The building is very cozy and the room is great. The village is not specifically suitable for walkers but traffic is little, so it’s okay to take a walk around to see old houses and vineyards right next to the village. We arrived on Thursday when the hotel restaurant had a day off. The restaurant nearby is open at 6pm but fully booked. So we drove to Turkheim 2,5km away. There are more restaurants there and we had great food after all.

We are thankful that we stayed in this small village while we explored the region. Everything and everyone were very nice. We did not eat the breakfast, but it looked good. There is a nice bakery/shop across the street. Parking was also convenient.
Not many restaurant options in this town but several very nearby (3 miles or so).

Anna gave us such a warm welcome and we loved our stay. The town is like something out of a storybook, so cute. The room was super clean and comfortable. The hotel was historic, interesting and charming.
For us it was perfect. It was a very small town, some people might find it too quiet.
