Breakfast was great. I’m an early riser and was able to fuel up and get on with my day. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I liked the little private patio also. My son was at a mindfulness retreat close by and I had a quiet stay to recharge my parenting batteries.
I had lunch in the restaurant one day. I ordered fish and chips. Not bad but not great. Fries were good but the fish seemed like it was a frozen product. Was expecting fresh being that the location is so close to the ocean. Staff in the restaurant were awesome. Very friendly and attentive.
Perfect in every way, just a little far from the w 101 freeway.
The outdoor heated pool was lovely. The food and service in the bar was good. The cabin was spacious and very homely.
Breakfast was a disgrace. Half of the dishes were empty. There was very little supervision of the breakfast offering. No coffee, bread, cereal, very drab food overcooked . The staff were not very friendly.
The accommodation was good and the food in the restaurant was nice. We also liked the live singing in the bar in the evening.
We really liked the Cambria Pine Lodge. It's got a quite retro, traditional feel that we liked.
Huge room. Could easily have slept 6 in the room. Good breakfast buffet and loads available even though it was busy.
No kids in the room where the entertainment was taking place in the evening.
The Cambria Pines Lodge in Cambria, California is set in the idyllic setting of 25 acres of gardens and California pine forest. The lodge borrows much of its style from its surroundings, making sure guests get a full taste of both nature and convenience.

There is a restaurant with a lounge and a kitchen garden. Add to this the nighlty entertainment of live music and karaoke, and you have an overall entertaining and comfortable experience.
If needed, guests can take advantage of the meeting place to host a small gathering or business meeting. The outdoor pool is heated so there is no reason to retreat inside when the crisp California air hits your skin. And if things get a little too chilly, guests can always go over to the hot tub. For exercise, there is a volleyball court. And if guests would like to venture further outside, there are nature trails that pave the way to a personal introduction to the flora and fauna this scenic area of California has to offer.
As the evening approaches, guests have the option of getting together to hang out at the Fireside Lounge and enjoy local wines, beers, and spirits.
The Cambria Pines Lodge is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle and get more in touch with nature.
