open the room door. The reciptionest gave me a useless card and it did not open the room. This made be go back to them and ask for a new card again.

Cons: I call several time for two simple requests 8 hours before my Check In, they just transferred my call from person to person without informing their colleagues about my requests so i have to explain to each and every one what was my requests They change the shifts and they didn’t handover anything to the next shift.After 7 phone calls and waiting 1 hour on on hold and persistence they hardly make only one.Evening i went to Choices restaurant poor service the waiter non well trained they seems that it was their first time to work at restaurant.The food at peak hours finished and not replaced on time.

Cons: We booked a room with sea view but the windows were so dirty from outside that it wasn’t worthy the money extra. One of the guards at the entrance (Sunday evening) was rude. Also we found the hotel cold (restaurant, corridors, even our room after shifting the ac off).

Cons: I was put at the last floor just under the club. I was traveling for a business trip and unfortunately i couldn't sleep until 2am because of the music. They should do something about it, plus it is very annoying to find downstairs at the reception drunk and loud people that come and go to the club. I think they should do a separate entrance, this is the only thing that effects badly the hotel. Just hope that they won't put you at the last floor and reach the room before 12am, then your staying will be amazing!

Cons: The staff was not professional, the hotel was very old and dirty. The room had broken mirrors, even in the bathroom the furniture was broken. I found spots and hair in the bathtub. Terrible experience.

Cons: This place is dirty and just all around bad. Let's start with the cleanliness issues, I was suppose to be in a non smoking room, the entire floor smelt of cigarettes. When I got into my room there was an empty carton of cigarettes in the closet and cigarette ash on the furniture. The sheets had red residue on it and the chair looked liked they pulled it out of a dumpster. There were a lot of things missing from my room, I had to call multiple times for, the remote for the television was missing, things from the mini bar were missing, all the towels were missing, the in room iron and ironing board were missing. Now for the rude neighbors; I was woken at 2:30 in the morning by someone attempting to get in my room, I opened the door and a woman said sorry wrong room. Then the rest of the night this woman's children continued to run up and down the halls and slam doors. I could not sleep. The staff are unhelpful, when you call for assistance the person who comes to the room is no real help. Would never go back and would never recommend to anyone

Cons: I had to ask to change room twice, the first one was opposite a construction works, they work during the night, impossible to sleep. The second room was for disable people, horrible, I had change again. In the third one there was a permanent noise from outside, a machinery I think, and water in the shower was too faible, without pression, and not very hot, it changed hot to cold/cold to hot all the time. Do not stay in room 218, 115 and 212. Breakfast very poor.
