We stayed here for the location and because we were three weeks into our trip and wanted to pamper ourselves before heading into Morocco. This place was perfect! The beach is stunning, our room was clean and lovely, and everyone was helpful. So many nice restaurants within walking distance. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel entrance that took us into town when we wanted to explore. I loved the beach here--swimmable water, nice lounge chairs, and beer vendors! Cold beer for one euro? Yes, please! We did not eat here at the hotel, so I can't tell you about the food. And I really wish coffee had been available in the lobby. We had to buy it at the bar and take it back to the room. A small thing, but one of those things a traveler appreciates.
An easier way to get coffee in the morning, without purchasing a 14 euro breakfast buffet.
Everything was perfect - a great hotel. The staff were excellent.
Located in the newer part of Cadiz, a cab ride away from the ancient part, and right by the beach. It’s a big hotel so it’s a bit more impersonal. My room was very spacious, with a balcony overlooking the square in front of the hotel. A bit expensive, but it’s great if you want the individual privacy a big hotel offers.
View across the beach
The area. Felt like a Spanish equivalent of Blackpool. As in, it was like it had past its heyday. However, 3km down the road, in old town Cadiz, things were a lot nicer.
breakfast was very good. Buffet style and a lot to choose from. The servers were excellent and very attentive.
The chairs and umbrellas that are set up right next to the hotel on the beach, definitely APPEAR to be for the hotel guests. However they are not and you have to pay 6 euros per chair each day.
