Staff, room, breakfast all were great
Elevators were extremely slow
Beautiful hotel with beach access
I liked the free local newspaper. The hotel staff are very friendly and approachable. For Spring Break tourists, the location is ideal for walking to and from popular clubs and bars.
I did not like the elevator space and availability. My friend and I had to wait a few times to get inside an elevator. There was a queue just to use it. Self-parking can be a hit or miss; depending on events in the area. Avoid self-parking during major events like Bike Week and use valet parking.
Sunset view = Street Noise
Front desk helpful and nice. Pool is ocean front. Hotel room was roomy for 4 people. Everything was clean.
We had sunset view room which is same as street view. Very, very noisy. You could even hear people talking on sidewalk below.
Comforters
Was a little displeased with not having a comforter on the bed.
Gorgeous hotel
The hotel is very nice and right on the beach. Swimming pool is heated but outside. I don't know about the rest of the hotel what room 104 was fantastic. it has a patio and access to the beach from your room.
Bathrooms extremely small
Huge issues with elevators. Only 3 for the hotel and 1 was broken much of our stay. Unable to use elevators at all during check out due to back up. Had to load gear for 3 babies by using 3 floors worth of stairs. Beautiful hotel but elevator problems are a deal-breaker.
Great EVERYTHING!
This was a great resort next to the boardwalk. You are in waking distance to the pier and food places. Once you park your car, no need to use it again until you leave! We will be back! It was just my fiancé and I, so the bar with all of the "buckets" were great! Clean, friendly staff!
loved it
The staff was amazing! Went put of their way to say hello everytime we saw someone, very attentive. We stayed an extra unplanned night because we were so impressed with their staff
How expensive their drinks were. We spent more on drinks then we did on lunches and dinners
overcharged and disappointed
The View was breathtaking
I was quoted a price of $93 I was charged 200 I was charged a resort fee of $20 I did not know about not only that they listed the spa and sauna hot tub as Hotel amenities in fact they were not they were an additional charge if you use the spa how can you list them as Hotel amenities we wouldn't never go back
Very disappointed
The resort is directly on the water and is in the heart of Daytona Beach. We were able to walk to most of the local attractions and restaurants. Parts of the hotel were well decorated and maintained, especially the conference center wing and the lobby. Some of the food options at the bar side grill were very good and reasonably priced.
My wife and I stayed at this resort for our wedding anniversary. We were very disappointed. Despite being let to believe by hotel staff that there would be some special anniversary accommodations, absolutely none were received. The hotel was very loud with spring breakers; we were woken up multiple times each night by the partying. Our entire floor reeked of marijuana and there were empty beer cans on the hall floors. The elevators did not seem to be functioning properly while we were there, for the wait times were unbelievably long. The breakfast buffet is nothing more than a cheap continental breakfast. We left the hotel every day for breakfast and dinner.
Horrible - THE HOTEL FROM HELL
Nothing
Where do I start with this place- The first room I was checked into was smelt so bad - The smell was like a pest control company just left before I got there and the carpet was still wet from being clean and it smelt of mold and must and bug spray . The bedding was stained and ripped . To make matters worse there was a drunk kid in the hallway sitting at the end near the room blasting his music . We asked for a different room and where given a different room the smell in the second room was a little better and also another drunk kid in the hallway on her phone sitting in the hallway . My partner and I decided at this point to find something to eat in the area and everything was closed . We decided to walk back to the hotel and see maybe if the bar or something was open in the hotel . We walked out side the hotel near the pool and that was a mess with beer cans and drunk people everywhere . At this point I called Kayak to complain about this and was able to get a refund when it finally hit us .. My partner had stayed at this very hotel on his spring break 31 years ago and the hotel had not changed in 31 years . This place need to do some major work and the staff is rude and need to be retrained . The staff lies to the customers about everything and the holding of funds on ur credit card . We where able to get all the money from Kayak but the funds from the hotel are still not refunded to the card and have called several times about this and get the run around this place is HORRIBLE and need to be put on HOTEL NIGHTMARES . we decided to head out daytona and head north and found a great hotel in Palm Coast .
