Staff was courteous. Quiet atmosphere. It was clean and the air condition worked well. Rooms need to be updated. The bed skirt was stained. Decor outdated. Good location.
Charging a fee for wi fi is ridiculous .Room rate was high considering room was outdated.
I enjoyed the decor in the room. It was small, but not too small.
The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were too soft. (Probably not a normal complaint, unless you have back problems and I do) We went to the Brass Cactus downstairs, which was convenient. The pricing wasn't too bad, but the service was extremely slow, and we were the only people dining at the time. The poor guy waiting on us was ALSO running room service orders as well.
Terrible Customer Service
Despite calling ahead to confirm my reservation, my non-smoking room was not available upon check-in. I left the hotel to stay at a different hotel for the first night of my reservation, and hotel management refused to refund my first night. I was told that a supervisor would call me back, but three days later, I have not received a call back and my calls have not been returned.
Short but enjoyable stay
Got a great rate for short notice stay. Room was comfortable and front desk clerks were very friendly and talkative. No issues at all with my stay.
The bedspread could have been cleaner. That is the only critique I had.
The cookies are still good
The food was good with a nice selection of options. The dining room staff were very attentive.
The room was sparse. There was only one chair at a desk. The bed was lumpy. The ice machines are located on "even" floors, of course my room was on an "odd". Floor so my choice was to use a drink machine if I wanted a cold drink.
Room not clean, breakfast bad
Location is probably the only good thing about the hotel.
What I didn't like: - No free wifi. In this day and age, charging for wifi is like charging for the water in the shower - Horrible breakfast - Need renovation urgently - Dirty carpets in room, small shower - The staff is nice but untrained There is a Hyatt House across the freeway, that could be a much better option.
Nice people. Place could use a little bit of atten
Staff was very nice. One particular name that stands out is Andre.
Air conditioning worked poorly. I nearly pulled the handle off the wall while turning off the water in the shower. The light was so dIm upon entering the room I had to turn on my phone's flashlight to see into closet. This one isn't that bad but I do not like having to travel to another floor to get ice.
ice machine on 3 floors was broken:( no internet access in rooms unless you are a frequent guest, that was disappointing.
