Our room was small but had everything we needed. The breakfast was really good with homemade products. The owner was really friendly and communicative. We would stay there again.
We arrived after a bit of a drive on a very hot day, we checked in and decided to eat at the restaurant. The outside dining area was relaxed and comfortable with the sounds of water flowing past the patio. We were very impressed with our meal, it was amazing! The bacon wrapped pork was very tender, the sauce was perfect, and the roasted potatoes were wonderful. During our stay we slept in a downstairs family room and it was cool, quiet, and comfortable. We loved sitting outside on the terrace and listening to the water from the stream next to the hotel. We slept peacefully all night. Breakfast was included with our room and it was well worth it. It was a regular European breakfast of cheese, meats, bread, and yogurt. The homemade accents made it spectacular. The owner made home made jams and jellies that were delicious, we had an extra piece of toast to sample the jelly again! The homemade champagne was a great compliment to our morning meal as well. I made my last day in Germany special this year.
I wish I could have stayed longer! It was wonderful!
The hotel was in a great location near the cochem center. The facilities were great, the breakfast was very good and the hotel was clean. But the best part of the hotel by far was the owner! He was so nice and helpful and so was his staff. They made the stay even better! I wish we could have stayed longer!
I have absolutely no complaints about the property!
Great Wine and even better host. Frank was very informative and helpful!
