9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location. Staff. Beach. Food. Golf. Evening life music.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: - Beautiful designed hotel - Large comfortable rooms with big shower room and balcony - Outstanding and diversified breakfast buffet - Extremely friendly and helpful staff - Plenty of street parking around the hotel
Cons: - Hotel is clearly targeted to older people - Location is a hotel neighborhood rather far from Cadiz. Nice and by the sea but not very authentic. - Avoid the restaurant Cataria as it is ridiculously expensive for the poor quality
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is perfect!
Cons: Nothing, all was great.
7.1 Good
Pros: Proximity to beach. Access to adjacent hotel's kids facilities. Food quality.
Cons: Receptionist's ipad did not have a field for my nationality and receptionist insisted it was my problem to resolve, not theirs. Trousers for dinner was also OTT and no pre-warning. If you go for board option you do not get a credit if you eat at the other restaurants in the hotel (which is a shame).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely friendly staff, great and luxurious morning breakfast buffet, beautiful views, great pool
Cons: that I had to pay additional for the sunbeds on the beach - this should not be an "extra"
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, excellent service and food. Beautiful location by the beach.
Cons: Quite expensive, but worth it.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I even do not know what to write. Everything is on top-level. Meals are perfect, variety of foods is above your imagination, service is really perfect. A separate "thanks" from my 6 y.o. daughter for a great childcare-camp in the partner hotel! Should I spend another vacation in this area - will come here again with the pleasure.
Cons: Area to improve - hang a wall-clock in the inner swimming pool. Otherwise the swimmers might miss their dinner :) The only complaint was - we had leakage in the shower faucet. We notified the receiption, but still noone came within these 4 days of our stay.
7.1 Good
Pros: I enjoyed the freedom to move between the sea and pool. I feel it is an easy option have the dinner buffet though disappointed that coffee is not included in the 30euro dinner buffet. I believe it is not a big cost for the hotel.
Cons: If you have rules no ball games in pool it should be enforced. Every day the same people were throwing a ball and it is not acceptable, if the rules state no ball games the rules should be strictly controlled as with the other rules.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, especially Adrian at reception. Couldn't do enough. Above and beyond
Cons: Nightly entertainment a little lack lustre.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, tranquil and enjoyable hotel with lovely garden and pool area located nearby beautiful beach. Excellent breakfasts and pleasant, efficient staff. Good entertainment in evening and also at separate beach restaurant/ bar.
Cons: In our opinion meals/snacks at poolside bar becoming a bit expensive and quality tailing off compared with previous years and other facilities in general area.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beach property! Staff were nice.
Cons: Somehow few things needs improvement! Cannot point out exactly! Average staying experience!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything! Easy access to a beatiful beach, fantastic food, very freindly and helpful staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great great bed
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent attentive staff, spotlessly clean and a beautifully presented hotel and grounds.
Cons: The only disappointment was the A la Carte restaurant. The food was disappointing having regard to the price.
6.7 Good
Pros: Food. Cold and not very fresh to expensive for the quality
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing quiet hotel .. relaxed crowd , amazing staff, especially luiza from reception! And rest of staff in every facility very proffesional, helpful and friendly
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Buffet with a wide selection of food, beverages and wines. Staff was always very competent and professional. Wi-Fi was excellent even in the pool area where it's crowded during this time of the year and it's outside. Finally the location is excellent. It's nearby the beach and a small village which can provide you good access to all services you may need.
Cons: Hot water didn't met the expected standarts at least in the room I stayed. Hot water was not constant during the showers and during the whole trip. Pressure was always constant but the sudden changes in temperature were very annoying, also this happened regardless the time of the day. The situation did improved after one report but it was never solved at 100%. Whatever that has been done it was OK for a workaround but definitively a permanent fix has to implemented in the future. The staff was always very profissional and competent regardless of the report I made.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. Tony at The beach bar was always interesting and gave good local suggestions. Amazing beach 3 mins walk away
Cons: For a quality hotel little things like paying for the safe, not enough parking closer (without paying expensive daily rate) and paying to weigh cases before flight were all frustrating. There could also be more choice for vegetarian main courses at lunch and dinner
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ocean location
Cons: Too large

Pros: Everything was wonderful...Great staff ....the sub director Santiago was fabulous .
Cons: We had the most wonderful time in this amazing hotel...simply perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is just perfect, it’s the fifth time and will definitely be back again!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Food was amazing Staff
Cons: I was very angry about the air conditionning because i felt really hill as it was far to cold. The pool was very cold too
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic staff and beautiful hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gardens, pools and proximity to the beach
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely rooms. Great staff. Beautiful beach with excellent chiringuitos
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were outstanding! The reception staff, waiters, bartenders, cleaning crew - they were all friendly, smiling and nothing was ever too much. We felt welcomed and like they were happy to have us which made us feel happy and relaxed. The buffet was varied and high quality, the cocktails were strong and the facilities (especially the spa) were top notch and clean. We will definitely be back!!
Cons: We have only one complaint and it was that the price for beer was high compared to the area. If the prices were lower, we would have ordered more from the resort instead of going outside for beer. That said, we think the cocktails were fairly priced and made deliciously!
9.6 Excellent
Cons: We were not happy with Brasserie restaurant, as there was no proper explanation of different types of meat served, so it was just blind guessing when choosing, and secondly, the special meal of the day served - Galician meat - was just raw and looked horrible even after cooked longer. We were not the only ones that evening who was clearly not happy with food quality.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: 5 pools were all lovely - the adult pool was huge and plenty of sun beds and shades. Room was luxurious, bed was comfy and bathroom was huge with large bath and shower. Breakfast was amazing with even a smoothie bar, can’t think of anything else they could have offered.
Cons: Would have been nice to have an adult bar area - outside on a terrace perhaps. While we stayed the sunset bar closed quite early and the bar in the hotel was inside.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: On the beach which had chinguitos and great sunsets!!- we had dinner, bed and breakfast option with use of the buffet restaurant - great selection of foods including gluten free - healthy options always available - the fresh cook chef was fabulous and so friendly - say hello to Miguel from me!! Bed very comfy and the shower gel etc were lovely - There was a large spa with jets and saunas, steam room and hammam which needs to be booked and costs Euro 20. The resort, even though full felt spacious with lots of pools and sunbeds. You can order food and drinks from your sunbed!! Pilates and yoga available and bike hire. We cycled to the marina about 6 miles away and found some fabulous fish restaurants - the route was quite flat with slight rise towards hotel. Golf was typically expensive Euros 65 each plus buggy - but buggy not necessary as they are mostly quite flat. We went to Cadiz for a trip to the old town where we had coffee in the Parador hotel and around there you will also find fabulous fish restuarants. The old market is worth a visit too!
Cons: The bike hire shop was quite a trek to get to and the quality of bikes was poor. There is another bike hire company nearer in the closer commercial centre who had new bikes - may cost little more but worth it - Although the spa itself was good it was a little tired and felt drab I had a massage which was not good - gloopy oil was rubbed over my body - not a massage and when the girl left I wiped it off - I felt like a chicken being prepared for a Sunday dinner!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is just perfect!!. Amazing place to stay. The decoration in all the hotel is beautiful. The staff is very polite, respectful and very kind, according to the category of the hotel. Breakfast is very complete and very good quality. The atmosphere in the hotel is quiet so it is the perfect place for resting and enjoying the beauty of the hotel and the beach. I’ll be back for sure.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Just wonderful all around
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow excellent everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fab hotel def 5 star def going back !
Cons: Nothing all good
6.7 Good
Cons: VERY unprofessional and untrained staff!!!! The accommodation was a gift and I asked them to not charge the guests. They had a problem with my card, with which they even didn't try to charge me and in the end, after a lot of emails they didn't contact me or reply for confirmation and they charged the guests without asking me. After I had a talk with the receptionist, they couldn't give a me a good reason for all this unprofessional behavior.I never will send anyone or go myself there again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location , plenty of sunbeds breakfast was good
Cons: buffet dinner was not up to our expectations considering the price paid
7.5 Good
Pros: Perfect Location with access to the beautiful beach. The Duna beach bar is an added facility a lovely spot to have a drink and to watch the sun go down. Rooms very clean and comfortable and of a good size.
Cons: Disappointed that the beach bar was only open for drinks and not serving any food.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: My expectations was met, 100% satisfied
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was first class! This was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The room was fabulous. The sea view was great. Dinner outside in the courtyard was memorable. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of cava in our room for our anniversary. The staff were very polite, helpful, friendly, service oriented and obviously very well trained. We’ll definitely be back.
Cons: We liked everything.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Very clean. Excellent setting. Excellent food. Entertainment very good.
Cons: As a wheelchair user there are some things that need improving _ the accessibility toilets were not always accessible because the doors open inwards and once the wheelchair is inside the toilet there is no way of closing the door. The doors would need to open outwards, which they did in some cases. _ the handle on the toilet doors would need to extend further across the centre of the door because sitting on the wheel chair means you cannot always stretch enough to reach the handle. _ the towel hooks and shelves in the bedroom bathroom were far too high and totally out of reach. Having them at a much lower level would solve the problem.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lots of space! Big but good lay out! Almost always sunbeds available—keep sunbed hogging rule enforced!! Pool and entertainment good!!
Cons: A little isolated made worse by parking issue!! Parking situation for guests really needs addressing!! Some cars sat for our entire week unmoved—perhaps they can be offered special parking if they never going to use car while there! Paid parking is too expensive at €22 per day—most visitors that we spoke to thought the same!! For us it would have been less isolated if we were able to move our car and know we wud get to park at hotel on return—often had to park 10 mins walk in the heat!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: There was no facilities foe have very hot milk to make your own coffee in the Restaurant for breakfast as the hot milk they serve you in a ceramic small jog is not hot enough but it's normally like this in most hotels where I have to make use of their microwave to reheat the milk so I can have a good HOT cup of decaf coffee so when I got back home today I immediately made a good cuppa which I might shed so much but I have visited many hotels in other parts of the world who normally have these facilities in your room but apart far that this hotel is 2nd to none
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location right next to beach. VAVA beach club was really great. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Comfortable bed. It was my birthday and the hotel gave us cava, cake, fresh fruit and chocolates plus a special treat of a massage in the spa. Thank you hotel Valentin for a very enjoyable stay!
7.9 Good
Pros: Location with beach nearby Two pools with one being quieter with less kids activities, Good restaurants within hotel complex, Handy pool bars with friendly staff
Cons: Had an issue with ants in our room. There was severely limited free parking around the hotel The buffet was expensive if you had not booked half or full board options.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice people, very clean room, delicious food
Cons: There was a strange smell in the room
7.9 Good
Pros: Good food but after few days menu became predictable thenagain a lot of variety of food was available. Beach was nice with a good bar and food if you want lunch would highly recommend to pre reserve a table very good
Cons: Few ants in the room due to cracked gaps on tiles grouting any crumbs on the floor would see more and became a problem to walk around to dodge especially with 5&7 year old kids but rooms did get cleaned daily which helped
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was top notch except for a tiny mishap on the last night. Our room was lovely and clean, the staff was brilliant and it is a great location. The variety of food was excellent, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. Bar prices are very reasonable considering the star rating of this hotel.
Cons: As I've said, a slight mishap on the last night over, can you believe it, a half bottle of Barbadillo. My wife, having bought a bottle of the said wine at lunchtime, asked for it to be sent to our dinner restaurant using the normal id collar. We'd actually done the same the night before with no problems. Unfortunately, staff couldn't access the bottle in time for her meal. Eventually the manager was called and his attitude was rather rude, arrogant and condescending. In fact, he gave a very poor example of public relations in front of his excellent junior staff. In the end, he granted us the half bottle, something he could have done right at the very beginning without the hustle. A public relations lady was waiting for us when we were about to leave. He'd informed her beforehand knowing there would be a complaint. She was lovely and took note of why we had complained. Look, everybody can have an off day, I suppose . I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will certainly return. It takes more than a restaurant manager with an arrogant attitude to put me off if everything else was excellent. I will certainly be back.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have just spent the weekend at the hotel and from the moment we arrived it was nothing short of exceptional. The reception staff were excellent. the room which was allocated to us was excellent with all the amenities and cleanliness that would be expected. The room was exceptional with views out to the sea. the breakfast buffet was scrumptious and delicious. The relaxation facilities were very good. and the evening supper exceeded our expectations in respect of quality, variety and service. All Staff members who we came into contact with were very attentive and professional ranging from Reception, Cleaning Staff, Restaurant hostesses and waitresses.
Cons: There is nothing to dislike. I found this hotel to be everything that I expected it to be.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and buffet were very good though I went to have pancakes on the second day ie on the Tuesday and they were not doing them again till the following Sunday.
Cons: Had to request mattress be changed as it was slanting on one side. It was replaced immediately. Also toiletries are quite poor compared to other, even cheaper, hotels.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location near ocean, spacious room, clean hotel. Very bad breakfast, undercooked eggs, awful coffee, need some upgrade. Buy new coffee machines and small pans for eggs( much better breakfast at Barrosa park, do at least this one) . Less is more, big variety of food with poor quality is worse, than less food but top quality
Cons: Choose Barossa park, value for money and good breakfast, new hotel. This one is more for families over 50. You will also need to pay for sun beds 12 € every day
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were always on tap and very friendly
Cons: Mattress could’ve been more comfortable and proper king size bed wouldn’t been nice
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property is right by the beach with easy access through the pool area. The night entertainment was great!!
Cons: For a beach centered hotel, the lack of basic hair conditioner in the bathroom, even after asking for it specifically was for me a huge drawback
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Paid for buffer eve meal due - lukewarm mass catered food . Fresh water should be made available to guests - not happy about paying €2.40 per small bottle of water . Most hotels - at the price we paid would provide complimentary water to guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great located on a gorgeous beach (best of them all) the hotel is a great destination. Spotless, good restaurant & great entertaining every evening. Very good SPA services and outside pool was quite nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a private pool on our balcony/terraced area and I would recommend this to anyone looking into this hotel. The choice at breakfast was amazing as well.
6.7 Good
Pros: Room very comfortable.shower excellent, breakfast very good. Ana on reception very good.
Cons: Found that only a few staff spoke English. To the extent greeted in German in a Spanish hotel. Hotel caters predominantly for German guests and was sterile and lacked character. Pool aerobic instructor spoke German only during classes. Leaving letter on bed in German 6 paragraphs whilst English on reverse edited down. Car park very full. People from poolside walking through gym to use toilets.
7.1 Good
Pros: Very good beach & decent shops & restaurants 10 minutes walk away.
Cons: Nightmare parking & no assistance offered .... long queues to book in or out, very few reception staff on duty & not very efficient. Limited places to eat just the self service & the Pool a la carte restaurant at night is empty - very annoying you have to oder the special menu 24 hours before....nobody tells you ! The bar area was very quiet but pleasant & live music average most nights. But lovely beach even if down a wooden walkway slope & a long walk uphill back to hotel.

7.9 Good
Pros: Great location, friendly staff and good entertainment
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Family friendly, good breakfast, clean, close to the beach, great pools
Cons: The animation program was right in front of our windows, was way too loud and finished only around midnight. I could not sleep until it was finished. Ask for a room far from the scene. Also our aircon did not work, so I could not close the window.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The spaciousness, cleanliness and pleasant staff
Cons: There wasn't anything we didn't like
7.1 Good
Pros: Breakfast buffet was amazing :)
Cons: Not good enough for families with kids. They didn't particularly enjoyed the stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ideal location, breakfast very good lots of choice.
Cons: Too many Germans
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great staff and excellent food. Go for half board. Very nice beach, nice courtyard. A classy hotel.
Cons: Rooms a bit out-dated, a door not closing well. Still in a very good condition. They will refurbish next year. Hard to find a parking if you arrive late. Price a bit high.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The newly refurbished hotel was brilliant, as were the facilities, the staff and the food. Highly recommended!
Cons: The fact that at 9 a.m. all the pool loungers were taken with towels and no one on them was the only downfall. We were lucky enough to hire a Balinese Bed for the four days we were staying and they were brilliant. Some of the "reserved" loungers were not used either until early afternoon and some at all. One family where reserving them overnight!!.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice breakfast, good selection of food and by far the friendly staff from domestic to waiters bar staff and reception .
Cons: It’s not that we didn’t like but we felt that more supervison is needed in the indoor swimming pool, especially when kids are left on there own.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location right on the beach which was beautiful. Half hour drive into the beautiful city of Cadiz.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic mini kitchen in a family room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, great food, nice entertainment, child friendly environment
Cons: Electric installation in the room 2105 was a bit dodgy

Cons: Nothing
6.7 Good
Pros: not bad
Cons: food could be better
7.9 Good
Pros: Good selection at Buffet breakfast, wide selection of hot and cold foods and freshly prepared omelettes to order. Very helpful dining room staff. Lunch and dinner also a very good selection with a choice of 4 grilled options prepared while you wait. Tremendous selection of fruits and desserts.
Cons: We would have liked to have shower and changing room facilities for us as we had to check out before 12 noon but stayed on all afternoon to take advantage of fine weather, but had nowhere to shower and change as some other hotels provide. More availability of walk-in shower facilities would also be helpful, only 4 rooms available for disabled persons or persons with mobility problems who are unable to get into a bath.
7.9 Good
Pros: Room and swimming pools are very nice, splendid buffet!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, food, pools, beach, cleanse, awesome
Cons: Maybe the schedules (dinner from 19:30 to 22:30)... the best hour to go stay in the pools they close (19hs)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great selection of food at the buffet dinners and of high quality. Some really nice pools and entertainment.
Cons: The fee for parking your car in the hotel garage was extortionate at 30 Euros a day.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Near a beach and a promenade.
Cons: I was hoping for a balcony. Some room have them, but our room didn't.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The setting of the apartments was fantastic, 2 storey buildings around a very well kept pool. Plenty of car parking on street, but underground car park only 5€ for 24 hours. 2 roads up from beach and plenty of eating places just across the road. On site restaurant served nice breakfast at reasonable price. Comfortable beds, big fluffy towels, effective heating and cleaning service every day, which is not common in lots of apartments. Friendly staff.
Cons: Mirrors please!! Only one in bathroom. Surely one in the bedrooms could be added! Also a definite shortage of sockets in apt. There was only one in our bedroom, and that was half way up the wall so no good for charging phones, tablets etc etc. Wine glasses would have been nice too. Don't really like having to drink wine from a tumbler.
6.3 Good
Pros: breakfast was listed as possible but we had a closed restaurant the whole week.
Cons: we were almost alone in the aparthotel and slept next to the street side and the other guests. we heard everything.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, excellent breakfast, terrific location and safe car parking
Cons: Extremely uncomfortable bed; both my wife and I had very significant back pain each morning we woke
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect, right across from the beach and restaurants. I could see the ocean from my window! It was quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a great stay!! Would definitely stay again!
Cons: I liked everything! It's not fancy, but very nice and comfortable, with everything I needed.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bed was comfortable and there were adequate bedding. The facilities were all to a good standard and very accessible.
Cons: Get rid of the bidet it's the elephant in the room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I liked the facilities and location.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that I made a reservation for 6 people (the apartment we got was for 6 people) but when I got there, I was informed that the complimentary breakfast was only for 3 people. It is ridiculous, why would they offer only 3 breakfasts for a 6 person apartment?
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We loved the help we received at the day of arrival, when we couldn't find the hotel. The receptionist even offered to go out with her own car to to guide us to the hotel. The address offered by Expedia.com isn't sufficient. The same receptionist advised us to good restaurants and beautiful villages nearby and a lot more. The little town Sancti Petri is relative quiet and a beach completely free of large hotels.
Cons: An address that would be recognised by our gps-app.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. We liked the location of our room with a little bit of sea view. The friendliness of every single member of staff that we had contact with. The apartment was spotlessly clean.
Cons: Would have been nice to not have to pay 10 euro per night for parking.
7.9 Good
Pros: The check-in process was very smooth, even though we arrived a little early The water pressure was amazing The room also had a small garden at the back
Cons: The room floor and kitchen could have been cleaned a little better The chairs in the kitchen were a little dirty It wasn't very clear which towels were face towels and which ones were mats to put outside of the shower, so I was reluctant to using them for my face.

Pros: Location and spoken for my 1.5 year old daughter, the water park!!!! She loved it
Cons: The water park floor should be of a different material, anti slippery. My daughter fall like 5 times. Of course that was not an impediment to enjoy it :)

Cons: The food was not warm enough at times
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The range of choice of food. The fabulous variety. The freshness of it all. The organisation. Lovely staff all round. Helpful and professional. Love the old part of the hotel better.
Cons: An extra toaster and maybe coffee pots at breakfast that retain the heat but otherwise all lovely. The apartments could do with a few tea/coffee/sugar satchets to welcome you. Supermarket across the road so again, no real drama. Microwave in A210 needs sorting. Room tight space-wise but fine for what it was needed for. Pool towel changes are from 12pm. Seems late time to change wet and sandy beach towels. Afternoons were spent at the beach until late so again 7pm towel curfew a tad late for some of us. Pools open at 11.. unsure if that just meant lifeguards on duty but again..it's hot & its summer..
8.3 Excellent
Cons: THE matress on the bed was sinking and there were a few ants in the room.

Pros: Good location only a couple of minutes walk to the beach, shops and restaurants.
Cons: Breakfast is not available. Parking is on the road outside the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location. The place is a traditional finca with lovely dechor and yard.
Cons: Nothing to add.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location was good, very close to the beach. There is lot of restaurants in the area.
Cons: The staff couldn’t speak any English. Awful smell in the bathroom, like old eggs or something. Our room was very dark.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: A great little place with only 12 rooms. The staff were absolutely lovely and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. I had hurt my back and had limited mobility before we arrived so needed a downstairs room which hadn't been allocated. This was no problem at all and we asked if it was possible for both a fridge and a laptop which appeared the following day. Lovely gardens to sit in and read a book with a glass of wine and very close to the beach.
Cons: The air con and electricity was a bit hit and miss at times.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Best I think location and value for money. Comfy bed The small balcony in the room Plenty of outside space in their own grounds
Cons: just little things like (if being picky) no toiletries and no normal tea or coffee in the room (just decaf coffee and flavor teas)
9.0 Excellent
Pros: location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Only a one night stay. The hostel is in a perfect place to walk to the beach of Barrosa and for all restaurants and shops, you don’t need to use your car. Easy parking on the road outside. The rooms are very clean and well equipped good mattress and excellent pillows with crispy white sheets smelling fresh. A TV with Spanish only. A kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits of the region. Towels and soap, no shampoo. Great air conditioning. A little alcôve outside private area and also a communal patio/garden. A mini fridge to keep your drinks cool. What else would you need. No restaurant but you don’t need as cafe just 2 steps away. I would really recommend.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: great place to stay , close to the beach and nice places to eat. friendly staff.
Cons: nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location, close to everything but still very quiet. amazingly clean, great shower, and a fridge and kettle in the room. I would say it was 10/10 perfect apart from the bed which was very firm, but that’s my only slight negative.
Cons: Bed too firm for us.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything. The room was nice and comfortable, also very clean, and it had most of the amenities you need (no hairdryer though). The hotel is really beautiful. What I particularly liked was the fact that they have bikes available (free of charge), which were super useful to visit a beach that was a bit further. Staff really professional and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Next to parque naturale, great for walks and birdwatching. Nice room and bathroom. Nice and clean. Pool good

Pros: Muy limpo y comodo, lo recomendaria. Definitely recommend it, it was clean, friendly and comfortable. Great value
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy bed, clean and appropriate premises. Great value for money and friendly staff.
Cons: The hotel was a little further than expected from the beach, but definitely not in a bad area and was a short car ride. Worth the distance due to the price.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very friendly staff, good food, clean big rooms, had a view of the oceanic was a good surprise.
Cons: The Internet quit in the evening and the staff were unable to overcome the situation, for business travellers internet is essential.
6.2 Good
Pros: Room was clean and quite nice. Good wifi, location is ok too. Guy was friendly I'd say ye do stay here ... Depends what you want I guess. If your English, and want to be nearer the beach and have English speaking staff and a good breakfast, got to the lovely iberostar a few KM down the beach.
Cons: Typically Spanish and rather a cold feeling room, breakfast sucked!!! Friendly guy behind reception but spoke NO English, I was there one night only so didn't matter. And Taxi makes sense in any language. But he was smiley. Also maybe pull your trousers up and tuck your shirt in? But that is just my opinion, didn't change the fact the hotel is quite nice really. Breakfast needs sorting out. Eggs, and self serve coffee as I was unable to explain to him what I eanted. More than one ham and one cheese. If it was inclusive I wouldn't complain but I paid extra!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, good breakfast and well located!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and quiet area, clean, shops and supermarkets nearby, nice pool

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The one bedroom apartment diagonal sea view was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The room was cleaned daily. The balcony had plenty of space to enjoy meals and drinks. The pools are great and the property is on a beautiful stretch of beach. Plenty of restaurants in the area.
Cons: The only thing I did not like was the two twin beds pushed together. It would have been nice to have the option of a real double king sized bed. Can't complain as that is how the room is advertised.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and entertainment for kids
Cons: Limited vegetarian food variety, beds not comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about the place ❤️
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Superb food.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Stylish and contemporary in the Centre of the city.
Cons: What was confirmed by the property to me did not happen e.g requested a double room and an early check in. Also asked for a quiet room but that probably isn’t possible so near the Centre.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is superb, and the private access to the beach is an added bonus. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment was a decent size and I was pleasantly surprised by how well-equipped the kitchen was. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable stay and I would most definitely return.
Cons: There was really nothing that I didn't like!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed in Hotels either side of this one many times and know the area well, the location is superb for a relaxing break with superb beach and a good base to visit area. We thought we'd give the las Dunas a try for a change and it was lovely, very good size apartment with a very clean modern kitchen area which looked brand new, like it had just had a refit I think it had just recently been done, large seating area and balcony with a partial sea view for the side which we did'nt expect. Nice bedroom with plenty of storage and good firm bed. superb well fitted bathroom with walk in shower which also looked like it had just had a recent refit, shampoo and gel replaced daily, we noticed after checking in that we only had a hand towel reported to reception and we had towels within the hour, the staff in all areas were polite and helpful. The garden areas are quiet and well kept you can use your room key to leave through gates to go to the beach or use the path between this Hotel and the Valentin next door. We booked half board and found the food to be of a good standard for the money we paid, the breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice and your eggs cooked as you wanted them by request, the lady cooking was helpful and friendly. The evening meals were not a huge choice, but always well cooked and presented, very fast service with friendly staff, drinks at dinner were not over priced by Hotel standards. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here.
Cons: The food was fine, but one evening there was a superb baked pork joint (roast} but nothing to eat it with like veg. next morning at breakfast in the hot dishes there were sprouts with bacon bits and roasted potatoes, just thinking were they for the previous evening

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Large comfortable apartment
Cons: Actually finding the place in the first place!
9.6 Excellent

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location, staff and facilities were great. No issues would come again but to a different block.
Cons: Early morning coaches picking up from another hotel, engines running for ages.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, clean place. Very quiet, with nice garden around. Big terrace. Very comfortable beds.
Cons: Kitchen could be equipped better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All of it. Clean, quiet, good food.
Cons: No complaints at all.all of it
4.6 Okay
Pros: The staff were friendly and pleasant grounds with alot of well kept plants and trees.
Cons: The room was very noisy, ants in bed and all over room. Apartment very old and worn. The buffet had a very limited selection of food, found it hard for the family to find something they liked.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice territory and free parking nearby
Cons: No teapot and not so comfortable place in the apartment for 4 people as the couch in the living room is not so good for 2 people, it’s better for only one.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very polite. Rooms were basic, a bit dated but very clean.
Cons: Very busy at breakfast.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: friendly staff ,very clean ,good bar
Cons: breakfast expensive
6.7 Good
Pros: Excellent location. Car parking wasn't a problem as we culd easily use the public car park nearby. Restaurant and hotel staff very friendly and efficient.
7.7 Good
Pros: Our third stay at this hotel in 4 years. Close to the Barrosa beach it is ideal for relaxation and is relatively close to such places as Cadiz for a night out. You have the choice of preparing food in your own apartment, eating in the hotel restaurant or in one of the nearby restaurants.
6.7 Good
Pros: The hotel was luckily situated very close to the beach (however we only visited the beach at the site once since there was a lot of wind the periode in question) and we chose other alternatives (of swimming). The surroundings were very nice. In spite of the fact that the area is only containing hotels and golf courses, a great architecture of the hotels have been chosen which makes it a nice area. The personnel was very friendly and the apartment was even better than I expected. We had the view over the swimmingpool which was beautiful. There was a small play ground in the hotel garden.
Cons: The view of the swimmingpool was also sligthly negative since all people passed under our window on their way to and from the restaurant which made late evenings very noisy when keeping the window open. The beds were terribly unconfortable! The kitchen equipment should contain some more pieces. I also would have liked to see some more training/sport facilities. The hotel play ground could have been slightly bigger considering the space available and some parts of it could have been better adapted to the hands of children. Two local buses an hour, or one in the evening, passing the hotel, was not so good, I think, for persons who wish to see other places, so we had to rent a car which was, at least for me, un unexpected cost.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the cleanest place I have ever stayed. Fantastic. Good Location, near to the beach, staff very good, friendly. Excellent value for money.
6.8 Good
Pros: The rooms were spacious and well furnished; the pool and surroundings were very nice and enjoyable. The breakfast was good and very complete. The beach is very nice and conveniently close to the hotel.
Cons: The apartment could have just a little more equipment... just some minor cleaning utensils maybe. The parking near the hotel was not easy and the area for loading/unloading of bags or passengers was permanently occupied by cars parked.
5.6 Okay
Pros: good pool, very friendly and helpful staff, close to beach and restaurants / facilities in Chiclana
Cons:
5.2 Okay
Pros: Nice pool, nice and clean apartment
Cons: away from sea, adaptet only for native guests, away from nightlive

El Campanario - Chiclana de la Frontera - Building
20
8.1 Excellent (610 reviews)
5.0 Okay
Pros: Situation across from the beach, extremely close to bar restaurants, parking outside
Cons: Room extremely small, plug by bedhead, no hot water, tiny bathroom
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and in a great location across from the beach, nice shared balcony with a view of the ocean. At this time of year the area wasn't crowded so we really enjoyed the location. We would defintely stay here again if in the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, overlooking the castle of Sancti Petri
Cons: The smell of the toilets - awful reek
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Sea view and access to shared balcony
Cons: Small bedroom and bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Campanario is a magical place in an ideal location for rest, leisure, sport. You could sit in the cafeteria overlooking the beach for hours, or have an exquisite meal of fresh fish on the porch. I would go back next week if I could !
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice building, directly at the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Different restaurants nearby along the beach
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and welcoming
5.8 Okay
Pros: Top Located directly at the beach, very friendly owner, cleaning every day
Cons: Top Located directly at the beach. The apartment size was announced as 80 square meters - from my point of view it was not more than 45 square meters. It was as well announced that the apartment has a balcony and a teressa. There was no balcony and the Terrasse needs to be shared with others. This was not announced in the description. There was no heating in the apartment - so it was very cold. The equipment was very old and limited. We were aware that it is a hostel but with a price of 75 euros per day at the end of March totally overpriced - during the beach season i would understand the price but not for the early pre season. There was no comfort in the apartment as well. For example in Sevilla we paid 75 euros per night in a very well located and equipped apartment in the center
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We chose to order our own breakfast and it was very good. They catered for 16 on the first night there and everything was fresh and very good. The position is right in the heart of the night time fun but not noisy. Rooms are adequate with nice bathrooms and free A/C. Cleanliness is excellent and the owner is very nice. No complaints whatsoever.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location right at the beach was for us the reason to choose this place and also it was the cheapest by far in Chiclana de la Frontera. Staff was also friendly and they washed our clothes for free.
Cons: The room is ok but the bathroom is very small. Breakfast is expensive at 10 euro however outside it is probably the same price. They close at 8pm meaning no dinner or late drinks. Also most of the staff speak only spanish.
