Brent, the assistant manager, made check in very easy. He was very attentive to our arrival into our room, dinner service and other plans for our trip. He made us feel welcomed. The bellman and our dinner waiter were also wonderful. Will definitely return and recommend your hotel.
Parking was limited, the driving lanes were narrow. This will get harder for me to navigate when I get older.

$600+ room, right on the highway, Great View tho, that is what you are paying for, everything else as cheap and minimal as possible. Aside from the fireplace. The View and Fireplace made it worth it, sort of. Restaurant and service at the restaurant was also substandard, in my humble opinion. Perhaps I just caught it on a bad day. The staff hospitality was prefessional, the corporate intention cheapened the hospitality somewhat.

Carmel provides some of the most breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean on all of the west coast, and the Hyatt Highlands Inn is your place to take in every sunrise and sunset during your stay.
The hotel is smaller compared to a lot of big chains with just under 50 rooms. The exclusive community provides multiple different suites and many of the renovated rooms provide spectacular views of the ocean. The rooms are gorgeously furnished and feature wood-burning fireplaces as well as oversized marble tubs.
The California Market at Pacific's Edge is a fusion of the hotel's already two award winning restaurants and features incredible views of Point Lobos State Reserve. Hand-crafted cocktails are served daily and provided in the Sunset Lounge. Room service can cater to you whenever you so please.
It supports special events through a nearly 5,000 square foot indoor and outdoor meeting space. The redwood deck is especially scenic, and delivers outstanding views of the Pacific as many conference centers cannot match this kind of outdoor experience.
Additional amenities include massive flat screen TVs, iPod docking stations with iHome stereo, high speed DS3 internet and personal desks in every room. Staff is friendly and quick to offer assistance on any personal requests.
The beautiful resort has been around since 1917, as it was quick to snatch up some of the finest real estate on the Pacific.
