Cons: The room never cooled properly, so it was difficult to sleep at first. Fortunately, we faced the golf course rather than the parking lot, so we were able to open the sliding door to allow cool air to breeze through.

Lots of good outside lighting, nice balconies and other places to sit, lots of pool chairs and plenty of towels. Drinks by the pool were available so that's nice but I wish frozen ones were included. The grounds were beautiful, very well kept. I love the look of the place. Hot tub was nice. My kids enjoyed the nice gym, steam room and jacuzzi. Good shampoo and conditioner. Mountain view nice.

Cons: The pool closes too early. Breakfast should be included. We asked for a one hour later checkout and was told it would be 50$. Food too expensive. Spa jacuzzi closes too early also. Operator/guest relations too busy to answer the phone on two occasions. My refrigerator leaked. Ice machine on Dove Creek 2nd floor didn't work the whole two nights. No frozen drinks available by the pool. It seems staffing should be increased a little. Could use more vending machines. When my son went to find ice one of the ladies with blonde hair was very rude to him in the kitchen area. He was directed by housekeeping to ask there and she said he couldn't go get it himself and not to listen to the housekeeping guy bc he "doesn't speak English". We are Latino so that was especially sharp. No microwaves in the rooms. One single waffle was 13 dollars!! I find that excessive.

Cons: The hotel charges a resort fee which includes pool and water activities at its beach. The resort fee is not optional, but unfortunately, we could not use the outdoor facilities because both pools were absolutely filthy cesspools, and they only had three or four paddle boards for the entire resort full of guests. The paddle boats were not maintained and full of filthy water. The advertised “water activities” were a joke. I was a bit angry to have to pay extra for “resort amenities” that I could not use.
