We’ve stayed at an all inclusive before and the food here was so much better! It was really good and a really balanced selection! Being able to have access to all the sister resorts made it exciting as well.
The AC in our room made a horrendous noise the last two nights. They tried to fix it but we just had to turn it off and sleep in a less than cold room.
We enjoyed the location ,the property, and staff was very friendly. Will definitely be back
Everything was great for our family
Wow what a place I though this would be a step down from the previous resort I stayed near San José but not at all. From the moment you walk in you feel like in a palace and the views from the rooms are stunning!!!
Nothing exceeds expectations
Very friendly staff throughout the property, as well as the sister properties, made for a great stay. The hotel is right on the beach, and next to the Pueblo Bonito Rose, which we preferred for its food options and pool. Both places are very family-friendly, and we did meet a lot of them the week we were there (post Easter). We took the all-inclusive option - which gave us access to all the restaurants on the Blanco (two restaurants) and about 4 in Rose, and a lot more in Sunset Beach (about a 15 minute drive away). Breakfast at the Mare Nostrum restaurant in the Rose is a huge buffet spread, which was lovely - great selection of fruit, breads, egg station, and mexican food. Lunch was typically by the pool, so tacos, burgers, those type of things. We didn't stay for dinner - opted to eat in town. The rooms are clean and bright, but a bit dated. The grounds of the hotel are well maintained. The staff were great about keeping us entertained at the pool, with water aerobics and trivia sessions - not something i thought id be doing on holiday but it was fantastic! I had read reviews about being harassed about buying into the timeshare scene - but it didn't happen, except for when we checked in, and we were offered a free activity (dinner cruise, ATV rides etc.) if we went to a breakfast and presentation at the other property, Sunset Beach - but we didn't opt for this.
The wifi kept disconnecting when we used it on the phone. The rooms are bit dated and desperate for an upgrade - especially the bedroom and bathroom. Few mosquitoes in the room, bothered me at night. Service at the pool in Rose is slow - get your own drinks, that's the only way you will make the most of the all inclusive! Seating at the pool can be hard to get, lots of people try reserve spaces early in the morning, etc. - we went to Rose around 10 and easily found a spot.
It is simply the best all inclusive I have ever stayed in (I've been staying in them for 20 years). The food was far better, the service was far better, the grounds were as nice / better. They even have a pillow menu, feather or synthetic, hard or soft, etc. Their beach towels are better. 24 hour room service AND a kitchenette are included. I will definitely go there again.
Not one complaint.
Nestled on the beach, this El Medano Ejidal property is within 3 mi (5 km) of Marina Cabo San Lucas, The Arch, and Land's End. Lover's Beach and Cabo San Lucas Country Club are also within 3 mi (5 km).
