Cons: Beds were broke and uncomfortable, maintaince showed up when we didn't call to do work, coffee pot was broke, extension chords running across the living room floor, light bulbs out, guest bath knobs broke, balcony sliding doors extremely difficult to open, couches worn, outside alarms went off for over an hour our last morning there.

Cons: For the cost of that unit everything was terribly outdated. There was paint chipped on some of the walls. The furniture was pretty broken down from use and in the bathtub in the master bathroom there was hair left from previous occupants. Quite honestly it wasn’t worth the money.

Pros: A beautiful facility with quiet attention to details, this resort is great for families as well as the business traveler. Comfortable appointments, quiet rooms, attentive and courteous staff from the valet to the front desk, all make for an enjoyable and relaxing experience. Cuisine was expertly prepared and presented (and delicious!), and waitstaff were attentive without being pushy. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and thoughtful, hallways and public spaces are tastefully finished. Wish I had time to experience the lazy river - We will return!

The tv remote batteries were dead so had call and was fixed immediately. The telephone receiver didn’t work and there was some sort of stain on the bed sheet which we removed.

Pros: We stayed at Bayside. The room was spacious and relaxing and everything we needed was close by. The café was excellent and the spa services were divine and just in the next building! The beach was a short shuttle drive away. The resort offers free shuttle rides to anywhere on the resort which is a wonderful benefit when staying on the property, and we used them often. The restaurants on the resort were outstanding! No need to venture outside the resort unless you just want to. Sandestin has it all. Even entertainment. The first night we went to the Village Wharf and listened to live music and the second night they showed a movie outside in the wharf square. Crazy and fun! There was something every night. I definitely recommend staying at the Sandestin Resort! It has something for everybody.

Pros: This hotel is located on several acres. The view of the bay was about the only thing.
Cons: The hotel we were in is among several on their property. There was paint chipping from doors, toilet leaking all over the floor, mold on water spout for shower, seemed like an old condo they tried to make newer. Not 4 star like we asked for.

Pros: The location is great. Many places to eat and drink. The beach was perfect with chair and umbrella rental available

Pros: The only thinking enjoyed was getting a massage and that the elevator was working. Cons- theybare impersonal and the spa charged an extra 44 for a service fee. Everything is so far to get to. You either have to drive or ride the shuttle.
Cons: The housekeeping sucks. Very unpleasant experience. Online is deceiving to what you actually get. The rooms are super old and outdated. Horrible experience at this hotel. Will never book here again. Not friendly. You do not feel like a valued guest.

Pros: The kindness of the staff.
Cons: We had no internet connection the entire time we were there! We called a couple of times to the front desk and were told the property owner would be contacted and no one called back with a resolution. Also asked if there was someone on site to come and help and never got a response. Had to keep using the Business Centre.

Pros: We stayed at Bayside. The room was spacious and relaxing and everything we needed was close by. The café was excellent and the spa services were divine and just in the next building! The beach was a short shuttle drive away. The resort offers free shuttle rides to anywhere on the resort which is a wonderful benefit when staying on the property, and we used them often. The restaurants on the resort were outstanding! No need to venture outside the resort unless you just want to. Sandestin has it all. Even entertainment. The first night we went to the Village Wharf and listened to live music and the second night they showed a movie outside in the wharf square. Crazy and fun! There was something every night. I definitely recommend staying at the Sandestin Resort! It has something for everybody.

Cons: This was advertised as a resort hotel. It's a hotel room among condos. The staff is friendly enough if you can find one. No one seems to know the property and I'm not surprised because it's very confusing. Finally the Fees $60 for pool access.

Cons: Our condo was not what we expected. We have stayed in this facility before and it was great this time not so. Staff are very nice but the physical facility needs lots of work. I believe my next trip will not be back here.

Cons: Rooms outdated, problem with palmetto bugs in the room, sofa bed was horrible just ended up sleeping on the couch, constant noise people moving chairs scraping across the floor. You could hear everything all night, sliding glass doors slamming. Awful

Cons: The photos were not like it was advertised. Could not find our reservation and then gave us probably the worst room they had advertised for way below what we paid. Bleach sitting out in the hallways and dirty walls and doors. Used shampoo and lotion too.

Cons: Panhandle Tours and Sun Destin needs to get all their employees on same page. Got quit the run around when I checked in. Was told I could not get the keys because housekeeping inspections had not approved the property, was told it would be no more than five minutes. 2 hours and several phone calls got keys, by the way no one ever came to inspect in that two hours I was in view the entire 2 hours. Needless to say the start was not good do not know if I will book again next year. The next time I will make sure there is not a second party invoked in the rental this was not made at all until day check surprise there is a second party involved in the rental

Cons: The carpet had a terrible odor in the hall, the floors were dirty, furniture needed cleaning, freezer shelf rusted, TV didn't work had to call maintenance Closets were stuffed with supplies and equipment so did not have closet space.

Cons: The bathroom door was broken, so took some force to open and close. The master bed was uncomfortable with dents and unbalanced so you’d roll towards the middle. The AC unit was out on the balcony so you can’t enjoy the balcony and hear the waves, it would turn on and be so loud.

Cons: From the on-line picture provided we thought we were reserving a unit with a master bedroom with it's own balcony with an ocean view. The bunk beds in that picture were not in a hallway either. Disappointing to find that not to be the case.

Cons: Bed was not comfortable, you can hear everything outside the room and a cleaning lady just bust in our room saying her system was showing we were there only for 2 days when we had it booked for 4 nights that was very uncomfortable and then she checked her system and say they go by 2 different system and pulled my info and she apologize and say her system was wrong and left the room. Also the sofa bed was full of sand not cleaned

Cons: The condo itself definitely needs some upgrades, and overall work. The bed was all lumpy and very uncomfortable. The dishwasher was junk and thank goodness I didn't have to use it except the one time when we were leaving. The owners need to upgrade if they are going to rent it out.

It has everything you may need like a refrigerator, stove, cooking utensils and pans, washer and dryer inside the unit was a great suprise, it has cable and a balcony a good view to the beach, a very nice clean pool and jacuzzi, a very fast and efficient way to check in and out thru your phone, receptionist were also very nice, friendly and helpfull and one extra cool thing that i didnt expected was the movie rental outside the office kinda like a redbox but better because it was free!!!! Overall i was greatly suprised and sattisfied!! Thank You Grand Carribean for the Great Experience!! You made my vacation a great one!!

There was a patio just outside the back door and pool that just happened to not be open during our trip just around the corner.
It was a short walk to the beach (literally across a small street). And, the location was smack dab in the middle of Destin, so everything was within a 15 minute drive.
(Also, Uber is present out there to pick you up from the bars)

Pros: It was close to the beach.
Cons: Had major problems checking in because they did not send me room number and door code wihout me having to call the main office several times. The room wasn't ready when we did receive the required information, and it was all ready 1 1/2 hrs past check in. We had my 1 year old with us and had driven 7 1/2 hours to sit in the parking lot and wait for information to get into our condo. Oh, they also somehow had the wrong email even though I had received previous emails from them.

Cons: Was booked at the wrong hotel in a different city two hours away... spent 2 hours trying to fix this in the middle of the night with two small children crying... very bad experience. Received very minimal assistance in fixing the problem. No onsite staff. You have to call a 1-800 number to get any help with anything.

Cons: The only thing that killed my impression on this place was the cleanliness of it.
For starters, all of the tiled floor was sticky, like they used the same mop to clean up a mess then spread it across all of the floors. When I got something on a wall while cooking, the spot I cleaned with a rag ended up cleaner than the walls around it.
Towels were stained, and the dishes all needed to be cleaned before use.
Lastly, you could tell that whoever cleaned the unit, didn't look above their normal sight line, as anything above about 5'2" hadn't been cleaned in quite a while.
Such a bummer.
