One star is too much
I got a choice of three rooms and all the bathrooms had nasty mold and mildew in the showers. I checked out the same day.
Good value for money and helpful friendly staff. Close to centre of town. Breakfasts included.
No sitting room where you could escape from your room. Some rooms did not have external windows.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel building had "character" and history. Location was good.
Your staff were wonderful, went out of their way to help us, and the lady next door who saw to the breakfasts was efficient, friendly and sweet.Congrats on your staff and their attitude!
The location in Cape Town is wonderful as it is off of a pedestrian area and walking distance or quick cab to waterfront and Table Mountain. Included breakfast was very good.
The rooms were very sparse, somewhat institutional even though the hotel itself has a lovely lobby and interesting 200+ year history.
staff very helpful and safety minded
it is not in a good area of town Central Cape Town is not a safe place to walk about after dark
it is in the city small "family feel" hotel easy access by car
toilet ring was loose
Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent.
Very big room with fair price. The staffs are so friendly and would love to solve your problems as soon as possible. (I would love to thank them for finding out my camera lost in my tour).
The heater does not really assure you a warm night. However, think about that the winter in Cape Town only lasts two months, the heater is not reallly useful for people there. Actually when I stayed later in another town in Western Cape, there was no heater at all. So maybe this is not a real problem.
Not really. I liked the hotel.
