I had a little problem with my dog and was without a car and the vet was not around the corner, a restaurant guy took me there waiting for me and drove me back ... I travel a lot and have been to innumerable hotels but that Hotel Noguera Mar has exceeded all. I'm speechless when I see that everyone in the hotel really does their best for the guests. The relationship between staff and guest moves on a friendly basis. It's incredible. Had I not decided spontaneously for this hotel, I would have escaped a lot. The delicious food, the friendly atmosphere and of course the wonderful beaches! I will come here again with my mother this year because I have sent her photos and she would like to experience this experience at Hotel Noguera Mar as well. Thanks again to the entire team for the unforgettable time here with you! Kisses Anna Hanser

Hotelet de la Raconà - Denia - Bedroom
8
8.9 Excellent (124 reviews)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel! The staff was so nice and helpful.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, very close to the rocky beaches of Les Rotes in Denia. Nice installations. Staff was friendly and responsive.
Cons: Our room was incredibly small. Not sure if that is the same for all, but it was too cramped, especially for a beach vacation when you bring all the wet towels and swimsuits back from the beach. The shower design can be improved. After two showers the bathroom was always full of water. Breakfast was OK, but when compared to what it's offered at its sister hotel (el Palau Verd) it was clearly inferior. Given the choice I would rather stay at the Palau Verd, owned by the same group.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at this hotel were absolutely superb. Nothing was too much trouble. The Receptionists x 2 could have not been more helpful. We had our British Airways flight cancelled just as we were about to leave the hotel and the Receptionist booked us into one of the apartments that are linked to the hotel for the extra night as the hotel was full. The hotel is in a quiet area, with a very good restaurant a few minutes away. We also ate at the sister hotel further on the main road where the food was superb. The pool was clean and quiet and our room in the hotel was very modern with a lovely terrace and good bathroom.
Cons: The restaurant was quiet at night so we did not eat in the hotel.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Room and staff lovely but when we arrived the room had no.twin beds as ordered so we had to pay extra to be moved to a room more suitable. The dinner was absolutely atrocious. The tapas starters were nice but the actual meal was dire. My steak was disgusting with one lump of mashed potatoes and four undercooked green peppers. My husband had fish and the minute portion of veg was as hard as a rock. We should have known as there was no one else there. The breakfast was miserable. Dog barking on and off all night. Seemed like a nice hotel otherwise. Lovely pool and setting and barman was very good. Very hard to find.
Cons: 200 for the night which would have been okay except for the atrocious dinner. They should get someone who knows how to cook.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house, good swimming pool, very friendly staff
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is great, a few meters from the beach. The pool and inner patio are wonderful is you want to spend to chill time. Everything is quiet and clean, and you can eat by the very cosy bar. Parking inside the hotel which helps for there are none in the streets nearby.
Cons: It is a bit away from the city, which has no aesthetic meaning whatsoever so it is not a loss of you don't visit... The place is ideal for one or two days, maybe not much because there is not much to do except relax by the pool or down on the beach (rocks, no sand).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was lovely and comfy
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff garden food ambience
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property was a traditinal Spanish building, full of character. The location of which was in a residential neighbourhood on the outskirts of Denia, on the edge of the National Park. A lovely coastal walk into the centre. Hotel restaurant very good.
Cons: Breakfast choice could have been better, but good value.
7.1 Good
Pros: Beautiful setting and lovely garden. Nice coffee

Cons: Bit out of the way but wanted quiet so not an issue really
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Traditional Spanish decor. Helpful and polite staff.
Cons: Pool area was small with only a limited number of sun loungers. To have a fridge in the room would have improved our experience. To have the bar open until midnight would help after a long walk back from the town on an evening.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a lovely peaceful place to stay just relaxing by the pool.
Cons: We had a bungalow and some of the furniture needed updating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were traveling from Granada to Barcelona after an intense week visiting Andalucía and decided to take a break in Denia. The only thing we regret is staying just one night. The hotel is right by the beach. The staff is friendly, the facilities amazing and they gave us a huge apartment for the two of us. We relaxed in the beach (they provided chairs & towels) and spent a perfect day and a half.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pretty traditional Spanish family run hotel. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Facilities excellent for a small hotel; beautiful pool and tennis court. Very nice ambiance for meals. Guests of many nationalities getting on happily together. Lunch outstanding in both quality and value for money. Beautiful beach within a minutes walk and about 15 minutes walk to central Denier. Overall, beautiful hotel and amazing value for money. Thanks

Cons: Thicker seat cushions for the metal chairs in the outside dining/drinking area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is very traditionally decorated with well appointed rooms. Very close to the beach, it also has its own private pool. All the staff are very friendly the food is fantastic. We had a problem with our car just after checking out and leaving the hotel. The hotel arranged for a Taxi to return us to the hotel so we could check in for a night while the car was being repaired. We would have no hesitation in returning in the future.

Pros: Bedroom was very comfortable. The hotel's outside areas were very pretty and provided what we required.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant staff, lovely setting ,great room
Cons: Nothing ...fab place.. a wee far out from centre..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A small, Bijou very Spanish Adults only, Hotel in lovely gardens, with a fresh, clean pool. The rooms were spacious, with a refrigerator and beds were comfortable.Lovely, quiet location, with a flat, easy 2-3 Km walk into town centre.Buffet Breakfast was varied and good quality but there was no hot option that is your preference. Safe underground Parking for many cars We really liked the furnishings and atmosphere and all the Staff had a friendly, helpful and professional disposition. We would definitely book again.
Cons: This is not a criticism but a note, as the Hotel could not help this but there were a lot of mosquitos, round the garden and pool area. This may have been the time of year(end of September), so it is worth taking Sprays, creams etc. It would be helpful to have a few more clothes hangers and drawer space.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: The hotel is quiet and restful with a nice pool and good seating areas. Our room, a Family Suite, was spacious and well equipped and the large double bed was very comfortable. The spacious terrace, with two sun loungers, table, chairs and parasol was a peaceful area to relax, although it is not totally private. The plentiful breakfast was excellent. Pros: Location. Lots of tapas bars and restaurants on this street, that comes to life after dark

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the heart of the old town. Breakfast was excellent, the staff very helpful and we thought of leaving your comments on the white wall at breakfast was a nice touch. Hotel own parking was close by.
Cons: Fiding the hotel by car was a bit of a challenge and trying to negotiate a BMW X5 through the streets was worthy of an edition of Top Gear. A tip would be to park the car at the start of the old town and find the hotel by foot first before negotiating the narrow streets for a stress-free start to your visit. Will definitely return bit with a mini.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really helpful and location was perfect, they have an outside car park for 10 euros a day which was very convenient due the small streets and lack of parking spaces
Cons: There is no lift ..and our room was on the 3rd floor so better not to carry loads of luggage.

Pros: This is definitely a place to stay! The service from the moment we arrived was exceptional. From check in to check out, there was not a problem.. The bar was fully stocked. I recommend the mojito. And the food was even better. Have the seafood paella. Its delicious. The staff were amazing, very friendly, sat at the bar one night and had an amazing conversation. The room was comfy, and the beach is literally about 40 steps from the entrance! Had a very relaxing time here.

7.9 Good
Pros: It was a nice hotel setting with the long pool area and all verandas facing the nice inside garden/pool view.
Cons: Overall it was quite narrow and often quite loud.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing at all. The hotel are outdated. The elevators are not clean nor properly maintained showing signs of deterioration. The breakfast are very expensive for the bad quality food they serve.
Cons: The hotel are outdated. The elevators are not clean nor properly maintained showing signs of deterioration. The breakfast are very expensive for the bad quality food they serve and for the EUR 15/adult and €10/ children. The location is creepy at night. The rooms are only made every 3 days and nobody has explained this at the check in. It’s not a good option at all.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice personnel, they did everything to make our stay as pleasant possible: early checkin, early breakkfast. Very friendly. Great service!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent and spacious rooms with balcony. Jacuzzi and hot water pool for both kids and adults.
Cons: Checkin and checkout time
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Easy access via a very helpful Russian guy on reception. The apartment was very well equipped and we had a welcome pack. We did not use the pool but the complex looked good.
Cons: The apartment furniture is a bit dark and needs upgrading. It was a long walk into town.
6.3 Good
Cons: The property was a bit tired looking
6.7 Good
Pros: The property is good value for money , spacious rooms well equipped.
Cons: We came for 1 night only arrived after 11pm in night check in , went to get something to eat as we had ferry to catch in the morning. Came back to hotel about half 12 in night. Wake up at 6 went to reception to leave the keys as i was thinking we leaving already but we had problem with our ferry so went back an hour later at 8 in the morning to get back the keys and get breakfast , as we did pay until 10 am and was refused to be given the keys back. The man at the reception said it was already cleaned - I’ve offer to pay as we had no where to go that early and 5 years old daughter with us and was told its not possible , Ive cried as were so knackered after a long journey from the day before and he said it nothing that he could do , so very bad situation to be in - ive offered even to pay extra just for my daughter to get some sleep . Will never treat anyone like that . I understand that i have given the keys back but there is no chance the cleaner would cleaned the room that quick and early . I wouldnt wish anyone to be treated in this way. I should have been given a refund as i dint use any of the hotel and slept 3 hours in that room. Ive travelled all over the world and never had problems . Very disappointed
7.9 Good
Pros: Good locations and nice staff
Cons: Confort
5.8 Okay
Cons: Apartment and furnishings outdated and tired (not like the one on the website), nothing special about the place, location not close to decent amenities. Would only ever consider as a stop over rather than a destination.

Pros: Dimo on reception was excellent.
Cons: Pool not open

7.1 Good
Pros: Large room with very comfortable bed and good size, well equipped balcony! Water complementary and free snacks. We did not have breakfast but it did look good and seemed good value for money although the coffee was luke warm. Lovely pool area, very clean and well maintained.
Cons: No kettle for making drinks in room. Floor was a little dusty. Bathroom had no shelving for personal items and nowhere on the sink for the soap to go.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, helpful & friendly staff, good breakfast choices.
Cons: It would be quite vital to have a little fridge in the room in order to keep one's drinks cool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very modern small design hotel with fantastic friendly staff close to the beach and only a short drive to Denia. Nice rooms, great breakfast.
Cons: We booked a Superior Room and were disappointed that it was one of only 2 rooms in the hotel without a balcony.
7.7 Good
Pros: Veryfriendly staff, rooms modernly furnitured, close to the beach. Free WiFi, good value for money. Good parking.
Cons: A bit out of town, pretty thin walls, pretty noisy architecture. Breakfast should not be called breakfast, maybe that was because of off season. (April)
5.4 Okay
Cons: We booked at Villamor but we stayed at the "rooms to let" next door, sinec we were told that it is the same hotel. IT IS NOT THE SAME HOTEL and the quality is very low. The room had no terrace, the wifi was not working, there was no safe in the room and IT WAS NOT IN VILLAMOR Hotel. When we complained we were told that these are the only 3 beds rooms they have and that it is the same hotel. There was no balcony and the window could just open a little to get fresh air. They TV was not workign and after complaining they fixed that in 2 days. I think that if we had stayed in the hotel we thought we booked !!!! that would be OK but it was very tricky that we were offered the rooms next door saying that it is the same room. Highly disappointing. Please make sure you book and you stay in the same hotel!!!!
7.5 Good
Pros: small modern in a good location
Cons: noisy bunch of wedding party goers who lacked respect for others
7.1 Good
Pros: 2 min to the sea. perfect beach. not crowded with people even in the ''high'' season
Cons: next to the hotel construction of new buildings. outside photo of hotel surroundings in booking is different than in reality. quite empty area around. does not look that nice as on photos.

Pros: All good and there’s a Centrall American type international restaurant over the road with live Cuban music.

Cons: Room a little bigger.

Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and laundry facilities. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
7.5 Good
Pros: A very clean and comfortable hotel. Good pool area and nice rooms with a good view. Very appropriate for families and children.
Cons: The food was not a highlight. Breakfast can be cold and evening meals where hit and miss. It was definitely good enough for us and what we needed as a family but i think it needs reviewing and improving. Its not an english hotel and it was very difficult to find our feet on arrival. Unclear about rules/times for pool, restaurant etc. Also very strict on towels on sunbeds often throwing them in a pile. Didnt affect us but something to note!
7.1 Good
Pros: Pool area was excellent for kids. Hotel was really nice for a 3 star. Food was okay in restaurant.
Cons: Dining room didn’t open for breakfast till 8.30am and you couldn’t get a hot drink as no facilities in room and everywhere was closed! Wasn’t allowed round pool till 9am and most of the staff struggled to speak English. Also no waiter service round pool and any bar areas!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Booked at last minute for my mother’s funeral in Dénia Only breakfast included. Arrived late at night and couldn’t get a meal or anything as restaurant closed. Nothing open near by. Couldn’t even get a cup of tea. Bar staff great Reception staff didn’t seem bothered Can’t wait to get out of here and go to stay in the villa
Cons: See above
6.3 Good
Pros: 1. Team is great. All personnel is very helpful even sometimes without knowing English basics. 2. Location is quite good. 10 min to town centre, and 5 min to the beach. However, beach is public and is not cared properly. 3. Food is tasty. You have always what to choose. Amazing watermelons, melons, and pineapples. As an option, breakfast buffet can vary. 4. Cleaning is well organized. Most of the time the room was cleaned before lunch. 5. Outdoor pool with slides and kids pool.
Cons: 1. Major disappointment - when you book Full Board and during your first meal find out that you have to pay for the drinks (even water). There was no information provided about this neither at the booking page nor during the check-in. It’s very strange and inconvenient, for example during breakfast you can have free water, tea and coffee. A big question for me - why not to provide this option during lunch and dinner. 2. Not convenient times for meals - lunch and dinner, especially if you are traveling with kids. Lunch starts at 13:30 and dinner at 20:00. For us it’s too late. 3. To have lunch and dinner without standing in the queue you have to come within 20-40 min after it starts. Otherwise you will wait for free table significant time. 4. You have to pay for beach towels - and it is not only deposit. You pay also fo each change of towels. 5. Wi-Fi connection is good only early in the morning. During the day and night the equipment doesn’t meet demands of the tourists. Rooms have to be renovated, especially equipment such as hairdryer.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable
Cons: The chairs in the bedroom were very hard.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The location and the views from the terraces are good.
Cons: The hotel is outdated, particularly the rooms. Breakfast only stars after 8.30am which is very late if you have to leave the hotel early. The internet speed is less than slow, actually it is practically nonexistent.
7.5 Good
Pros: Romero and the young woman at the front desk were so professional, helping and friendly. The rooms were nice; the balcony was great; the pool was nice; location was great; when we changed our plans to only stay 5 nights instead of 12, booking.com (her name was Charlotte) was great about adjusting it; very helpful and friendly. I would use booking.com again (much better experience than I have had with Expedia in the past).
Cons: The hotel advertised air conditioning. It was the bare minimum of A/C to be able to advertise it. The heat in the room was uncomfortable, even at night when we were sleeping. The food was okay; nothing special. Since we changed our stay from 12 nights to 5 nights, we were entitled to a refund. Processing the refund was a hassle at check-out and the guy at the front desk with the crazy hair was so extremely useless, rude and downright obnoxious. The manager came out to assist and he was no different than the guy with the crazy hair. For a manager, I expected much more professionalism from him and to handle the issue with more tact. That did not happen. Thankful, the very friendly woman at the front desk took over and knew exactly what to do to rectify the issue and took care of it quickly. She should be the manager!
7.5 Good
Pros: The room
Cons: The pool looks much better in pictures, the staff weren’t very helpful or friendly
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great plafe to stay.Great value for money
Cons: Wifi connection is frequently disrupted
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast. Staff were amazing. Very busy but always cheerful and would go the extra mile.
Cons: A kettle in the bedroom. There was a machine in the lobby but though coffee was good tea was not.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great staff Clean rooms
Cons: Everything was great. The only thing that surprised us was that they had cats walking freely in the hotel. Not good at all, especially if you are allergic. Apart from that. Really great! Worth knowing is that it's kind of hard to find parking...
7.9 Good
Pros: Really helpful receptionists. Liked the way the room was decorated, the balcony was an added bonus. Enjoyed eating breakfast in the courtyard. The central location was perfect for us.
Cons: Feel like there could've been more breakfast choice i.e. cereals & milk (for all diets), different types of croissants, pastries, cakes; different types of fruit juice; yoghurts etc. The air conditioning units need updating. We were either cold in the night, or if we turned it off, too hot.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The air-con, breakfast, staff, cleanliness
7.9 Good
Pros: The outside courtyard, the location and the staff are lovely.
Cons: Our junior suite decor may be of the period of the property but it was a little depressing. Other rooms appear to be brighter though. Perhaps the chic is a little too shabby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were super comfy and the bathrooms were spacious and well appointed. We absolutely loved the courtyard for breakfast and evening cocktails! I highly recommend this hotel!!

Pros: Everything very clean central location and friendly staff

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet and peaceful although in the centre so perfect locations for couples. Very chilled atmosphere and friendly staff. I don't think this hotel would suit small children though it's more for adults.
Cons: A menu showing the additional items you could have for breakfast if required.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A uniquee hotel in a unique and characterful old building. The staff are lovely and the location is totally peaceful and at the same time is in the centre of Denia. There are three characterful cats who will speak to you if they are in the mood and they mostly are.
Cons: Nothing really. there is no lift but it would be a shame to besmirch this wonderful old building with such a modern-day item. And the stairs are really good for you. :>)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful building with character which was represented throughout the buiding and all the roos

Hostal Cristina - Denia - Bedroom
4
7.5 Good (812 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Hostal Cristina in Denia, you'll be in the historical district, within a 15-minute walk of Denia Marina and Denia Ethnological Museum. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location. BeautifulView from room(s). (I got another room when I got fed up with the noise my neighbour was making and got another room). Nice management and cleaning staff.
Cons: The walls must be very thin, for it was easy (if I had understood the language) to follow my neighbour’s conversation on his phone... Even when I moved into the room below him, I could hear him talk and hear his music.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Two problems I faced during my stay 1-wifi signal does not come on 2nd floor 2- There should be one Microwave at some common place to warm the food.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location.
Cons: Bathroom very small. No view.
7.1 Good
Pros: - the man at the reception was great, very helpful and so were the cleaning ladies - good location with just a few minutes from where all the life is buzzing - fresh towels, sheets, shower gel and shampoo every day (but the cockroach in the bathroom...) - the wifi was ok - balcony and air conditioning - spacious room
Cons: - after we came back from the city centre, there was a huge cockroach, the size of a man's thumb, inside the bathroom. My fiance jumped out of the shower screaming and was scared to enter it again. This spoiled the trip for us, which is a shame, because otherwise the rooms seemed clean, with fresh towels and shower gel provided every day. However, this bug was unacceptable. In our country there are policies regulating such things as these bugs carry illnesses. The owners should make sure such situations never happen. - There are not enough power sockets. Literally ONE if you wanted to have the TV and fridge plugged in. One more in the bathroom. This is so easy to deal with I find the situation baffling. - for some reason the vending machine was switched off around 10 p.m. which unexpectedly forced us to go shopping for some water late at night, the coffee vending machine at the reception provided the WORST and SMALLEST cup of hot chocolate we have ever had, it was like water with chocolate aroma - one long pillow for two persons is a bad idea
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location and price
Cons: No parking, other loud guests, people leaving early making a lot of noise
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent, on a very quiet road which leads to the castle. A 2 minute walk to lots of bars and restaurants around the streets of Loreto and de la Mar. Mercadona and other supermarkets within easy walking distance. Room very clean; small fridge and excellent air conditioning. The lady who checked us in was very helpful and friendly. We were able to store our bags in the office as we arrived early. Nice view (see pic) from our window over the convent nearby.
Cons: The bed pillow is one long, very high and hard pillow so I personally found it a little uncomfortable and the showering area is very small (so hard to keep the shower curtain from sticking to me).
7.1 Good
Pros: We thought it was just a hostal without additional services but our room was cleaned and towels changed so it was a nice surprise
Cons: Only basic equipment and limited reception hours
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very basic but super clean and comfortable. A great value for the price.
6.7 Good
Cons: The whole hostel looks dark not enough light, it made it seem gloomy. Nothing to do with hostel but we could not change english money anywhere in denia. We had to go to another town.
5.0 Okay
Pros: We liked the cleanliness & the non intrusive staff.
Cons: We found that the Hotel was a little out of the way from the Town centre
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: It was close to the castle and town centre.
Cons: No hot water for showering either on arrival or next morning - staff didn't seem concerned or willing to help so cancelled second nights stay.
2.3 Mediocre
Pros: This hotel should have been around 30 euros not 70 the room had no air con or fans and it was so hot i mainly sat in the shower all night. The noice was so loud that you could not sleep. People fighting in the bar down stairs, I did not sleep all night and in fact was quite scared as on a number of occasions people who were drunk tried to get into the room i hopefully suspect through mistake or there own room. I would not recomend this hotel there are far better places to stay at the prices the ask.
2.7 Mediocre
Pros: nothing to recommend about this hotel
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Not a lot - nice balcony but not really useable.
Cons: Tiny shower, threadbare towels and sheets, hugely noisy recycling refuse collection every morning at about 1am, and then a second again hugely noisy normal refuse collection early morning. Blocked drain in wash hand basin, never anyone around to report the fault.
3.6 Mediocre
Pros: Free WLan
Cons: Small Bed and expensive price, no fridge in room
6.8 Good
Pros: Staf were very helpful
Cons:
6.8 Good
Pros: Clean, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast.
Cons: Shower a bit small but ok
4.4 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Bathroom was too small - could not sit on the toilet properly as it was partly obstrusted by a wall
