The excellent situation, and the view from the terrace. The courteous and helpful staff. very good breakfast. Easy walk to the od town with all its attractions. If you want the beach there is an excellent one just 2 mins turning right from the hotel. Always something to see in the bay, we were pleased we took the binoculars.
There were problems with the pool while we were there, but I assume this was only temporary.

The location. The staff is trying very hard to give you a good experience, still, no one can be that good so you forget about the old hotel.
Very old and in bad condition, not refurbished for around 20 years. Airconditioning in first room not working at all during the day, so we got a new one when we came back after dinner. Then we find out that the AC is switched off in the whole hotel its switched off at 11.30 pm means you will have a very warm sleep. There are much much nicer hotels for this price in Cadiz. Very surprised to see this rund down place being marketed as a Parador. Very very disapointed.
