The room had all the facilities I needed, given the price range and that I was expecting low comfort. It was clean and the furniture was new and in good shape.
Given that the reception was close, the first two persons I talked on the phone were quite bad. The first put me on indefinite hold, and the other could not check me in and told somebody would call me soon, which did not happen after 20 mins of waiting. However, the third person was very nice and helped me self check in.
I asked for a double bed and i got two single beds, there was no internet in the room and they asked me to pay a faily fee if i wanted to use it, i paid 180euro and you cant even give me access to internet. More over i landed there before checkin time which was at 15:00 but they said my room was not ready, but i heard the staff talk and say everyone had cancelled so the rooms must have been free, so i had to wait. I even heard them make fun of the people who cancelled. I left a day earlier, because i was so disappointed. I wish i never booked and i wish to get my money back
Location is good (just a bit off the center but easily walkable) and everything was good and clean. Great option due to the affordability in Copenhagen!
The main thing was that the room (we had a room with two bunk beds, for 4 people) was very tiny, and there wasn’t’t much space to walk or change, as we all kept bumping into each other - but a great option for a few nights.
The price was good. Location easy to access. Staff friendly.
Room and toilet could be more clean. Bunk bed are not optimal. Room too tight.
One of the cheapest hotels you could find in Copenhagen. 5 minutes walking to the Metro station. All in all, it can be taken into consideration if you just want to find a place to have sleep during travelling.
Sometimes it makes you awake at midnight or hard to fall asleep till midnight because of noise made by young people outside the windows.
With a stay at Hotel Copenhagen, you'll be centrally located in Copenhagen, a 4-minute drive from University of Copenhagen and 5 minutes from Copenhagen Opera House. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and ATM/banking services. Free self parking is available onsite.
