Room was dirty had to change rooms, spiders on the bed, dead bugs in the conners. Breakfast was very overly priced.
The breakfast, no spa, the cleanness
Beautiful Hotel in a beautiful setting. Friendly helpful staff and met the owner when we were checking out, what a very nice gentleman indeed. 10 out of 10 all day long.
Nothing to dislike.
Room was really well equipped. Lovely and clean.
Got locked in our room due to a faulty lock for 20 mins as we were checking out. Guy came to let us out after using our mobile to ring reception, as the room phone wouldn’t work. He was apologetic and said it had happened before !!!! What would of happened in the event of a fire !!!! Once in reception the girl was aware of the incident and then asked for £8-50 for a drink we had the night before. Very surprised that in the circumstance !!!!
It’s a Victorian mansion converted for events; to get married here would be v special. They also have rooms for travellers like us. Our room was v clean with new fittings in bathroom. The food was very good - chicken pie was great. Service was very good. The Breakfasts are very very good.
Wi Fi is not great and phone signal poor.
Very quiet and peaceful location. Friendly staff and excellent service. By chance, there was hardly anyone else staying on the night that we did, it felt as though we had the run of the whole place, which was great.
Nothing worth noting.
