Great location for walking to everything downtown. Gave us beach towels and chairs when we went to Isle of Palms.
The Governor’s Inn was a beautiful, historical mansion and run by the best staff. Traveling a lot for business, we have encountered several establishments and staff. Hands down, this place was the best. We celebrated our 20th Anniversary and from the moment we checked in till the time we left, all were helpful and full of smiles. Our chef, Meredith, knocked our socks off with breakfast. She prepared some of the most delicious meals we’ve had. Our evenings were filled with wine and appetizers that gave you the opportunity to mingle with the other guests. Kimberley, the director, did an amazing job working with my husband in a few Anniversary surprises. (He did a surprise vow renewal) She helped make this trip a memory that will not be forgotten. We will definitely eat returning.
That we couldn’t stay longer. Reality called.
Location is great. Most things we did were within walking distance from the Inn. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.
Everything was just right!! Such history at the Inn, friendly and caring staff, beautiful, clean, and comfortable accommodations. The opportunity to meet the owners was fabulous! Very friendly!
Spacious comfortable room. Delicious breakfast.
The prices in the entire area are extremely high
